I migliori ristoranti in Valle d'aosta

11/08/2025: A lovely restaurant in the center of Aosta, certainly much better than many others. The local ingredients are truly excellent. But a fish menu is definitely not... Perhaps too much creates certain flaws in the dining room service, or perhaps the August 11th weather is making itself felt, I don't know. We could have had a better experience, but the food was worse. Recommended.

02/07/2025: Lasciare lo Stefenelli desk è stato quasi traumatico, come atterrare dopo un volo indimenticabile. Non è un ristorante per tutti i giorni, ma un'esperienza da regalarsi (o da regalare!) quando si cerca qualcosa di veramente straordinario. È il tipo di posto che ti fa riconsiderare cosa sia possibile fare con il cibo, spingendo i confini del gusto verso dimensioni inesplorate. In poche parole: se siete pronti a un'avventura culinaria che vi farà toccare le stelle con la lingua, lo Stefenelli desk è la vostra prossima destinazione! Non posso che raccomandarlo con ogni fibra del mio essere. Andateci, e preparatevi al decollo!

03/08/2025: I always hate to give negative reviews because the people who work there deserve respect. Today I found the atmosphere pleasant and the staff courteous, but the food wasn't up to par. We ordered two dishes of polenta with wild boar and one of polenta with porcini mushrooms. My son and I (we ordered the wild boar) both had difficulty digesting and a slight hint of acidity. Nothing to complain about the mushrooms. Nothing serious, but still unpleasant. There are many other options on the menu; perhaps we'll give the other recipes a second chance.

02/08/2025: The restaurant is worth a visit, and the selection of dishes is interesting and rich in local produce. The portions are generous and tasty, but with the restaurant half-full, the staff struggles to place the orders correctly, having to ask out loud "who ordered what" while wandering aimlessly around the tables.

29/07/2025: Zu wenig Personal, so dass man nicht zu einem 2. Glas Wein zum Hauptgang kommt oder beim Aufruf nach Olivenöl erst am Ende man dies erhält. Die Tagliatelle mit funghi porcini fresci waren im Geschmack nicht als Steinpilze erkennbar gewesen. Der Insalata mit Pfirsich, Walnussöl und Buratta war ein kreativer Versuch aber in keinerweise empfehlenswert zu essen. Man gewinnt den Eindruck

08/08/2025: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant, a 10-minute walk from the campsite. We are two families with children (10 in total). The service was friendly and helpful, and the owners were attentive. Excellent traditional food, from appetizer to dessert. Everything was superb.

08/08/2025: Just ate and very well, excellent starting and finishing point before and after ascents and descents.

15/08/2025: I choose to believe that this was a bad day for them. We arrived, after a long wait they threw us the menu without even looking to us. 15 min waiting and nothing happened…. No water, no bread, no “what do u want to order”, nothing. Any attempt to interact with the staff was ignored. We were “transparent” for the service even though we were sited in the middle of the main room. We decided to leave not before providing the feedback in a gentle manner. They chose to suggest us to go for a pizza. Rude (or sarcastic) manager. Indeed we went to a pizza place right after and the service, food and ambience was the well know good Italian vibe.

13/08/2025: Thank Mom and Dad for keeping the tradition of warm hospitality, service, and friendliness alive. The food doesn't live up to expectations and, unfortunately, is rather ordinary in quality and preparation.

10/08/2025: There were four of us: some very good dishes. Some things to keep in mind: poor organization (is the family-run business partly to blame?); the Valdostan soup here is prepared without cabbage. I ordered a Valdostan-style rib steak: it's not specified that the size of the rib steak can vary greatly (but the price doesn't). Always ask: you risk overpaying for a dish or wasting food.
