Five stars are not enough! One of the places that will remain most memorable from my holiday in Sappada. Stunning design and architecture, everything meticulously crafted. The owner's courtesy and kindness are unparalleled, and the quality and uniqueness of the dishes are truly Michelin-starred... one of a kind!

What can I say? Everything is always perfect. Beyond the food, the quality, and the culinary technique used in preparing the dishes, there's also the professionalism and kindness of everyone who works in the restaurant. Not to mention the ambiance and architecture itself, which are extraordinary. I've been frequenting this restaurant for years and I don't have a single negative memory. Let that be enough to convince anyone reading this review.

Pros: The food, the service, the atmosphere. Cons: The price in general, but a clarification about the bread (VERY GOOD) they bring you (rightfully so), but they brought more without asking, and we found it on the bill. Pictured: Pasta with chicken broth, the tongue, the view.

08/04/2026: This was our second time here, it was very good and we will come again.
06/04/2026: El Taier is a must-try for me. Today we ordered two tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (personally my favorite dish) and a meat platter. The quality of the ingredients is high. For meat, they offered pastin, chicken and beef tagliata, and chicken. As for sides, they served salad, cabbage, tomatoes, lentils, and chips. The service was courteous and fast. We spent just over €30 for two (including water, wine, coffee, and liqueurs). The selection of liqueurs at the end of the meal is very interesting; I recommend the mountain pine grappa and the blueberry grappa (a little sweeter).

31/03/2026: The restaurant was a complete surprise, absolutely amazing! In order of best: - Rice with prawn and curry sauce - Mashed potatoes - Buckwheat pasta - And a steak, but I forgot the name; it used to be wrapped in pork, but they changed it. They were fantastic; they took care of every detail you needed.
17/03/2026: We're going on April 18, 2026. I'll review it then.
