13/07/2025: It's always a pleasure to stop by Filippo's for an aperitif, dinner, and great music. Always friendly and helpful, the service is quick and always with a smile.

16/07/2025: Absolutely to be avoided, sky-high prices for nothing to eat, I'm sorry to speak like this but when it is deserved it must absolutely be said, anonymous place, I left with a bitter taste in my mouth, cold and hot appetizers really poor, there is a limit to everything!!

12/07/2025: FANTASTIC! (Hidden gem) Upon arrival, it seems like there's no one there. But that's only downstairs. A friendly, cheerful hostess asks if you'd like an aperitif. They also have something special for children. (You think, "Oh, that'll be on the bill later"), but no, it's on the house. The upstairs rooftop terrace was packed later in the evening. And there was excellent live music. The atmosphere was a 10. The friendly service was a 10. The food was very tasty and delicious. 10. A hidden gem.

24/08/2025: Silvia did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought gluten-free products and baked a cake for us. She's an absolute gem of a hostess. + Spacious, clean room + Well-equipped kitchen + Good breakfast + Nice pool + Quiet location near Modena and Bologna. - The only downside was the spotty Wi-Fi.

09/08/2025: A 19th-century place full of charm, simplicity, and excellent cuisine. The rooms are spacious with high wooden ceilings and wooden furnishings. The staff is kind and friendly. A small pool with a garden and loungers completes the welcome.

25/06/2025: Delicious food. For those who could not have gluten they had a homemade pasta gluten free. Also delicious meat and fish dishes.

08/06/2025: Welcoming location, dishes with attention to detail, starting from the divine appetizers, the very special first courses, crispy mixed fried food. Excellent selection of wines. Amaro offered by the house. Definitely a place where I will return.

22/08/2025: Business trip, restaurant recommended by my hotel. The very friendly staff made me feel at home. The dinner, as requested, was mostly typical of the place. The timing and portions were very balanced. I'll be back.

13/08/2025: We arrived at 7 PM and got a table at 10 PM, but I think that's normal and expected. The owner was very kind and helpful in recommending the many piadina combos, including the mixed tasting platters, which I highly recommend. We gave the kitchen complete freedom and were rewarded with exotic flavors and unexpected pairings, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Finally, I recommend the squaquerone and fig piadina, which almost doubles as a dessert. The prices were excellent for the quality. I might have a few complaints about the drinks, but overall, I'm satisfied with the bill.

22/05/2025: We visited the restaurant Ciccia e Tortellini during our visit to Bologna. Honestly, the impression is quite average. The place looks decent, but there is nothing particularly special about the ambiance or the service. The menu is quite modest, especially for a region that is otherwise gastronomically rich. The waitress who served us seemed disinterested and unwilling to recommend or explain the dishes, which further detracted from the experience. We tried the tortellini soup – the tortellini were al dente, which is certainly commendable, but the rest did not leave a strong impression. All in all, decent, but I would not necessarily recommend it to someone looking for something authentic and hearty in the heart of Emilia-Romagna.

17/08/2025: La Vecchia Pirri is a Modena institution. Everything is delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly. It's a truly wonderful place, especially for us Modenese, and not just us. It's a very popular place, and the atmosphere is truly wonderful. Everything is delicious, from the excellent pizza to the restaurant. The desserts they make are delicious, especially the zuppa inglese, a typical Modenese dish. We highly recommend it.

13/08/2025: Vecchia Pirri is always a sure thing, a historic landmark in the heart of Modena. Tradition without too many frills. Giulia, one of the waitresses, is talented and cheerful. Congratulations to everyone.

15/08/2025: The place is very nice, it feels like being in the countryside, in my opinion it's the best place to have a drink after dinner but I wouldn't go back for dinner, the pizzas are very expensive, they have to be gluten-free and they're not even very good in my opinion.
