I loved the wine recommendation so much that I bought a bottle to take back home and they packaged it up so it would travel well in my luggage. If you are looking for traditional food in a family owned restaurant this is your place!

12/05/2025: We had an unforgettable dinner at Osteria De’ Medici. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentically Tuscan. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food… absolutely outstanding. We started with the tagliere of local cured meats and cheeses — generous and full of flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked and full of rich, homemade flavor, and the tagliata di manzo was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Italy: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served with care. To finish, the house-made mascarpone cream with chocolate crumble was light and creamy — the perfect end to a perfect meal. Everything, from the quality of the ingredients to the cozy setting, made us feel like we were experiencing true Tuscan hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area — I’d go back without hesitation!

04/05/2025: Spettacolo puro,simpatia e velocità del servizio,un menu spettacolare di toscanita al 100%. Sono uscito dall’ autostrada x una sosta e ho seguito solo il consiglio delle altre recensioni. Ho fatto benissimo….una cosa più buona del altra.

17/05/2025: Siamo voluti ritornare in questo ristorante ricordando le esperienze positive di qualche annetto fà! Mio marito ha prenotato il martedì per il sabato successivo .quindi 4 giorni prima ..Abbiamo anche chiesto se accettavano i cani visto che vive con noi un maltesino che al ristorante è buonissimo! Appena arrivati ci collocano sulla salettina alla sinistra dell' entrata. La salettina era pienissima ed eravamo veramente stretti! Altro che seratina romantica: sembrava di essere ad una mensa!. Sicuramente nelle altre due sale l'atmosfera era ben diversa ! I piatti che abbiamo scelto non eccellevano per armonia e gusto...troppo ricchi di salse e condimento. Il servizio è stato gentile, professionale e molto veloce. Rapporto qualità e prezzo nella norma. .

Each dish tells a story of tradition, with a modern touch that makes it even more special. From handmade macaroni with hare sauce, to Tuscan crostini, crostone, to cantucci served with vinsanto, each course is an explosion of flavors that celebrates fresh and genuine local products. The dishes are cooked with skill and love for tradition, but also with great attention to the quality of the ingredients. An element that makes this trattoria even more special is the hospitality of the family that runs it. Paola, the mother, and her daughter Diletta, are the true soul of Da Fagiolino. Excellent dinner, every course was prepared to perfection, from tagliolini ai dormienti to tripe alla fiorentina to livers in the net, to grilled pigeon to desserts. The service was also very good. Balanced prices. Good morning breakfast. I renew the compliments made in person.

It is located in a beautiful farmhouse dispersed in the heart of uncontaminated nature, which makes it the perfect place for those seeking tranquility and a bit of peace. We particularly appreciated the availability of gluten-free dishes, including pasta, which is always a positive surprise. The staff is very attentive, and you can see that they care a lot about the quality of the service. It was a very authentic experience, with dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. A place that exudes passion for cooking and nature, ideal for a break away from the frenzy.

03/05/2025: A corner of paradise between nature and authentic flavours A magical place surrounded by greenery, with attention to all aspects: from the external garden to the interiors which convey warmth and authenticity. The welcome was impeccable: the staff, always smiling, were extremely kind and helpful, making us feel immediately at ease. The queen of the evening was undoubtedly the Florentine: cooked to perfection, tender, tasty and served with passion. An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to savor the real Tuscany, not only at the table, but also in the human warmth and beauty of the place. We will definitely be back!

18/05/2025: A great, small, and cute restaurant. We had the daily special at lunchtime during the week. There's a lovely warmth to be felt in this small, rustic restaurant. Classic Italian dishes at a fair price.

30/04/2025: A homemade lunch with a menu of the day of infinite goodness in its simplicity, mouth-watering even if I don't have it, a dessert to cry because it ends too soon, water, a glass of wine and 2 coffees... Total cost for 2 covers ds don't believe::: €30.00 uro….. to return soon after booking a little in advance…. A week more or less….. bon appetit…???? ….

The staff member, Alex, was even more friendly and spoke Korean and made jokes, so it was even more comfortable and enjoyable. For those who don't have a set place, don't worry and just go for a meal.

In 2 abbiamo mangiato il Grande antipasto consigliato per 2 così come la grigliata mista con fiorentina, una porzione di crostini supplementari, le patate della nonna(😋), un dessert, un caffè, 2 bottiglie di acqua e mezza fiasca di chianti. Tutto il cibo genuino e gustosissimo, molto saporito che ci ha veramente soddisfatti mettendo allegria e colore sulla tavola. Un servizio rapido ma caloroso con tanta cordialità e bei sorrisi. Il prezzo più che ottimo perché di lunga al di sotto dei 100 euro per 2. Torneremo...tranquilli che torneremo🔝🔝🔝

I will always search through reviews to find the best place.. and I cannot explain how much you need to trust me that this is the best place. I don't really want fellow tourists to find it as I wish that this could stay a hidden gem, but my gosh, they deserve too. Wowowowow!! Had 20% discount with The Fork, but asked them to take it off because it was wildly deserving of the full price. Wowowow! Will come back to Pisa just to eat here again.

25/04/2025: The best restaurant in the area! The rustic but very well looked after farmhouse... the setting is delightful. The service was fast, attentive, friendly (the two brothers were really pleasant and professional). The food? Everything truly exceeded expectations....the first courses all rigorously homemade (pastry hand-rolled by the chef), the second courses are products of excellent quality and cooked with skill...phenomenal result. The bill? Very honest!!! It will be our fixed stop for our summer and winter escapes on the Amiata. Well done, well done, well done 👏
