08/06/2026: Top! Incredible place, a must-try for both adults and kids.
10/05/2026: A very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and professional. The only flaw: one of the instructors, a very handsome guy, had 10 cm of armpit hair, so much so that he was nicknamed "Liana." Liana, however, is just as nice and talented as the other instructor, Pietro.
They were open to joking and teasing and made the descent super fun.
Thanks, and see you next time (this will be my third time there).

Old Grizzly Cafe'

18/05/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance during our visit to the local castles. We were immediately greeted warmly, even though we hadn't booked, and the food was prepared in a more than reasonable amount of time. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing and offers a wonderful view.
They brought us a complimentary entrée and a small sorbet at the end of the meal, both included in the cover charge.
The asparagus tart was delicious, as were the cheese gnocchi and ravioli.
I recommend it.
17/05/2026: Nice, attractively decorated restaurant.
Staff speak French. Complimentary amuse-bouche at the beginning of the meal and a small scoop of ice cream at the end.

06/02/2026: The atmosphere is warm and old-fashioned, but that's fine. The ladies were very courteous, so we didn't order pizza, which I saw being served at other tables. We ate well and spent the right amount.

13/03/2026: We came to this part of the Aosta Valley to visit Aymavilles Castle, one of the few we hadn't seen in the Aosta Valley.
We stopped at this restaurant/pizzeria for lunch and to enjoy the beautiful view of the area; among other things, the castle is located right in front of the hotel.
Because it was a weekday, the menu was obviously limited. We ordered two pizzas (which were good), and the wait staff was welcoming, fast, and friendly.
The price was more than reasonable. The hotel has parking and also has an outdoor dining area that we'll try out this summer when we return.

23/10/2025: They also run a vacation rental. In my case, they canceled the reservation after a few months (probably because they preferred to rent it out to someone else...) and with ridiculous alternatives. Be careful!

Il Noce e La Strega

17/09/2023: Arrivare per il pranzo in questo ristorante, avventura pura! Il navigatore ci ha fatto sbagliare strada e le indicazioni effettivamente scarseggiano, anche quando abbiamo raggiunto il parcheggio. Ci sono stati di grande aiuto i padroni di casa, mandandoci le indicazioni sul cellulare. Simpatica l'accoglienza con l'asino Mirtillo libero di gironzolare!
Bellissima struttura a prevalenza pietra e un po di legno, completamente immersa nella natura. Forse ci sarebbe bisogno di curare maggiormente l'ingresso (il vetro della porta sembra rotto). Bellissimo trovarsi l'asino che praticamente vuole entrare, ma potrebbe non piacere a tutti (a noi è piaciuto comunque molto!).
Menù fisso, ma con disponibilità di cambiare, se ci sono problemi.
Davvero buoni i gnocchi di pane e il tomino, squisiti! I bambini hanno apprezzato molto i maltagliati al ragù.
Prezzo medio alto, ma la location, a parte le difficoltà per arrivare, ne vale la pena.
17/08/2023: Se cerchi relax e la natura sei nel posto giusto Tutto in pura pietra e legno ci sono qualche pecora e l'asinello che il nostro cane andava a sfrecciare c'è ogni conforto se qualcosa avevi bisogno Sara era pronta ad ogni necessità e poi vogliamo parlare del cibo Giuseppe e Sara ci hanno deliziato con piatti gourmet al mattino colazioni ricche e cariche. Insomma un accoglienza perfetta andare via da lì dopo 10 giorni è stato un dispiacere. Ritorneremo volentieri
