We were treated very well and the food was excellent.
We highly recommend the roast beef and the spaghetti al pepe.

11/11/2025: Very nice local Hostaria. The background music (Italian music from the 70s, 80s and 90s) contributed to the atmosphere.

If we want to nitpick, it's located right on the road, so while you're eating, you have to put up with the noise and smog of passing cars.

26/10/2025: A very beautiful museum and park, visited during a farmers' event featuring many local products. Conveniently located near the highway, with options for dining on site or nearby. A very pleasant and useful experience for children. We'll definitely be back!
26/10/2025: A place where history meets nature. I recommend a visit to the museum for adults and children alike. And if the weather is nice, a stroll in the park. Information on opening hours is on the museum website.

22/12/2025: Truly amazing place with truly delicious food! We were staying for one night in Bologna on our way back to Canada, and thankfully went to La Prosciutteria for a very late lunch. Their menu offers so many choices. My son had a sandwich/Schiacciata and I had La Prosciutteria Chopping Board.Both were very generous and beyond delicious, with beautiful presentation. I also ordered Aperol Spritz. The vibe of the place is just perfect - lively and welcoming. If I’m ever back in Bologna this will be my place to go to!

24/11/2025: The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner and the girls were incredibly kind. I come to Bologna often, and this was my first time at Nuova Fraschetta. I had the best gramigna with ragù ever.
I can't wait to return.
22/11/2025: We visited Bologna in October 2025 and stayed at a great Airbnb just one block from the train station. Within a four block semi circle from that location were some terrific restaurants, not touristy, local, and walkable. La Nuova Fraschetta was one of our favorites and we returned there for another dinner. The bruschetta was perfect, the ragu one of the best, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place.

27/11/2025: For travelers on the Via Vandelli, the Conca D'Oro Hotel and Restaurant is a unique experience, offering a warm welcome from days gone by. The rooms are basic yet comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and a spacious shower for a nice hot bath after a long, up-and-down hike with fantastic views. A wonderful, rich and authentic dinner. Excellent local craft beer! The breakfast was superb, tailor-made for us. It was truly an experience we will always remember. Thank you for everything!
15/11/2025: Passing through Via Vandelli, we found a dated but welcoming hotel, where we were treated very well. Next door, there's also a bar/grocery store and a fountain, useful for travelers to stock up on supplies.
Excellent, authentic dinner!

17/11/2025: I tried this restaurant on Sunday with my partner. The worst tagliatelle alla (non) Romagnola, basically tomato-based and with no aroma whatsoever, a real disappointment, not to mention the low-quality cold cuts. I only save the tagliata. Total disappointment.

02/12/2025: A pleasant place where you can drink and grab a bite to eat, not just appetizers. The trio of burgers is delicious and tempting. The only downside is the space inside, which can be too loud for my taste when the place is full. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Very good, the cook and service were fantastic.
A real contender for a restaurant on Olympus (Zeus thanks 😉)

11/11/2025: It's true that it's difficult to eat badly in Bologna, but here it's impossible. With just a few dishes on the menu, you're guaranteed seasonal, carefully prepared dishes. The tagliatelle with ragù is a must. And for dessert, if you're lucky and it's the day, a tart with homemade cherries. In the warmer months, they have a small, tastefully furnished courtyard.
11/11/2025: Excellent Bolognese trattoria. We stumbled upon it by chance and immediately found the staff very kind and friendly. The food was good: tortellini, probably handmade, with excellent broth and very tasty, delicious, and easily digestible vegetables. A good house wine, bottled, was also available, and the atmosphere was warm, pleasant, and very clean. Congratulations.

16/11/2025: The place is beautiful with a refined and relaxing atmosphere. The wines are quality and reasonably priced, and appetizers are included. The tables are quite close together, but overall, I highly recommend it, especially since it's also open on Sunday evenings.
