09/04/2026: A fantastic experience even though it's a 2-star hotel. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, the breakfast is so generous it's worth a lunch, the food is excellent, and the staff is dedicated solely to the customer, always attentive to everything. Cinzia was immediately available from the first minute of our stay until the last.
Great staff, well done.
08/04/2026: I stayed for 3 days and was truly satisfied.
In the evening, I had dinner in the restaurant and a pizza: truly excellent, well-made, and tasty. I was also very impressed with the breakfast in the morning, especially the attention to detail and the quality of the products: everything was beautifully presented and truly enjoyable.
Another strong point is definitely the staff, always friendly, polite, and welcoming, capable of making you feel immediately at ease.
Highly recommended, I would gladly return!

30/03/2026: A tourist trap. We went there on the recommendation of Maison Bartolin (which is actually spectacular) simply because they don't do tastings on Mondays. We went in asking for a drink and a snack and to sit outside (it was 5 PM), but they put us inside while the restaurant was completely empty. Exorbitant prices, mediocre food, nothing like the real Aosta Valley, and, above all, rude waitresses. Nevertheless, other people sat outside for drinks and snacks (which we had requested), but we were told they made an exception.
Astronomical bill and zero satisfaction. Maison Bertolin forever. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!
14/03/2026: A wonderful lunch featuring traditional products. We ordered the mixed cured meats and cheese platter for two, and that alone was enough to stop us. We continued with the Valdostana cutlet and polenta concia, but had to ask for them to be packaged to take home. Perhaps a little more courtesy at the reception would be nice.

You can get an excellent breakfast as early as 6:00 a.m., which is very convenient if you have an early ski trip, as it's high season in the mountains and therefore crowded. The croissants are delicious, the juice is freshly squeezed, and the coffee is good. The place is charming and welcoming. The vending machine for pastries, water, and drinks outside is a great idea.
25/01/2026: Very good! Excellent pastries, homemade panettone, excellent meringues and biscuits. The freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious, and they have a wide selection of teas and herbal teas. There are a few tables, but they're very cozy. There are standard tables and chairs in the front, and two small, low tables in the back with sofas and soft armchairs.

31/03/2026: Wandering between Bard and Arnad, we stumbled upon this osteria.
We arrived at 2:00 PM and were greeted warmly. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We had gnocchi and venison with polenta, and the desserts were special! Thank you, and we'll be back soon with our friends.
29/03/2026: Great experience! I had the best tortelli of my life at this restaurant! I highly recommend them; they're a fantastic array of vegetables, delicious desserts, and friendly, attentive service! A quaint, welcoming place. Recommended!

06/09/2025: A truly enchanting place. We spent the whole afternoon here after lunch because the restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful meadow and several trails. You reach it after a half-hour walk (at a leisurely pace) along a truly stunning forest trail. The food is all delicious, all homemade, including the wines and grappas... a perfect way to sample a variety of traditional dishes. The fixed price for lunch is €24 per person, excluding drinks, a very reasonable price considering the many generous portions. We'll definitely be back!
26/08/2025: After a 30-minute walk, you'll find the restaurant with a beautiful lawn and centuries-old chestnut trees. An excellent lunch with friends.

We've been back several times since the first one, and even for me, a celiac, there are plenty of choices (the crepes are superb!).
It's a real shame it's about to close. The owner can no longer manage the business due to her advanced age, and she couldn't find anyone willing to take over the management.

22/08/2025: The service is interesting as sandwiches and focaccias are served at any time. Excellent beer and cocktails. Abundant and delicious food. The young, smiling, polite and fast staff are great! We will definitely come back with friends!

07/02/2025: Les aconsejo mientras llegan sus platos, comer poco de cada uno porque hay tantos platos que son servidos que no podrá comer todo lo que sirven. Vino sin límite incluido.

31/08/2024: In un giorno infrasettimanale di Agosto abbiamo pranzato qui
Dopo una piacevole passeggiata di appena 20 minuti , dopo aver passato un antico santuario , si arriva in questo posto di pace .
Lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio da li si intravede un ponte di legno , seguire l'antica mulattiera .
Il fortino é stato restaurato completamente , offre anche camere per dormire
L'accoglienza é stata ottima ( non apre prima delle 12:00 per pranzo )
Antipasti valdostani ottimi , ( forse si potrebbe aumentare le quantità , ma le materie prime erano genuine )
Abbiamo preso un primo , un piatto non proprio delle nostre zone gli spatzle con cipolla e bacon croccanti , non mi sono particolarmente piaciuti ( il piatto é risultato molto asciutto - "secco" ) , gli spatzle penso siano stati fatti da loro e quindi da apprezzarne la qualità , il piatto nel suo complesso é da migliorare o provare a condirli in altro modo in modo . Non abbiamo preso altro , ma secondo me a parte questo parere personale , i piatti offerti dal ristorante sono buoni . Bel posto Da ritornarci sicuramente .

16/08/2023: Nulla da dire sull accoglienza e la gentilezza del personale. Ma in quanto al pranzo non ci siamo trovati bene. Il tagliere con affettati e castagne misero e affettato duro ,solo il lardo era buono . Mio marito ha preso le tagliatelle che erano scotte ed il dolce con torta di carote e mandorle sembrava fatta da chi non è capace a fare torte, non aveva un buon sapore .
07/08/2023: Arriviamo che ci sono tre tavoli occupati. Locale praticamente vuoto. Attendiamo più di 40 minuti per due primi piatti, un secondo e un tagliere.
Porzioni misere. Pasta chiaramente precotta. Solo il tagliere si salva.
