10/10/2025: There were two of us, and during the short wait upon arrival, we were offered an entrée of creamed carrot soup with pink peppercorns, a much-appreciated gesture that served as a pleasant prelude to dinner. We then ordered the "Sirena" cold appetizer, a dish featuring a mix of all the restaurant's cold appetizers: • lightly marinated treglia fillets on a bed of vegetables and citrus fruits with grated pink peppercorns, • Mediterranean-style skate wings, • mojito-marinated salmon, • warm seafood salad with crunchy vegetables, • marinated sardines with diced tomatoes, Tropea onion, and green apple. Next, we enjoyed marinated mussels and a truly exquisite mixed fried dish, with calamari, cuttlefish, prawns, fried vegetables, and other small, crispy and light fish. As an accompaniment, we ordered a plain piadina, served warm and perfectly complementing the dishes. To drink, two bottles of water, and to finish, a single coffee, served with a cute little plate of heart-shaped cookies—a truly appreciated small gesture. 💶 Total for two: €77.80 The restaurant overlooks the sea, with a quiet, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for a dinner as a couple or with friends. The service is friendly, attentive, and very attentive, and the dishes are tasty, beautifully presented, and prepared with quality ingredients. 👉 A truly positive experience: recommended!

09/10/2025: They served me a spoiled oyster, and the manager or owner didn't apologize and denied the evidence. Meanwhile, the waiter confirmed that they were detecting a strong, unusual odor coming from the kitchen. Perhaps whoever denied it should be running a landfill, not a restaurant. Be careful.

19/10/2025: Farmhouse in the middle of nowhere but very (too) close to the highway, unfortunately with a lot of noise. The room was very nice, spacious, and comfortable. We found the restaurant overpriced. Nothing exceptional. The staff was very pleasant and professional.

13/11/2025: During a recent family lunch at Locanda Appennino in Predappio, spurred on by the numerous enthusiastic reviews and the restaurant's fame, we settled in with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn't live up to its reputation. Appetizer – the highlight of the lunch: We started with a mixed cold cuts platter, which proved to be the most convincing dish, along with the main course. Excellent-quality, well-aged cured meats were served with fresh bread and warm piadina. A promising start, but one that lacked continuity in the subsequent courses. First courses – a complete disappointment: - The passatelli in brodo were a real disappointment: the broth was overly citrusy, with a lemony flavor so strong that it completely overpowered the flavor of the Parmesan and the broth itself. This unbalanced balance made the dish less than enjoyable. - The tagliatelle with ragù, a signature dish of Romagna cuisine, was unfortunately unremarkable: the pasta wasn't perfectly cooked and the ragù was flat, flavorless, and lacked the depth one expects from well-crafted traditional cuisine. Main courses – highlights and shadows: - The wild boar stew was undoubtedly the highlight of the lunch: tender, well-marinated meat with a rich, fragrant sauce. A meticulous preparation that restored some faith in the restaurant's cuisine. - The bruciatini, on the other hand, were a misstep: the pancetta was undercooked, with a mushy texture and an unbalanced fatty flavor. The bottom of the plate was a greasy swill, making the meal heavy and unappetizing. Service and atmosphere: The staff was courteous but lacked attention to our needs, especially considering the large number of waiters compared to the number of guests in the dining room. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the noise level was low, encouraging conversation at the table. Conclusion: Despite its reputation, our experience at Locanda Appennino was disappointing in several respects. A few well-executed dishes weren't enough to compensate for the serious lapses in style in the kitchen. Two stars reflect a meal that could—and should—have been much better, especially in an area where gastronomic tradition is a source of pride.

14/11/2025: It was a wonderful experience. We stayed in August. The staff were friendly, welcoming, clean, quiet, and excellent food. What more could you ask for? We'll definitely be back.

13/10/2025: We were immediately taken care of upon arrival – someone from the hotel came especially to show us the parking space, as none of the spaces were available. Then another warm welcome, and we were even given a book about the area. The pool is wonderfully clean and surrounded by plenty of loungers. Note: A swimming cap is mandatory, but you can also borrow one! Our room was wonderful and had a balcony with a magnificent view. It was a shame we only had one chair for outside, but we always carried it out of the room. The beds were too soft for us, but otherwise everything was perfect. We stayed for a week but will definitely come back!

29/11/2025: Informal place, actually it has very little Asian atmosphere, but the food at the moment I can consider it the best I have eaten so far comparing it with all the Asian restaurants in the area, it seems like a family run with the children in the dining room and the parents in the kitchen, I have been several times and unlike others that are inconsistent, here I have always had a good experience, especially in the food, prices in line with other places

The pizza, made with quality ingredients but a bit hard to digest, and the atmosphere, where despite the sound-absorbing panels, the noise generated by the people in the dining room remains high, are a bit off-putting.

I say unfortunately because I was hoping to celebrate my birthday where at the beginning I was told that it could be organized but unfortunately due to their policy of not taking reservations they told me that if we had been at the table for 7:30/8 pm there would have been no problem but 40/50 people are difficult to have for dinner at that time also because I work first and foremost I believe that this choice penalizes them a lot but a month from my birthday I was left stranded precisely for my 40th where I wanted to have a nice party I repeat it really a shame because the food was excellent

10/10/2025: If you're craving a truly satisfying burger, this is the place to go. You'll find select local ingredients and unexpected combinations, for phenomenal results! When the weather permits, you can dine al fresco in a relaxed atmosphere.

19/11/2025: The place is very beautiful and welcoming, the food is very good, high-quality, and above all, the prices are very reasonable. For example, a first course costs around €8-9, a second course €10-15, a dessert around €2-4, and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend it.
