29/12/2025: December 29, 2025. We ate tagliolini with ragù, passatelli in broth, three side dishes, two main courses, three desserts, two liters of still water, two coffees, and a Remy Martin, for three covers: €75. Every day, the main courses and side dishes are served buffet style, along with a few first courses. You can also order à la carte, but they take longer: we ate what was on offer today. I really liked the veal with tuna sauce because, in few other places where I've had it, the sauce was savory, while today, it was just the capers that gave it the right saltiness. Even though I've lived in Imola for a long time, I'd never been there. We loved everything: a few things were done well. It was like eating at home. The atmosphere was comfortable, not at all noisy. I recommend booking to secure a seat inside. The facilities are spacious and well-maintained: my only concern is that it might be difficult for someone with mobility issues to access, as there are two steps to climb. I'd never seen Caffè 14 Luglio before: it's Bolognese, pleasant.

24/01/2026: We're back... all-you-can-eat tigelle and fried gnocco with cold cuts and Nutella for dessert. The set menu also includes stewed beans (a little too garlicky), rabbit, and sometimes duck... excellent.

18/02/2026: I think the reviews are largely overly optimistic, so much so that I doubt their veracity. It's impossible that so many people don't notice that: - Terrible food. Acceptable for a novice friend who invites me to dinner, but definitely not in a restaurant. - Lots of pre-cooked frozen foods, far too many. Defrosted in the microwave just before serving. I'm no expert, but I think only a lab can do this, not a restaurant kitchen. For example: the homemade empanadas, frozen and badly defrosted just before serving. - No attention to plating. We're in a high-priced restaurant, not a Caritas soup kitchen. - Overall, a modest environment, which many are content with by extolling, because eating vegan in Ravenna is difficult. Three stars instead of one because they're 100% vegan. But that's not how restaurants are done. I hope they improve a lot; it would be wonderful.

08/02/2026: The menu is completely vegan: I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try a different cuisine, without prejudice! The dishes are well-prepared, truly delicious, and prove that vegan options exist—you just need to know how to cook them 😋. The place is delightful, as is the staff. A must-see in Ravenna (which has so many vegan options, congratulations!!!!)

09/01/2026: Typical Piacenza trattoria, just like it used to be... No "gurmet" here... genuine quality and everything locally sourced... not miles away. Highly recommended, take your time and book! A few dishes made like they were 100 years ago.

14/09/2025: The pizza is good but not exceptional. I ordered Leggera with extra buffalo mozzarella and didn't notice any difference from a mozzarella fiordilatte. The dough is good but doesn't stay soft like a classic Neapolitan pizza.

14/12/2025: Exceptional welcome. Booked for lunch with friends. We arrived early and enjoyed an excellent aperitif outside with a view of the hills. Service was prompt but never intrusive. In fact, the fish selection on the menu was exceptional. Special mention for the fried octopus and the tuna steak with puntarelle, which is very hard to find. As a Roman, I assure you, puntarelle are expertly made. Then there were the cod spheres. Oh God, I lost my dignity. I almost licked the plate. Paella was made upon reservation. Here, I have to make a comment about the quality and quantity of the fish. Nothing to complain about. In fact, it was abundant, perhaps even too much for my personal taste. It was an exceptional risotto, but not a paella. Obviously, everything can be improved. The wine list is tastefully stocked and offers exceptional wines at a more than reasonable price. Will I return? Absolutely, and I'll be happy to bring more friends. Congratulations guys, and keep it up. The only complaint is that if you have the Amex logo outside, a customer expects you to accept credit cards. But I repeat, everything can be remedied. Highly recommended.

08/12/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to a friend, and I still can't believe it was so close to home. A true gem, especially for seafood lovers: dishes rich in flavor, expertly prepared, and capable of bringing the authentic aroma of the sea to the table. The baby octopus appetizer was simply fabulous, tender and flavorful. The first course, tagliatelle with crab and leek, was a true delight: original and fun to crack the claws and savor every marine nuance of the dish. The grilled fish was also excellent, well-executed; the only complaint concerns the plating, which could be a little more refined. Everything was accompanied by a fresh and fragrant Sardinian Vermentino, perfect for enhancing the flavors of the fish. To finish, a sundae flavored with a dash of nocino: irresistible. Impeccable service. The owner is a delightful and very sociable person, while the chef was available to accommodate every request. Interesting note: upon request, you can also order the whole *purceddù*. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. A place to return to again and again!
