20/05/2026: I had dinner last night with a group of friends at this osteria in Montiano, and we were all thoroughly satisfied. The interior is welcoming and quaint, and we sat on a wonderful, bright veranda overlooking the square. Despite the place being packed, the staff were very courteous, friendly, and incredibly quick, making sure there was no waiting between courses. We decided to try everything and sample several different dishes to experience more. For appetizers, we had cured meats from their own butcher shop, the tartare with caramelized onion, and the carpaccio with fresh artichokes and Sogliano fossa cheese... dishes of truly excellent quality and bold flavor. Next, we shared the main courses, and you could see they know how to handle the ingredients: both the lamb chops and the fillet alla saba were cooked to perfection, and I've rarely encountered such tender meat. For sides, we had roast potatoes and sautéed country herbs, which paired perfectly. To accompany the entire dinner, we chose a bottle of Sangiovese Appassimento from the Zavalloni winery, a local red, full-bodied and with good structure. The portions are decidedly honest, the products are fresh and local, and the final bill was completely fair for the quality and quantity of what we ate (€60 per person). It's a shame it's a bit far for someone from Rimini, but it's definitely worth it.

23/04/2026: Osteria Lucchi is a local landmark for those who want to enjoy high-quality meat and Romagna cuisine prepared as it should be. The family welcomes you with a smile and a warm welcome. They offer a selection of carefully selected local wines. The terrace overlooking the Montiano square is worth stopping by for lunch or dinner, at least twice a year, to enjoy and recharge your soul. Excellent!

The service was very friendly and attentive, the regional wine was excellent, the chicken with keffiyeh and lime was delicious, and the pizza was light and not greasy at all! Wine is also available for purchase. Thank you so much; we'll definitely come back whenever we're in the area.

22/12/2025: A restaurant's reliability is judged first and foremost by its owners, and professionalism is certainly not a given here. We booked a table for 12 people for a Friday in February (booking months in advance), and when we arrived, the table wasn't available ("I cancelled the reservation because I couldn't remember whose name was on the table," quote). We gave it a second chance, and at that point, we booked a Christmas lunch for Sunday, December 21st, for 16 people. Luckily, we called on Saturday to confirm, given the previous reservation: the table wasn't available. Not a single apology, not an offer of preferential treatment. Needless to say, the province was packed for some cured meats and gnocco fritto. All the best.

20/05/2026: The only option is the all-you-can-eat menu. The food is so-so, very greasy and heavy. €40 per person seems excessive to me.

20/05/2026: The place itself is very nice, but the service doesn't quite reflect it: the waiters were a bit apathetic, let's say a bit down. The food was overall okay, except for the fried calamari, which was so rubbery you couldn't even bite into it, and let alone the chicken, which was very soft and soaked in sweet and sour sauce.

07/05/2026: This restaurant serves excellent seafood dishes, especially the homemade pasta dishes. I recommend the mixed antipasto. Takeout is also available, and there's also a deli next door with tables. It's best to book in advance. The restaurant is large and close to the sea. Parking is limited.

03/05/2026: I went there during the Kite Festival, and the place was really busy. The girl who served us was very friendly and kind. Decent food. Mussels marinara was good. Spaghetti with clams, however, was quite dry. The other friends had appetizers and a first course. Cost: €40 per person.
