31/03/2025: Il locale è storico e centrale, bellissimo internamente, personale gentile e disponibile, prodotti di qualità, tavoli interni ed esterni, se la stagione lo permette, valido per una colazione ma anche per mangiare qualcosa in un contesto gradevole.

03/01/2025: Abbiamo letto le recensioni positive ma siamo rimasti delusi. Sconsigliati i crostini toscani, sono fette di pane, nemmeno tostate, con su dei sughi..da supermercato: almeno li avessero scaldati... I pici con ragù toscano privi di gusto e insipidi. Buono il cinghiale. Bella la vista dal piccolo locale. Prezzo, considerato che si definisce una trattoria e anche x il cibo ci è sembrato un po' alto.

12/11/2024: Ci siamo fermati per caso, senza aver prenotato, ovviamente abbiamo aspettato che si liberasse un tavolo, abbiamo pranzato benissimo, ottima cucina, pici buonissimi, anche i secondi ottimi, prezzi buoni, ospitalità ottima, i proprietari, tra l'altro Sardi, persone eccezionali . Ci torneremo senz'altro!

27/02/2025: The owner was friendly, but the gelato was strangely melted. I chose two flavors, but one felt bad so I just threw it away.

14/10/2024: Un almuerzo bien. Burger estaba bien. Las papas fritas rondaban entre papas saciadas y papas fritas. . Pasta no tan buena. Vino OK. Nos fuimos al menos sintiéndonos llenos!

29/03/2025: Just had lunch in this restaurant. We ordered "pici all'aglione" which was to be rejected, overcooked and the garlic seen through binoculars was with a simple tomato sauce and was also dry and cold. Every now and then we come across some rubbish. I don't recommend the place, there is better

16/11/2024: Gran experiencia en al Mangia! El restaurante está en su mejor posición, justo en frente de la torre Mangia. Ambiente agradable y elegante, camareros profesionales y platos seleccionados, con gran calidad, buena prentación y lo que más importa, buenos sabores. Vi muchas críticas negativas dadas por los turistas baratos e insípidos, sin interés en comer una buena selección de buena comida italiana, pero en su lugar buscando una comida barata en la mejor ubicación. Eso es malo y no está bien. Al Mangia merece una atención respetuosa y apreciación por traer comida de calidad en un lugar turístico. ¡Gracias! ¡Grazie!

27/10/2024: Vimos Al Mangia a su llegada a Siena y decidimos reservar. Una buena decisión, ya que cuando regresamos después de un paseo por la ciudad a las 12.30 estaba esencialmente lleno. Contrariamente a muchas críticas tuvimos un buen servicio y sin duda disfrutamos de la variada carta de vinos y menú.

04/01/2025: Pizza pessima, praticamente insipida, senza nessun sapore, probabilmente dovuto alla infima qualità degli ingredienti usati. Ciliegina sulla torta: prezzi da inchiaappetta per turisti.

29/09/2024: Servizio ottimo, prezzi un po' altini ma comunque una pizza buona, ho preso la pizza cipolla su consiglio di Pedro!!!!!

23/03/2025: School trip: we were a little worried by the negative reviews which fortunately turned out to be incorrect. It's true, the structure needs maintenance, and there have been some small inconveniences, but they were always promptly resolved by very kind and helpful staff at any time of day or night. Cleanliness has also always been guaranteed and of an excellent standard. Food not stratospheric, but always excellent and plentiful. Location very close to the main communication routes, convenient and strategic for visiting Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Val d'Elsa and Chianti. Very large and convenient parking in front of the entrance. The area is commercial, therefore not spectacular from a landscape point of view, but with many shops suitable for every need; unfortunately difficult to reach on foot due to the absence of sidewalks. So it is not a picturesque resort in the heart of Chiantishire, but an excellent solution for staying without spending too much in a point of very easy access from some of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany.

22/03/2025: I would like to give credit to this hotel which in my opinion is unfairly mistreated. We stayed for two nights and found an excellent welcome, a clean and quiet room, a spacious bathroom with all the comforts (the only flaw was the non-working hairdryer), good and varied food.

09/04/2025: Nice rest bar. This place is very nice, from the outside it looks small, but inside there are quite a few tables. The prices are a little more in line with the rest of the restaurants in the area and the food is very good. I in particular ate lasagna, and it was very delicious. Good attention. And like the vast majority of restaurants, it has a nice, clean bathroom.

