We were at this restaurant last night, and I'm already missing it because I wish I had the same menu again.
The arrosticini were absolutely fabulous, not to mention the cod trio, generous portions for a fantastic price.

Alessandra and her family were very kind and helpful.
The rooms are clean and welcoming.
The property is strategically located for many excursions; we came here on a motorbike, but if we could visit those areas again (which I was pleasantly surprised by their beauty), I would return.
An experience worth repeating.
The cuisine is very good and generous, and they also cater to those with food intolerances.

On vacation with our three children (small, it may seem like a small detail, but it's actually an important premise). We spent the Easter holidays at this hotel. The room was spacious, with a view of the snow-capped mountains—a truly stunning view. The room was always spotlessly clean every day. Breakfast isn't a buffet, but you certainly won't leave hungry. We prefer this style because there's no waste. The restaurant menu is fresh, tasty, and traditional, with a wide selection of vegetables as side dishes, not to mention the pizza, which we loved! The staff and owners are discreet yet kind and polite. They are warmhearted people. We can only thank them for their patience and hospitality. Lastly, we thank Mimma the cat, who was our mascot during our stay at the Monte Selva hotel and restaurant.

Great restaurant, here you will find many local delicacies, I highly recommend trying one of the dishes which include cod. Good friendly service and excellent food, looking forward to the next visit.

A good hotel-restaurant on Highway 17 near Barisciano offering good value. The rooms were basic, but had everything you could need, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Recommended for visiting the tourist attractions in Abruzzo.

I was a guest for work. If I ever come to L'Aquila for a vacation, I'll definitely stay at this family-run, yet truly professionally managed hotel. The food was delicious, with a freshly baked croissant for breakfast, just the way I like it. The staff were helpful and attentive to their guests' habits. They noticed I was carefully avoiding tomatoes and dairy products and offered suitable options without a word. I thanked them and explained my slight intolerances. The RESTAURANT/PIZZERIA is spacious and attractive, with rooms that sleep three, and tidy and comfortable bathrooms. But above all these aesthetic features, I have to give it a sixth star for the cleanliness of all the rooms. Finally, there's ample parking with a large solar shelter that can accommodate five or six vans or trucks.

Recommended. We ordered three pizzas (my mother is celiac and said it was among the best she's ever eaten), and my dad ordered the cod trio, which was also very good. Kudos to the staff, too; the waitress who served us was named Sara and was very helpful and polite. A well-deserved 5 stars for the restaurant.

We've been to the restaurant a couple of times. The à la carte menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are very good. So we decided to celebrate our son's birthday here: excellent food, excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value. We'll be back, and... we will be back!
