25/08/2023: Il rifugio ha dovuto abbandonare la vecchia sede di Forca di Presta a causa del terremoto e si trova ora a Pretare, frazione di Arquata del Tronto. Cucina del territorio. Ottime olive ascolane. Tagliatelle ai funghi e agnello scottadito eccellenti. Ottimi dolci fatti in casa. Gestione famigliare rapida e cortese. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Veramente consigliato!

20/08/2023: Siamo arrivati in questo ristorante alle 14 e 35 chiedendo se fosse stato possibile mangiare un primo piatto al volo e ci ha accolto un ragazzo gentilissimo (il proprietario?) dicendoci che la cucina era ancora aperta e che potevamo mangiare ciò che volevamo... Un benvenuto (una frittella con la lonza buonissima!) una porzione di olive ascolane ottime, un raviolo ricotta e spinaci con caciotta e tartufo e una tagliatella al tartufo entrambi deliziosi, una porzione di arrosticini teneri e saporiti e una crema catalana fatta in casa per dessert. Il conto ottimo per la qualità dei piatti. Da tornarci assolutamente!!!! Bravi bravi bravi!!!!!

13/02/2024: Ci sono stato altre volte, mangiando complessivamente bene. Qualche errore ma nulla di drammatico. Invece quest’ultima volta, dopo un buon antipasto di mare, ho scelto degli umbricelli ai porcini, in tre diverse cotture su un letto di pecorino. Piatto discreto, un po’ slegato tra i sapori, ma arricchito da una generosa manciata di funghi secchi, non messi a mollo per farli rinvenire. Insomma come sgranocchiare del sughero! L’ho segnalato al personale ma mi rassicuravano sulla commestibilità…certo, ma non così!!! Mah!

11/01/2024: Cena in occasione di una cerimonia, bello l'allestimento sui toni del bianco con tante luci a decoro, buono il buffet per l'aperitivo con stuzzichini e fritti, tutte all'altezza le pietanze servite, ottima la torta finale. Siamo stati bene.

24/08/2023: Ubicato in una zona a dir poco meravigliosa!!! Adiacente al bosco. Qui si mangia bene e si sta bene!! Consigliatissimo!!!

23/08/2023: I dont know if the problem was that we went here in summer and the regular staff was on holiday or that they are mainly a winter restaurant. We followed recommendations by locals and decided to try this restaurant. We booked in advance for our party of six and arrived in time after driving in from san giacomo. The service was absolutely terrible. We were seated at 19.55 (reservation was for 20.00) and it seemed like the waiting staff was avoiding our gaze. At 21.10 we still didnt have water or bread while the other tables seemed to be getting service. Slow service. We threatened to leave and the antipasti appeared together with the sides (roast potatoes and vegetables) and wine. At 22.00 we threatened to leave again and after a wait of 10 mins they brought in our steaks which were frankly terrible. I have never had a bad meal in umbria but I guess there is a first time for everything!

31/07/2023: Spectacular home-made and super abundant dinner: with the appetizers you can fill up if you want, exceptional deer ragout and perfectly cooked pasta, very good fricco and desserts with homemade liqueur to taste. You get up (if you can) more than satisfied. The road to get there was complicated (1.5km of dirt road uphill), but the owners proved to be super helpful in resolving the inconvenience by finding us a car rental for us who were on motorbikes. The homemade cakes and jams for breakfast are also delicious. Ideal for those seeking authenticity and peace

23/07/2023: Il posto è carino, centrale e con possibilità di mangiare all'aperto.Unica pecca è che non fanno pizza per celiaci. A mio parere un locale in centro storico che non soddisfa un criterio così importante, perde di pregio.
