07/12/2025: Pizzeria/restaurant with a very welcoming, clean, and elegant space. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, we found a refined and very unique atmosphere with decorations hanging from the ceiling. The friendly and knowledgeable staff took care of us from the start; there was a slight misunderstanding with the starters, but once they acknowledged the mistake, they gave me a discount on the total (great professionalism, not typical of everyone). The wine list is very extensive, prices are in line with the location, and the menu is varied, with a clear indication of the use of top-quality ingredients. We ordered the mixed platter of typical cheeses and cured meats, and the highlight was their homemade amaretti jam... one word: AMAZING. The first course was excellent, and I repeat, the attention to the ingredients is evident and makes all the difference. For the second course, I had the herb-filled fillet, cooked rare to perfection and made of top-quality meat; I'd return for that alone. The total, including an appetizer, two first courses, a second course, two glasses of wine, two waters, and a coffee, came to €123, a discount later due to the service error. I highly recommend it to everyone, even pizza lovers, where I also saw the use of wagyu beef (very interesting). Perhaps the only flaw is that the menu could offer more traditional Aosta Valley dishes, but it's obviously balanced by some very sophisticated dishes. I'll definitely return if I'm passing through.

12/11/2025: I had lunch there during my vacation in Courmayeur with my family, and it's a truly beautiful and well-maintained place. Both traditional and national cuisine. The wine list is truly extensive and caters to all price points. The only downside is that the desserts, at €18, are a bit overpriced.

14/10/2025: A chalet steeped in Aosta Valley tradition and French influence, strategically located for excursions, both in the nearby Ferret and Veny valleys and in the Mont Blanc massif. A spacious and well-kept garden with garden furniture. The attentive and courteous staff are always on hand. High-end cuisine, even for the most discerning palates, is impeccable, with impeccable service. Stylish rooms are excellently managed by dedicated staff. The spa is basic but complete (a general nudity rule in the saunas would be preferable). We will certainly return for the quality and the endless opportunities the surrounding area offers, and we will recommend it to our friends. Francesca and Nicola

08/11/2025: We had a wonderful time! Mr. Fabrizio was extremely kind and welcomed us, making us feel truly at home. His attention to customer service makes all the difference. The dishes were very good, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients.

01/12/2025: I went for dinner with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time: even though we were just passing through and the customers probably wouldn't be in the area that often as they live far away, the staff welcomed us as if we were family, doing their utmost to ensure we had the best evening possible. The location is truly romantic and well-kept, the cuisine is varied and high-quality...we both absolutely recommend it!

06/09/2025: A quiet place surrounded by nature. This is my second time dining here. The food is excellent, and the waitress and owner are very kind. Polenta concia is served with various meats. Superb cold cuts.

01/10/2025: Reachable from both the Oropa sanctuary in the Biella area and the Gressoney Valley in the Aosta Valley. Starting from Coumarial, follow a path through the woods, but you can also take the farm road. The hike takes about 3 hours, even less if you're a bit fit. The refuge, practically a small hotel, is made of stone and can be glimpsed as you reach the hill above the small dam. Camouflaged and very beautiful. Super welcoming, excellent lunch with plenty of choice. A mountain setting with beautiful lakes. The circular route is interesting: Coumarial-Oropa or vice versa if there's the possibility of being accompanied and picked up by car. September 2025

16/09/2025: The refuge is located along the Alta Via 1. It stands out for its architecture and location. It is well-maintained, clean, and tidy. A beautiful and welcoming refuge. The staff and the refuge manager are passionate about their work, and hospitality is undoubtedly a strong point. The dishes served are of excellent quality and variety. The cellar is well-stocked, and you can order wine by the glass. The price includes a varied and plentiful sweet and savory breakfast, a three-course dinner, a first course and a second course with a side dish of your choice, at least three different options for each course. The portions are adequate, along with a choice of dessert, and three types of bread. Drinks are not included. A hot shower is included with no time limit. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The rooms are heated. Boots can be left outside, on a designated rack at the entrance, and several pairs of slippers are available. Absolutely flawless! Highly recommended.

09/11/2025: After a trip to Place Moulin, we stopped here for lunch. It wasn't very early, but the kitchen was open, and we were able to sample their dishes, carefully prepared and presented. Everything was delicious. The "Follia" wine recommended by the waitress was excellent. Dogs are welcome.

21/09/2025: Excellent restaurant with delicious traditional products and local Aosta Valley dishes. Friendly staff and a quaint setting.

10/11/2025: The location is embellished by the Roman excavations outside. The industrial atmosphere is reminiscent of the adjacent brewery. From the dining room, you can see the beer silos. People come here primarily for the beer. The accompanying dishes are the perfect accompaniment... here, beer is the princess!

05/09/2025: It was wonderful to eat those burgers and fries. Definitely a must-try if you're in Aosta. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is very clean (including the bathrooms). I absolutely recommend it. I went with my family and had a great time.

04/09/2025: This restaurant has a small dining room on the ground floor and a larger one in the basement. Reservations are recommended, and the selection of carefully crafted sandwiches and top-quality products, as is the beer, is excellent.

10/10/2025: I didn't like the ambiance. Everything seemed very simple, and I didn't find it cozy. The tables are very close together, so there's no privacy at all. We didn't want to have a second glass of wine there. The food is excellent, the welcome was okay, but the waitress seemed so annoyed and unfriendly, completely untypical for Italy. No please, no thank you. It's a shame. There won't be a second visit.

07/10/2025: A “local” brasserie that word has got out to the rest of that it’s worth the drive/walk up the hill to try. We were staying close by (just a 4 min walk ) and tried our luck on a weekday without a reservation … they were fully booked!!! But, they managed to find us a spot provided we were done in an hour. The service was exactly what we expected - helpful, efficient and friendly. The food probably exceeded our expectations - beautiful taste, good servings and promptly served. Cheap table wine to wash our meal down did the trick. Highly recommended but also recommend you book!

17/11/2025: Excellent place for pizza, which I absolutely recommend. The rest of the dishes aren't bad either, but a friend and I ordered two main courses that were filled with Bleu d'Aoste cheese (the menu indicated it included cheese, but not much), so if you don't like it, be sure to leave it off.

29/11/2025: I went there today for lunch, a quick stop in Gressoney. The place is simple, the owner is friendly and helpful, having arrived almost at 2 PM. The food was excellent; we had polenta with venison (so tender!), tagliata (spectacular), maltagliati (a large portion), pumpkin risotto, and a fragrant toma cheese... in short, everything was truly excellent. Prices are a little high, but it's a tourist destination, and the quality was excellent! I'll be back!!! 💪🏻❤️
