09/11/2025: AD MENTULA CANIS Just finished eating at this place. Eating is a strong word. My companion had pici cacio e pepe, which were good enough if a little small in quantity, and a simple green salad (you can't go wrong with a salad). The problem arose with me: I had a cheeseburger. It was supposed to have Tuscan cheese inside, I think pecorino or rigatino... THERE WAS NO TRACE OF IT. The bread was dry and hard to bite, the meat lacking even a hint of salt, and what's worse, it was absolutely very thin. On the other hand, it was full of tomato and lettuce. I found a small smear of red sauce on top, but it was completely absorbed by the moisture-deficient bread. I almost choked on it several times. Making a sandwich shouldn't be this difficult... and yet. I've never had a worse sandwich; I left almost all of it. I didn't ask for a change because I quickly realized that was the standard anyway. It was well priced, though: 18 euros! With some fries on the side, and luckily I at least ate those. TO BE FORGOTTEN Unfortunately, this review will be of little use; these are simply tourist traps.

30/10/2025: Completely inhospitable staff. We had been looking forward to trying the gnudi for a couple days. We arrived at 6:55 in the pouring rain with our 4 year old and 10 month old. The one gentleman couldn’t have been more rude. He insisted we wait outside in the rain for 5 more minutes. This restaurant doesn’t deserve your patronage.

27/10/2025: They overcharged us for the pizza. The pizza was not that good. They brought 2 pieces of stale bread to the table in a basket. We didn’t order it. We dipped the bread in oil that was also on the table with vinegar that was there when we sat down. We got charged for putting oil on the bread. They called it antipasto and charged 5 euro. We paid it but felt scammed. It is a scam and they knew it. The bread would not have been edible without the oil. The guy at the cash is aggressive and rude. I wish I had read reviews for this place before going.

26/10/2025: Not the best experience, the man on the bar was super kind and welcoming, but we were waiting for a pizza and risotto for about 50 mins, and finally we got tired and confused, and than we checked the feedback and realized our mistake, if you value your time, just be careful, they just explain all that it is too much people,🙂 the food is good but in Italy as average. If you have no rush you may try, especially the second floor space

07/11/2025: Excellent food. Fantastic breakfast, with plenty of homemade cakes. Friendly and helpful staff.

20/11/2025: The hotel is certainly not luxurious, but it is welcoming and clean. The parking lot is large, and I was able to fit my truck in there.

12/07/2025: Ottimo per un crostone e pera pausa al fresco del bosco accanto a Gargano. Presenti anche piatti più elaborati e vendita di formaggi ed altro al suo interno. Da provare

26/04/2025: La posizione sarebbe anche buona con un bel panorama, ma il personale è veramente pessimo, la gentilezza e l’educazione non sanno neanche cosa siano. Uno dei peggiori locali in cui sia mai stato. Sconsiglio vivamente.

04/06/2025: Café frío y débil. Yogur servido en vasos de plástico sin sabor. Evita desayunar. No puedo comentar sobre otras comidas.

02/06/2025: La poca cortesia che io ho ricevuto ieri dal personale è stata quasi al limite della maleducazione. Capisco che l’1 o il 2 giugno possa esserci stata molta affluenza e che il barista potesse essere stanco/stressato ma entrare nel bar per gustare un buon caffè al bancone e dover andar via con l’amaro in bocca della rispostaccia ricevuta è stato davvero poco spiacevole.
