27/07/2025: It's been a while since I've been back, but it's confirmed to be a go-to place for anyone who loves meat and good food.
Kudos to the team! Super friendly and punctual... people who convey their passion for their work, while also knowing how to have fun and make the customer feel at ease.
The ribs were amazing! I also had the chance to try an excellent Ripasso.

18/07/2025: You'd have to search long and hard for these steaks; you couldn't do better. We love steaks and try many restaurants. But Al Galo is truly outstanding. Reservations recommended. Please also read the other reviews.

09/08/2025: I've been going there first with friends and then with family for 15 years now. Always top-notch. Not the cheapest, if you like, but the quality-price ratio is exceptional. Prices are absolutely not out of line with the average, and, I repeat, considering the quality and service, they're almost affordable. Excellent in every way, highly recommended, both for friends and family. Always great, and thank you!

03/08/2025: We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Vicenza. The staff, especially the owner, are friendly and attentive. Located right next to the Palladiana Basilica, we never felt like tourists.
We had excellent meals; both the pasta (ravioli, bigoli with duck ragu) and the tuna or tagliata were excellent. The wine pairing was perfect, and the tiramisu to finish – bella l'Italia.

Afterwards, you can enjoy the view of Lake Garda from the church.
15/07/2025: The restaurant was full when we arrived, but we waited a very short time for a table. All the guests who arrived after us were seated within 10 minutes. The service was very nice, smiling and attentive, the pizza, gluten-free pasta and desserts were excellent. Pleasant and undisturbed evening atmosphere on the small square.

Dopo un paio d’anni questa sera siamo tornati e siamo rimasti delusissimi . Servizio frettoloso, hanno invertito le portate , misure a dir poco dirotte delle porzioni , due cucchiaiate ed era finita la cena , non era così …. Che peccato

The waiters are very friendly and even chatty at times.
The food is traditional Italian and top-notch, from the appetizers to the dessert.
The highlight is the tiramisu.
The prices aren't cheap, but it's worth it.
A definite recommendation!

The dishes were everything you’d expect from a fine dining experience – beautifully presented, creatively composed, and incredibly well balanced in flavor. Each course felt like a small journey through the culinary world, reflecting both precision and imagination.
