Posto carino fuori paese verso la Val Ferret. Ambiente molto gradevole, curato nei dettagli. Servizio amichevole e impeccabile. Bella l'idea degli scaffali da cui scegliere direttamente le bottiglie di vino (ma occhio ai prezzi). Iniziamo con due antipasti che si rivelano un po' disarmonici, soprattuto il baccala piuttosto gommoso (non c'era il rinomato salmerino); meglio l'insalata di anatra, ma occhio a cercare la senape e mescolarla, altrimenti ve la trovate in bocca tutta insieme. Proviamo allora un piatto condiviso di pasta ripena al sugo di cappone che si rivela finalmente perfetto: una delizia. Si trova anche vino al bicchiere di buona qualita, ma a 10 Euro il calice. La cucina dimostra di aver ottime potenzialita', forse noi non siamo stati cosi' fortunati con gli antipasti. Siamo comunque a Courmayeur ed i prezzi sono mediamente alti: meglio essere preparati.

And yet unassuming, friendly and easy going. The food is exquisite, the presentation is outstanding, the atmosphere is thoroughly enjoyable. We had a wonderful evening. At last something new and high quality in Courmayeur. Bravo!

Highly recommended. Two guys who love rock music have created a joint where they play with food. Very good wine list with an original way of presenting it. Needs something to make it five star. It is a place where you either like it or not. No middle way here. If you are in the area it is worth a visit

My group of five people came to L’Armadillo for lunch after taking the skyway up to Monte Bianca in late October. It was incredible - awesome vibe, great music, delicious food, perfect wine to match. The owners were wonderful and made us feel welcome. It was a highlight for us and hope I can go back.

Very nice and well-kept place, super friendly staff. Limited menu with quality raw materials, overall good dishes. Great selection of wines.
