14/08/2024: Fantastic tavern. It's the second time we've been back, this time last night, the first time it opened. We were at the tables covered due to the rain which was intense from 7pm to 8pm but it cooled the evening, after days of great heat, and did not ruin the start of the dinners because it stopped at the right time. The young Contrada people - we had a very cute and precise boy and girl - come by to bring you the menu and the pen, you fill it out and give it back to them, and their service is precise and very fast. Yes, he eats very well, especially meat, roasted or stewed, but our vegetarian friend was able to have the starter without liver crostini, and then had the beans, a plentiful side dish. The roast quail is very good, as are the pinched snails and the wild boar with tarragon. Excellent conclusion with Cantucci + other biscuits and vin santo.

22/06/2024: On the occasion of the Infiorata on 22 and 23 June, the Taverna del Barbacane offered exhibitors at the fair a free picnic basket (takeaway) or lunch in the tavern (for those who could) a nice menu based on a first course: pici with tomato sauce , second course: plain rollé with salad, water and bread. Exquisite in service and meal. Thanks and good work. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

27/02/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questo bar per un aperitivo veloce durante un viaggio a Gubbio, essendo un locale associato AIC. Il locale è piccolo ma ordinato, offre aperitivi, bevande calde e piatti veloci, anche senza glutine. Ottimi gli Spritz all'arancia, buono anche l'accompagnamento con salumi e patatine. Personale disponibile e gentile. Prezzi onesti e servizio veloce.

19/10/2024: Ogni volta mi spiace dare recensioni negative ma dall altra parte credo che servano per crescere , tra l altro sono una che vede il bicchiere mezzo pieno sempre , ma qui sembrava facessero le cose giusto per farle … Per preparare 2 cresce ripiene ci sono voluti 20 min abbondanti e alla fine meglio una piadina fatta a casa da me Delusa perché il posto a Gubbio merita davvero tanto.
