05/10/2025: The food is good, no complaints there. But a platter for two with a dozen slices of cured meat, four (in number) pieces of cheese, two soups and two plates of pasta with sauce for the kids, half a glass of wine (€18)... total €100. I got up still a little hungry. This isn't a restaurant, which is supposed to cater; it's a rip-off. Goodbye.

29/09/2025: I visited this little place in late August, and I have to say it was delicious! I had polenta concia with butter and fontina cheese: a typical Aosta Valley dish only for those with strong stomachs and true connoisseurs! They bring bread and breadsticks so you can dip it in and enjoy. You absolutely must try the "Crema di Cogne," a sort of chocolate pudding, creamier than usual, served with homemade biscuits. What can I say? Attentive and friendly service, excellent value for money... I'll be back!

14/09/2025: The taste of traditional trattorias of yesteryear. Very good traditional dishes, excellent service, and reasonable prices. It's the only restaurant we've returned to, despite the distance from our base.

12/09/2025: This trattoria is definitely worth a visit. The owner was very welcoming, and the food was simple but fantastic and incredibly filling. We ordered an appetizer, and they brought us some pork legs to start, and we were already almost full. Next up was tagliatelle with fresh truffle and grilled vegetables (I skipped the meat because I didn't fancy it), water, coffee, and liqueurs. We paid very little for the generous portions and delicious food.

05/09/2025: It was wonderful to eat those burgers and fries. Definitely a must-try if you're in Aosta. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is very clean (including the bathrooms). I absolutely recommend it. I went with my family and had a great time.

04/09/2025: This restaurant has a small dining room on the ground floor and a larger one in the basement. Reservations are recommended, and the selection of carefully crafted sandwiches and top-quality products, as is the beer, is excellent.

03/10/2025: You eat well while spending the right amount considering the magnificent location.

18/08/2025: We dined at La Clotze and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is meticulously maintained, with great respect for tradition, and the service was attentive and top-notch. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent: we started with a mocetta and lardo appetizer, and I must say I've never tasted such delicious lardo. This was followed by an exquisite venison steak, and for a sweet finish, a chocolate tart and homemade apple pie. Everything was simply impeccable.

17/10/2025: A hotel with lots of character and very friendly staff. Everything is relaxed and the service is friendly. Upon check-in (without prior booking), we were told the restaurant was closed. However, the breakfast buffet and service were world-class! I've never experienced such a lovingly prepared and extensive buffet (and that for just a few guests) (and I'm old, well-traveled, and well-traveled).

16/10/2025: I stayed with my family (wife and two children) for a long weekend at the end of August. The facilities and food were top-notch, and the staff were incredibly professional and friendly. It will be my go-to place in Courmayeur.

05/09/2025: The enchantment of Aosta Valley tradition at the foot of Mont Blanc. "La Maison de Filippo" is one of those experiences that stays in your heart. The warm and welcoming location exudes the authentic atmosphere of the Aosta Valley, while the cuisine is a triumph of authentic and refined flavors, showcasing local tradition. Each course was a discovery, accompanied by attentive, friendly, and always smiling service. From the dinner to the service, through to the enchanting setting, everything was perfect. A place that is more than just a restaurant, but a small journey into the truest Aosta Valley hospitality. We will gladly return.

02/07/2025: Lasciare lo Stefenelli desk è stato quasi traumatico, come atterrare dopo un volo indimenticabile. Non è un ristorante per tutti i giorni, ma un'esperienza da regalarsi (o da regalare!) quando si cerca qualcosa di veramente straordinario. È il tipo di posto che ti fa riconsiderare cosa sia possibile fare con il cibo, spingendo i confini del gusto verso dimensioni inesplorate. In poche parole: se siete pronti a un'avventura culinaria che vi farà toccare le stelle con la lingua, lo Stefenelli desk è la vostra prossima destinazione! Non posso che raccomandarlo con ogni fibra del mio essere. Andateci, e preparatevi al decollo!

29/08/2025: Let's start on the positive note because there will be a list of negatives later. I went with a friend and my dog. The location was nice and very quiet, but otherwise it was squalid. We asked if there was room for two and a dog. I should start by saying that I have an English pointer who doesn't even know what meanness is. He's been properly trained, and every time we eat, he sits close to my leg and doesn't move. They told us that they have two tables off to the side for dogs, away from the others, and that if they wanted to eat there, the dog had to stay still under the table. Being good and well-behaved, he sat there the whole time. Next to him, there was a rusty iron grate that protruded because it wasn't secured properly. Not to mention that there was a dog, but even a normal person could easily have touched it with their leg and hurt themselves. The food was edible, but it arrived cold and in meager portions. Two plates of pasta with sausage and a water cost €33. We'll never go back! I strongly advise against it, especially not at all polite and kind

26/08/2025: My family and I went to eat at this inn after visiting the fort and the village of Bard. Even though it was well past lunchtime, we were greeted and served very kindly. Typical dishes, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, carbonada with polenta and Valdostana cheese, house wine—all delicious. Fast service and excellent prices for the quality of the food. I recommend it.

13/10/2025: I called today to see if the restaurant was open. The immediate question was how many people it would seat. Two, so we weren't welcome for two, but we were welcome for takeout. So, what do you do after a tiring day? Eating out isn't an option, so unfortunately, takeout is the only option. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was half full, and new customers with two people were welcome. Even more bizarre, when I went inside, I was immediately asked if a table for one person was no problem. I explained during our phone call that two people weren't welcome, but takeout was. No apologies, but takeout was allowed. Strange management, who's welcome and who's not. A sour aftertaste isn't a good sign. Best, Roel.

10/10/2025: It was much much better than we expected, one of the best pasta and pizza that we eat was here. The waiter was also very friendly, the prices are not that high. 5*absolutely
