We took two tasting menus:
Charcuterie and cheese platter with fried dumplings
Beef bourguignonne with grilled vegetables
Fondue with croutons
raclette
Boiled potatoes with sauces
Fried dumplings with Nutella were finished and the owner offered us à la carte desserts
Congratulations you were fantastic, absolutely worth trying and coming back

20/08/2024: Excellent and delicious food. But the wait and the poor management of the staff were exaggerated.
18/08/2024: I thought better given the reviews. Small environment and therefore quite noisy if there are also children... in the room there is certainly no person to help the owner, you cannot wait to be welcomed while taking orders from customers already seated. Finished dishes that are not collected unless you point it out. The products are km0 and good. But the kitchen "sinned" in preparing the vegetable flan which was cold inside, while the coffee semifreddo was still frozen. We need to organize the staff.

07/08/2024: Very expensive, the yogurt with blueberries cost 7 euros and had little fruit. When I reported it, I received an inappropriate response. The cake, however, was too crumbly, the cream was good. The environment is the Alps so top.

13/08/2024: We found it leaving the Castel de Bard and it was a success. We ate gnocchi and ravioli, accompanied by a flat focaccia. Both dishes are really good and for less than €10. The tiramisu is spectacular too.

The refuge deviates a little from the route, but it is really worth it.
Very welcoming, very nice staff and clean and tidy rooms.
A hotel with a rustic style that we would choose again!

24/08/2024: This is my place of peace and recharge from the frenzy of work and the city! The village is cared for down to every detail and the staff is always kind and courteous. You really feel at home and welcomed by a big family, Marisa, Roberto, Gemma, Luigi, Katia and Franco (from the restaurant) and then all our neighbors show us their affection and make our days here truly unforgettable! Try it to believe it! Come and spend a few days in this paradise surrounded by nature and you will no longer be able to do without it!

Assolutamente deliziosa!

30/06/2024: Very nice and welcoming tavern, we had a very good appetizer, the polenta carbonada, the polenta was tasty, while the chamois tasted like nothing at all, and then a tanning polenta, so and so.... the service was attentive and fast. ... prices a little higher, but we are in Cogne and the prices are the same as other restaurants....
28/06/2024: I went inside to look for a wine and local experience , instead I found a girl who couldn’t say a word in English and pointed a gentleman who on the side was very rude and visible annoyed by our presence
I am not sure if he called us a word in Italian as I’ve asked him to get me another bottle of wine from inside not the one standing out there

31/08/2024: After passing by for the whole month of August we had dinner last night and it was exceptional!!! I don't like photographing dishes, but in addition to having enjoyed excellent food (the venison steak was super), we must compliment the accurate presentation with attention to detail (e.g. dessert served on a mini sled) and the courtesy of the owner and the staff guys!! We will come back to visit you!!!

15/08/2024: We knew this place and we gladly returned to eat a fantastic pizza with hemp flour. It is located at the end of the central pedestrian street next to a beautiful church.
The place is old style but welcoming with kind and professional service.
They are very fast and precise. The pizza is very good. We tried the hemp dough and I must say very tasty and light, very digestible.
Excellent fried chips. I took the summer pizza with hemp dough
And an autumnal one with normal dough.

15/07/2024: Having entered almost by chance it was a pleasant surprise, everything was good and well looked after as was the place which was small but pleasant.
08/07/2024: Small restaurant with an interesting selection of local food and local, Italian and also foreign wines. Pleasant environment, in the cellar with brick vaults. Excellent dishes. Prices in line with those of the other "good" restaurants in Aosta.

06/08/2024: Visto da fuori il posto non rende. L'interno invece è accogliente, i prodotti freschi e di qualità ed personale è gentile. Consiglio tagliere misto affettati e formaggi.
16/07/2024: Ormai una tappa fissa quando transito in zona... Ottimi prodotti, in modo particolare i salumi di Saint Rhemy ovviamente, velocità e cordialità del servizio e prezzi corretti. Un plauso a tutto il personale ma in modo particolare alla titolare alla cassa che ha sempre un sorriso da dispensare.

27/08/2024: Good discovery, very good artisanal ice cream, to discover. We took advantage of our stay in the region (les arcs) to go to Italy (thuile) and discover the region and the products.
27/08/2024: Nice place and good food, but a little overrated, at least for the reputation, it seems average to me, and the pastas at 3 euros are quite expensive compared to the already expensive ones in Bologna
