06/03/2025: It may be odd to post about a closed restaurant however this one is special. Our family came to Tuscany several times, last being 2010 and we have fond memories of “ La Signora” at cittino restaurant. For us, it was the most authentic food in Tuscany. Our children were little but even they remember the wonderful meals we enjoyed. Not it’s 2025 and my wife and I flew 5000 miles in hopes of enjoying one last meal at this special place. We hope the owner had a good life and knows how happy she made people. Grazie Signora!

01/06/2025: Da wir am Nachmittag essen wollten, fanden wir endlich dieses Lokal. Insgesamt war es gut, die Selbstanpreisung der Familie erfüllte die Ankündigung nicht. Nach einer Woche Toskana ist der Bogen des Angebotes erschöpft. Freundlich und schön im Garten zu sitzen. Da ist es egal, wie lange es dauert…

02/04/2025: Wonderful. New management, new name: CONTRASTI: molecular kitchen. The owner or chef Christian was very attentive, and everything was delicious, a fantastic bread and all food.! I would like to go back to try the tasting menu!

24/03/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo, però posso dire che sono stati veramente scortesi, perchè dopo aver telefonato più volte per confermare prenotazione inviato messaggi, arrivati davanti al ristorante di sabato sera alle 20:00 ristorante chiuso, ci possono essere milioni di motivi per tenere chiuso, ma obbligo avvertire le persone con la prenotazione, comportamento non accettabile, senza alcun rispetto.

04/08/2025: Fuldstændig fantastisk mad! Noget af det bedste hjemmelavet pasta, vi har fået i Italien. Så skøn, afslappende stemning og fantastisk betjening. Selvom vi havde vores 1-årige med, var der plads og overskud til det. De havde desværre kun åbent til frokost i weekenden, ellers havde vi været der flere dage i ugen!

29/07/2025: Simone and Alessio are amazing hosts and they have created a truly special place. The whole house is beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail, the rooms are great and there is also a wonderful garden to relax. If you have the chance, stay on a Saturday and join them for dinner, it's absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is great. I can't recommend this place enough and I will definitely come back.

02/08/2025: prenotazione all’ultimo minuto e dobbiamo dire massima soddisfazione per questo ristorante; cibo cucinato molto bene e il servizio è stato rapido e cortese, assolutamente consigliato!

26/07/2025: Sono stata ieri 25 luglio insieme a degli amici ma siamo rimasti al quanto delusi: accoglieza buona, pulizia in generale buona, il menù un po' meno perché i fogli dove scritto potevano essere inseriti su degli inserti che sarebbero stati più puliti e meno sgualciti, per il servizio ha lasciato un po' a desiderare perché ragazzi educati ma senza esperienza, cibo abbastanza buono presentazione buona, pecca grande che i camerieri non sapevano cosa avevano di dolci e ci hanno portato il menù, solamente che dopo 15/20 minuti non si era rivisto in circolazione nessuno, cosi ci siamo alzati e andati a pagare e fatto presente alla signorina della cassa, di questa mancanza del desser e del caffè. Prezzo per quanto è sembrato abbastanza alto, sicuramente non lo consigliamo a amici di andare.

29/07/2025: Dopo una visita all'abbazia ci fermiamo in questo ristorante proprio di fronte. Devo dire eccellente. Antipasto burrata, crudo e bruschetta. Pici all'aglione per mio marito, pasta in bianco per i bimbi, io passo direttamente al secondo. Due tagliate di controfiletto cotte secondo quanto richiesto, costine di maiale (che i bimbi hanno divorato). Contorno di patate al forno (mio figlio ha fatto il bis) e altro contorno di verdure . Prezzo adeguato alla qualità. Molto soddisfatti!

29/07/2025: All'inizio avevamo dei dubbi, visto che era l'unica soluzione vicino all'Abbazia. Invece ci siano dovuti ricredere, piatti spettacoli (pici all'aglione veramente buoni) e carne di alto livello cotta benissimo. Patate al forno saporite senza essere troppo salate. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto prendere i dolci, ma ogni piatto mangiato era di livellio

27/07/2025: Nos alojamos en Borgo di Pierre fitta, a 4 minutos a pie de este restaurante. No sabía qué esperar para ser honesto. Sin embargo IT era simplemente increíble. Ahora al día IT suele ser la comida o el Servicio lo que destaca por ser el mejor pero en esta enoteca IT fueron los dos. El servicio era amable, sonriente y muy acogedor. La comida fue hecha con amor y orgullo. Soy un chef Mi yo y yo podemos saber cuándo la comida se hace perfectamente o no. Estuvimos allí 4 veces en nuestra estancia de 10 días, y realmente queremos volver! Gracias Stefano, Carlo y dulce frente si el personal de la casa. Hasta pronto : - )

15/06/2025: El mejor lugar descubierto la semana pasada en Enoteca Nuvolari. Carlo y Stefano organizaron una cena bien hecha con chianti toscano increíble y comida recepie!

21/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante con il mio compagno e, purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata decisamente al di sotto delle aspettative. Il servizio è stato lentissimo, con attese interminabili tra una portata e l’altra, e il personale di sala si è dimostrato poco professionale e per nulla cortese. Il livello del cibo, poi, è stato sorprendentemente deludente: piatti privi di carattere, senza alcuna vera ricerca o emozione. Nulla che possa giustificare le ambizioni (o dichiarazioni) da ristorante stellato. Onestamente, non troviamo alcun motivo per consigliare questo locale. Anzi, lo sconsigliamo vivamente. Un’esperienza che non ripeteremo mai più.

19/07/2025: abbiamo sperimentato il menù di mare preparato dal nuovo chef che ci è stato riferito essere arrivato solo da pochi giorni. i piatti tutti molto equilibrati e ricchi di sensazioni , che nel mantenere i sapori di base si fondono con ingredienti a sorpresa mai esasperati nè dominanti per un connubio esperenziale perfetto. un servizio impeccabile , molto apprezzato nella assidua attenzione al commensale, resa insospettabile dalla giusta distanza ma presente nei preziosi e cordiali consigli del maitre di sala

13/04/2026: All in all, Podere Casato is excellent. We had a few difficulties upon arrival, which were due to some communication issues. We certainly should have done more research on how things work in the off-season. However, the hosts went to great lengths to meet our expectations, especially my wife's, and they succeeded. The rooms, the grounds, and the entire winery are top-notch and very authentic. We would love to return in the summer, as it must be even better then. From the second day onward, we were absolutely delighted. We and our daughter, Miriam, took everyone to heart because of the warm, family atmosphere. Upon departure, we took home some excellent wine, olive oil, and the best homemade Colomba. The Colomba was so delicious that it didn't even last two days and was highly praised by our Italian neighbors. They're still dreaming about it. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and the best during our 10-day trip to Italy. Podere Casato was the second best place we visited on our Italian tour, and we will definitely be back. This time in summer 😀.

15/07/2025: Vi fik anbefalet Pienza som udflugtmål. Vi kørte dertil og vi blev ikke skuffet. Super smuk og hyggelig sted og sikke en udsigt. Vi fandt denne lille restaurant og vi blev enig om at her skulle frokosten indtages, der var skygge. Vi valgte to forskellige traditionelle retter, begge vældig gode og velsmagende. Vi valgte en flaske hvidvin til, der var et godt udvalg af vine. Tjeneren denne eftermiddag var meget kompetent og tilstede.

12/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui due sere e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Dagli antipasti ai pici. Tutto squisito. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.