20/03/2025: Bad service, the food is not delicious, they did not offer us cheese for our pasta or lasagna. They charged us an extra service for my baby who did NOT eat. I don't recommend it 👎🏼

14/03/2025: Ho dato una stella perché siamo Stati a pranzo.. premetto che ci hanno fatto sedere anche se era tardi,ma onestamente non ci andrei mai più secondo me prezzi troppo alti,2 maritozzi 1 acqua una coca cola un tiramisù 50 auro ...a mio parere troppo

01/01/2025: Una stella per non dare 0 stelle che non si può; Posto acchiappa turisti ma tralasciamo questo; Da fuori sembra bello carino e piccolo ma appena entri tutto suddiviso in vari locali. Ordinato un tagliere portato molto misero d prodotti, il gnocco fritto non ne parlo perché sennò partono insulti tutto crudo e FREDDO!!! Costo eccessivo per la qualità ma quello che mi ha sorpreso è stato il calice di rosso al mio compagno con cui ero, versato con il fondo !! Mamma mia che tragedia!!! MAI PIÙ !!!!!! Pessimo pessimo pessimo Ah sì c’era anche la porta che veniva lasciata sempre aperta e col freddo si può immaginare, il bagno inoltre tutto freddo senza riscaldamento e senza carta igienica !!! Aho Ripigliatevi siamo in Italia maremma maiala

20/03/2025: A great place for an evening out with friends! The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, perfect for spending time with friends as well as for spontaneous conversations at the bar. Service? Full professionalism combined with a smile - the girls behind the bar not only make great drinks, but also have a talent for improving your mood. Aperol for 6 euros? For this price you get not only a great drink, but also a bonus in the form of a good mood! I definitely recommend it - it's easy to drop in for one and leave... well, a few hours later.

20/03/2025: To get out of the way... we entered here as we might have entered elsewhere. The place is cool, but the atmosphere is stale. There are still brushstrokes from a better time... The housekeeper, very dry, practically doesn't even look at you. The food is not bad, but what really killed us was the table service. €5 for the service, a basket of bread with 4 slices that we didn't try, we ordered pizza and when we finished, they put the same basket on another table... 🤦🏻‍♂️

12/03/2025: Disastrous experience. We arrived at the place and it looked nice. We found some colleagues sitting and thought it was good. We are traveling in Italy and we only had a few hours in Siena. At the time of paying, neither table was allowed to pay separately. We are teenagers and it is understandable not to have enough to pay together. After more than half an hour of discussion, bad feelings and awkward moments, my colleagues at the table were allowed to pay this way, but we were not. They lied to us and told us to our faces that no one was allowed it, but in reality it was only us. When we found out we complained and their absurd excuse was that the owner decided it that way. Ok, it was because of the taxes involved, but it must be said with prior notice. In this restaurant they only want to deceive customers, period. They are false liars who take money from you. As a result, after all the time wasted in the restaurant, we have not been able to fully enjoy the Italian experience.

27/03/2025: Trappola per turisti un tagliere 40€ e alla richiesta della fattura si sono rifiutati di farla....gli è andata bene che non ho chiamato la guardia di finanza

27/03/2025: Trappola per turisti. Il signore ci aveva proposto due taglieri, alla fine abbiamo detto che era semplicemente una colazione ed abbiamo optato quindi per un tagliere piccolo. Il tagliere conteneva: tre fettine di salame al finocchio, tre di ronza, tre di capocollo e qualche fettina di pancetta. Nonché tre Fettine di formaggi. Ovviamente c’era un cestino del pane che però ci ha fatto pagare cinque euro mettendo una sorta di focaccia mischiata tra le fette di pane. Due o tre fettine anche di quella. Il cestino del pane pertanto ce lo ha fatto pagare 5€ Oltre al prezzo del tagliere. Abbiamo preso anche una bottiglietta d’acqua liscia piccola. Siamo rimasti sbalorditi quando ci ha presentato lo scontrino di 35 €. Il pane lo ha portato senza specificare che Sarebbe stato a pagamento. La dimensione del tagliere scritta sulla lavagna è fuorviante. Estremamente caro, e poco chiaro Riguardo i prezzi. I salumi sono comunque buoni, anche i formaggi. Peccato questo prezzo decisamente eccessivo e senza senso
