03/09/2025: Adriatico Mar is a cozy and inviting wine bar in Venice with a warm, intimate atmosphere. The owner was incredibly welcoming and even made us delicious cicchetti to enjoy alongside our drinks. The personalized and friendly service made our visit feel special.

03/09/2025: We want to add that two different friend groups recommended this restaurant. The food was extremely fresh, with a very good portion size. Mind you; the pasta sizes you see in the photos below is half a portion. The starters were great, very fresh and tasty. Everything was timed perfectly, with the chance for our daughter to eat first but also for us to enjoy the started with her. The wine selection is vast and very good prices. Everything is local, from the fish, the wines and the bread. We will come back for sure!!

08/09/2025: A client took me there for dinner, and I returned two years later. What can I say? You can't find places like this, delicious food, impeccable service, and a beautiful setting. The cod in its three variations was exquisite, and overall, adding the first time... Highly recommended.

14/09/2025: Top-notch restaurant. Delicious pizzas with good, flavorful ingredients. Great atmosphere, great service, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back. You might have to wait a bit for a table, as reservations aren't possible. That speaks volumes, and it's definitely worth the wait.

12/09/2025: The place is amazing! We came about 20 minutes before closing and we were still able to eat a really great pizza (one of the best ever!!), very good coffee and amazing tiramisu witout being rushed :) The prices are very fair for the quality of food and service. The place is also very nicely desined and clean.... so clean that my husband tried to through a glass doors to the terrace and hit it 🙈 We had a great experience, amazing food and service. I highly recommend!

09/09/2025: A pleasant discovery. I celebrated my birthday at Hostaria La Cross. I especially appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, who were informed of last-minute changes to the plans and the number of guests, which would have annoyed anyone, but were instead handled with courtesy and kindness. The food was excellent, the first courses delicious and plentiful, and the lamb ribs were exceptional, perfectly cooked and delicate. The wine list offers exceptional wines at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Excellent ingredients, top-notch cuisine, and then there's the owner, always present in the dining room...she explains the dishes and conveys the emotion...not to mention her expertise in wine. For those who have never been, it's worth a try. I'll definitely be back!

26/08/2025: This is a nicely secluded little resturant that is off the beaten path. Robin, our waiter, was wonderful. The spritz bruschetta special was so delightful that we had it 2 days in a row. Lunch on the second day was also great. I reccomend as a nice break from the crowds.

26/08/2025: The food is excellent; you can choose à la carte or the daily menu with a first course, second course, and side dish. The service is friendly. We would have gladly returned if the daily menu had truly changed every day, because the quality/price ratio is truly excellent.

27/07/2025: Just off the beaten path lies the most excellent pizza I've eaten on my Italia journey so far! Excellent staff, cozy enviroment and well priced food especially for being in the centre of Venedig! Strongly recommend the Prosciutto El funghi Pizza 🍕 and I've also heard that the Creme brulee is amazing!!! They also gave us free limoncello digestivo after the food was finished, but I forgot to take a picture before I drank it.

02/09/2025: The staff is extremely kind and helpful. We saw the fresh fruit being delivered firsthand, a sign that the gelato is truly made with genuine, seasonal ingredients. At our request, they even made fresh grape gelato, because we loved it so much on our last visit. They made it especially for us, after we'd requested it every day. We highly recommend trying the seasonal fruit flavors. Also, trust the girl at the counter's recommendations: we followed her advice and were surprised by how good the flavors were. The grape and pear gelato in particular won us over: simply delicious!

02/09/2025: The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We saw with our own eyes how the fresh fruit was delivered – clear proof that the ice cream is truly made from fresh fruit. At our request, they even made extra fresh grape ice cream for us, as we had enjoyed it so much on our last visit. It's truly impressive how they went to the trouble after we asked for it every day. We definitely recommend trying the seasonal fruit ice creams. Listen to the sales assistant's recommendations – we were surprised by how delicious some flavors tasted that we might never have chosen otherwise. The grape and pear ice creams were our favorites: simply divine!
