Lunch break en route to Bologna, and it was wonderful! From the charcuterie board with torta fritta (the beetroot one was out of this world), the highlight of the day, "Giovanna's Spalla," with its smokiness enhanced by giardiniera (fresh pickled vegetables), and especially the anolini. An explosion of flavor that is irresistible for those who love Parmesan.
A special conclusion with a sampling of desserts: sbrisolona and zabaglione, and a tartlet with lemon cream and almond flakes.
Coffee from the moka pot, just like at home, and leaving is certainly a bit of a drag, but with a happy belly, the journey will certainly be quicker.

Excellent welcome, the lady expressed warmth and friendliness upon our arrival, as if we were at home!! We started with a platter of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by torta frittata, polenta, and gorgonzola—excellent quality. We finished with excellent tortelli and lasagna. Tradition, quality, and friendliness accompanied our Sunday outing. Highly recommended!
