07/04/2024: My wife and I ate here for dinner during a quick stop in Venice. This was one of the best, if not the best food we had during our entire month in Italy. Both food and service were amazing. Highly recommend.

06/04/2024: This would be a 2.5. The aloo tikki was awesome. So was the butter chicken. But the was about it. The garlic chicken tikka was average. The dry chicken had the chicken feeling chewy. The garlic naan was too thick. I have never had naan done badly. But guess there is always a first time! We sat outdoors. The service was okay, nothing spectacular about it. They charged a cover charge of pounds 3 per person which was on the higher side compared to most restaurants in Italy. The average is 2 pounds.

07/04/2024: Different environment from the usual Western restaurant: you immediately enter a different, evocative situation. Light fragrance, Indian music in the background, soft atmosphere. The food is very good and also the delicious desserts; for the menu just rely on the very kind waiters. Affordable price and ample parking. Recommended, especially if you are a couple for a special atmosphere.

I opted for the vegetarian menu at a truly affordable price and all in all I was satisfied both in terms of quality and quantity. The first impact with the spices present in all the dishes disorientates you a little. Typical Indian environment, both for the furnishings and for the staff. Good food. Must try again

06/04/2024: Delicious food and super fast service! The atmosphere is quite intimate and all the waiters were very kind and helpful. The menu is very broad, as far as vegetarian dishes are concerned there are many options of starters and side dishes, a little more lacking when it comes to the main courses. 'Fixed menus' are available with a choice of meat, fish, vegan and vegetarian, in which they compose the menu for you and bring you various tastings of dishes. Highly recommended!

28/03/2024: We can't understand some of the negative reviews!! Very polite and pleasant host who really runs this restaurant with all his heart and soul. The Indian food was truly a treat (we had 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian dish, and the naan bread was simply wonderfully fluffy). Unfortunately, it was only after ordering our food that we read in the menu that when choosing the meat, eggs and generally good organic and free-range quality, emphasis was placed on it... then we would have really liked to try a meat dish... We can use the restaurant So I highly recommend it, really something special here on Lido!

08/03/2024: Being an Indian who's living in Italy since quite a few years, I feel bad to say that people should avoid this restaurant. Service is pathetic. Staff is not efficient. I have had too many bad experiences with them. Once, we confirmed on the phone that they accept 'buono pasto' but when it was time to pay the bill, they refused. Once, on Valentine's day, we had booked a week in advance for 2 adults and a baby with a baby seat. When we reached there, they kept us waiting with our baby in our arms for 20 minutes to tell us later that they don't have a baby seat for us. 🙄 Can you imagine, we had to leave with our mouths open in just plain amusement at 9pm on Valentine's evening with a hungry baby. This can make you understand the level of their professionalism. Plus, their food is not even close to authentic Indian food. For that people should try Le Fontaine in Cassola.
