14/11/2025: Despite the low season, by booking early, the host opened the farmhouse just for us (a group of eight). She looked after us with care and love throughout our stay. The atmosphere is familiar, meticulously maintained, and incredibly welcoming. Excellent local cuisine, all served with local wine. The set menu was so extensive that we were already full by the end of the appetizers. The price was more than fair. Highly recommended. ⛰️

29/03/2026: In response to Mr. Loiacono, who reviewed below: we were the first to arrive, shortly after 8:00 PM, apologizing for being earlier than our friends. You kindly seated us at a table and brought us water. The last to arrive were other friends of ours, a full nine minutes late compared to our reservation, which was set for 8:30 PM! As my grandfather, who also knew his father very well, used to say: "A beautiful silence was never written." I truly don't understand restaurateurs who react harshly to reviews without first checking! It shows they aren't up to the Garin name, Filippo, the legendary founder of the Maison, but also Leo, who has always been a delightful person and the soul of Courmayeur in the 1960s and 1970s.

22/12/2025: So I'll start by saying I'm deeply shocked, perhaps because I had high expectations, perhaps because of the restaurant's social and architectural ambience, perhaps because I'd read the reviews. The beetroot and pumpkin appetizer was good, but man, the main course, the chicken nugget (the second most expensive, by the way), was incredibly fatty. I've truly never eaten such a fatty dish, devoid of any crunch (I was hoping for chicken skin, but instead it was terribly moist and mushy). A cream of corn, butter, and potatoes, and bitter mushrooms—all lacking in consistency, just terribly mushy. But up to that point, it was still okay. The problem was the little bones of cartilage or something, which crunched between your teeth when you bit into the chicken. Needless to say, I couldn't finish it, and I'm not going to be disgusted by chicken. The dessert was quite good. The waiters were nice, but a little too confused and out of place for where they work. But that chicken really traumatized me, never again.

03/03/2026: Excellent cleanliness, spacious rooms, wonderful courtesy, excellent food. In the children's room the mattresses were a little soft, fantastic in ours.

14/02/2026: My boyfriend and I chose to dine here after seeing it recommended by IFP Aosta on Instagram, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The restaurant offers several pre-composed tasting menus ranging from €28 to €35, including a vegetarian option, as well as the option to order à la carte. I chose the €35 menu (4 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 second course, and 1 dessert), while my boyfriend opted for the €30 menu (3 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, and 1 dessert). A rich, balanced, and generous experience. The dishes showcase local, locally sourced ingredients: incredibly fresh, flavorful, and never boring. Each course was a true explosion of Aosta Valley, an authentic tribute to its gastronomic tradition reinterpreted with care and creativity. The ambiance also deserves special mention: the decorations and furnishings proudly showcase the region, celebrating the "reine," the iconic bovine queens so dear to the Aosta Valley culture. Agriturismo La Reina is undoubtedly one of the best places I've had the pleasure of experiencing in my 18 years living in the Aosta Valley. I will enthusiastically recommend it to friends and family. Méssi por tot, a l’é stâ na vera festa por lo palâ!

02/04/2026: It was a lovely surprise, just outside the Aosta tunnel entering Italy, with so many kind, smiling people offering a perfect break, and so many options of all kinds... Okay... The last useful vending machine before the tunnel to Switzerland, with the war in Iran, finding €1,709 was a treasure, open on Sundays, a full coffee, and a smile from the always very kind girls at the place.

25/03/2026: It's now a regular stop on the way to and from Switzerland. Excellent food, friendly staff, and fair prices. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: I can't say whether they've changed management or not, but I know for sure that I haven't found anything that matches the positive comments I've read about this restaurant. The service is basic (practically nonexistent), the food is mediocre, with some dishes being good but others awful (both an appetizer and the venison tagliatelle I had were clearly defrosted, and the meat had a strong, unpleasant flavor). Not recommended. On the other hand, I recommend the bathrooms, which are nice and clean. It's a great place for a quick coffee.
