A lovely little restaurant on the quayside near San Marco. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The first courses are quite generous, and I really enjoyed the gnocchi with mussels and saffron.

Venice is a must-see, just 130 km from Lake Garda. A must-see in October. We had excellent weather, and Venice wasn't at all crowded. Only the return ferry times to the parking garages were very short and limited, so you should get to Venice early. The last return trip in October is at 5 p.m.

A restaurant in a small alleyway that doesn't necessarily catch the eye, but you won't be disappointed. The servers are friendly and the seafood spaghetti is delicious.

Taverna Birdland

01/03/2026: If you want to feel at home, then head to Taverna Birdland. Friendly staff, light and tasty pizzas! I recommend the appetizer with locally sourced cured meats that taste like homemade, but you'll be happy with any course. I've also been there for a business lunch at noon, and everything was very good and plentiful!
01/02/2026: I tried both the pizzeria and the restaurant, and everything was really good! The service was impeccable. I come here very often, highly recommended!

Ristorante Pizzeria Braies

15/10/2025: Friendly welcome, very high turnover, which is common in Italy. This made it less relaxing and cozy. The food and wine weren't bad. I suppose it's about what you'd expect when you're dining right on a main promenade. I've experienced a different level of service in other restaurants. The price-performance ratio is quite good.
14/10/2025: Nice restaurant - however, service seemed tired and prices were too high for the quality delivered
