16/11/2025: We were in the area and were looking for a place to eat, and this place won us over. We were happy with the beer and the Negroni cocktail, which I was happy to discover thanks to them, and the appetizers included. This bar also serves ice cream, and we were happy to try original flavors, just what we were looking for. Nicely decorated.

01/10/2025: I had lunch on Sunday, and after calling for information (I couldn't find the place), I had a wonderful meal. Fixed-price menu. Generous portions and excellent quality. A positive note was the kindness of the chef and the two waitresses. I will definitely be back. Thank you all ♥️

27/09/2025: We had such a wonderful experience here. The food was excellent — truly homely Italian cooking. The grilled beef and grilled potatoes were hearty and full of flavor, and the fresh tagliatelle was perfectly cooked and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service stood out even more. Despite the language barrier, the waitresses were incredibly kind and thoughtful — they even helped us with our crying baby so we could enjoy our meal, which we deeply appreciated. Everything about this place felt warm, friendly, and authentic. No complaints at all — highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine Italian hospitality and excellent local food

22/08/2025: This village trattoria tells the story of the local food and wine. Typical Piacenza cured meats accompanied by homemade giardiniera. Tortelli Piacentini made to perfection with thin pasta and a flavorful filling. Pisarei and fasò were equally delicious and characteristic. The main courses were as good as the entire meal. To finish, the apple pie was sublime. The only drawbacks: the excessive heat in the dining room (but it was a truly muggy day), the length of the lunch, and the loud chatter. Lunch on August 15th lasted from 12:30 to approximately 4:00 PM. Nevertheless, Congratulations to all the staff for their dedication and hard work. Well done.

06/11/2025: Nothing to complain about regarding the pizza's quality. Nor about the terrace. Unfortunately, when there are a lot of people and there's no option to sit on the covered terrace, inside you run the risk of being subjected to excessive noise from the old buildings, making it difficult to converse. Oh, and there's nothing to complain about regarding the service and staff. Basically, in the summer, when you can sit outside, it's a top spot; in the winter, or when the first chill starts to set in outside and you're forced to stay inside, the rating suffers for the reasons stated above.

01/11/2025: Our new favorite seafood restaurant for a week now! We were welcomed and served by Cristina, a special person, professional, friendly, and fun! The dishes were delicious, both in quality and quantity! And the dining room? The dining room is absolutely stunning! Thank you, "Il Ritrovo," we'll be back soon!

05/12/2025: Everything is perfect! The Sicilian specialties are incredible. Even at lunch, you're pampered with their daily menus. The service is excellent, and a laugh with Maurizio is guaranteed.

20/09/2025: A pleasant place on a stream. The mushrooms, cooked in various ways, are delicious! The tagliatelle with mushrooms is good, but they use dry tagliatelle. The wine markups are significant, even excessive. Then they complain that they don't drink wine in the restaurant anymore... I had a good time, but given how much else is available, I certainly won't be returning.

14/09/2025: Nice place but the owner is first and foremost very rude, the staff does not cater to customers and the food is average and then very expensive in my opinion there are better restaurants nearby that are much kinder and more available to accommodate the needs of customers I have made a cross for this restaurant not recommended for elderly people and disabled people

01/12/2025: Best gluten-free piadina I've ever had, with the option of trying pinsa for those of us with celiac disease. There's also a wide selection for vegetarians. The staff is very friendly and the place is welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

12/09/2025: Wide variety of excellent quality food, super fast service, I love having an aperitif in the evening or even dinner, excellent value. I love going there at sunset, but keep in mind that cargo ships occasionally pass through, with pros and cons.

06/10/2025: We found this place by chance while strolling through Gatteo looking for something to eat (given the season, many restaurants have now finished their season). We entered, drawn by the atmosphere, which gave us a wonderful feeling of small, tidy, and lovingly run, and it was a wonderful discovery. Seeing the pizzas of other diners, we opted for the same choice. From the menu, we sensed a "Neapolitan" touch throughout. Proof of this came from the exquisite pizzas, carefully prepared, plentiful, and with excellent ingredients. Monica's (the owner's daughter) kindness was greatly appreciated; friendly and outgoing, she made us feel at ease, just what we were looking for. What can I say: well done, excellent family management, you undoubtedly deserve 5 stars. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely return to this place. Keep up the good work, congratulations.
