09/08/2025: La nostra visita al Ristorante Villa Velar è stata davvero piacevole. I primi piatti erano ottimi e la frittura di pesce era squisita. Il crudo di pesce risultava essere un po' troppo morbido (non sembrava fresco) e peraltro senza gusto. Il personale era gentilissimo e preparato sulle pietanze servite, il che ha reso l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. La loro conoscenza dei piatti e la disponibilità a rispondere alle domande hanno dimostrato un alto livello di professionalità. I prezzi sono medio-alti, quindi è un ristorante che si rivolge a una clientela che cerca qualità e non bada a spese. Se cercate un ristorante con piatti di pesce di alta qualità e un servizio eccellente, Villa Velar è una scelta ottima. Se siete disposti a spendere un po' di più per una esperienza culinaria di alta qualità, questo ristorante fa al caso vostro.

11/09/2025: Business lunch with colleagues, very charming location with ample parking. The inn offers excellent lunch options at more than reasonable prices. We had a creamed cod appetizer with artichokes, a chanterelle risotto split between three, and a patanegra cutlet with potatoes. Three glasses of Lugana and a bottle of Cabernet. Desserts were offered with the coffees. Total €45 per person. Excellent value! It's worth trying in the evening during the ideal season to be able to sit outside under the vaults of the Tower. Worth a stop. I'll be back as soon as I can.

10/09/2025: A charming and well-maintained location, both inside and out, with ample parking both inside and outside in front of the garden. Friendly and professional staff. Service is attentive and well-timed. Considering the prices you pay in restaurants these days, I'd say here you get what you pay for, with excellent value. The food and drink were excellent. It's worth returning. The squid ink risotto was fantastic. I was lucky to find a free table, so it's worth booking.

09/09/2025: Idyllically located on a small square in the old town—quiet yet lively. Extremely friendly service and a beautifully set table. The recommended homemade pasta was delicious! A definite recommendation!

07/09/2025: We happened to visit this restaurant one lunchtime, on the terrace... We had a great time. So much so that we made a reservation for dinner to enjoy the chef's other dishes. A pleasant discovery, with carefully crafted and inventive cuisine, a wonderful welcome, and a wide selection on the wine and beer menu. Thank you very much to the entire team! Grazie mille

17/09/2025: Phenomenal food & service. The pesto gnocchi was the best I’ve had, and the pizza was delicious too. You get focaccia on the house as well as a welcome aperitivo and limoncello as an on the house digestive after dinner. Great aperols too! Will definitely be back!

10/09/2025: Fantastic! We ate wonderfully and felt right at home thanks to the staff's informal yet perfectly friendly service. I tried a truly excellent steak tart, as well as the paccheri and dessert, a warm-hearted chocolate cake with gelato. I highly recommend it. The tiramisu was also excellent, which I love with dry biscuits.

07/09/2025: Spectacular trattoria. One of the few with a visible grill, professional, fast, and courteous staff. The Florentine steak is excellent (even Gioia, my friend Luigino's dog, a true connoisseur, appreciates the bone), and the house Malbec is very good to pair. Trio of cheeses with mustard...at my request (immediately granted by the kind and knowledgeable Antonio)...accompanied by a good Vermentino...The hot chocolate dessert is excellent...paired with a glass of excellent Recioto. (The house panna cotta with berries is also good, and the pairing with the Fregona DOCG...unmissable...I ordered it last time). Interesting appetizers, such as tagliata, but the first courses are certainly worth it too. I've finally found a place that meets my needs: quality, professionalism, and a warm atmosphere, amidst rustic furnishings and priceless aromas. Reasonable price. A wellness experience for the senses, not only for the senses, but also for the senses. I've gnawed on the bone... It's impossible to resist, faced with such excellence... etiquette gives way to primal appreciation. IMPOSSIBLE, also thanks to this experience, to entertain the mere idea or vague intention of becoming vegan or teetotal.

03/09/2025: A wonderful discovery! A restaurant in the heart of Valpolicella, convenient parking, and easy to get to. High-quality, beautifully presented dishes. An extensive wine list, with several vintage gems (we tasted a Russiz Superiore 2013 Collio Friulano, a true oenological marvel!). If available, try the duck breast: sublime! 👍🏻 The service is impeccable, from the menu presentation to the sommelier's recommendations. Reservations are highly recommended. 👍🏻

29/08/2025: An extremely positive lunch experience. The welcome, even late at night, was friendly and helpful. The first courses and desserts were very good. It would definitely be worth extending the experience to include the second courses and wine tasting.

26/08/2025: We've been to this traditional osteria several times and are always impressed. The cuisine is based on typical regional dishes, with some of the vegetables grown on site. The menu offers various meat dishes and pasta dishes. The bigoli are sensational! The wines, a good selection, are also from local vineyards. The garden is a comfortable place to sit under the canopy of a large vine. The service is friendly and attentive, and the language barrier can be bridged with English. The osteria is always busy, so reservations are definitely required.

08/09/2025: The service here is incredible. They are very nice and treat you like family the second you enter. In my opinion this is the most authentic and best Indian in the city. They have kingfisher beer, kobra, Mango lassi, they offer you Champaign when you sit down. The service is par excellence. The food is just as well. I’d be proud to be owner of this place for its taste and quality.
