02/06/2025: I am forced to give a low review, I ordered a salmon tartar with avocado as an appetizer and it arrived with the avocado still frozen from the freezer so much that it hurt my teeth. Immediately after I ordered the tuna steak but it was really tough. The people I was with had ordered pappardelle with wild boar ragù but the ragù was clearly not wild boar but pork/veal or mixed meat not wild boar, the octopus were also ordered but they were the frozen ones and were rubbery and the sauce completely loose. Inside the wine glass I found a hair. Prices not in line with the quality of the food, I'm sorry.

04/06/2025: Café frío y débil. Yogur servido en vasos de plástico sin sabor. Evita desayunar. No puedo comentar sobre otras comidas.

02/06/2025: La poca cortesia che io ho ricevuto ieri dal personale è stata quasi al limite della maleducazione. Capisco che l’1 o il 2 giugno possa esserci stata molta affluenza e che il barista potesse essere stanco/stressato ma entrare nel bar per gustare un buon caffè al bancone e dover andar via con l’amaro in bocca della rispostaccia ricevuta è stato davvero poco spiacevole.

15/05/2025: Very arrogant staff. I ordered chicken milanese with baked potatoes, which were microwaved. This caused parts of the food to be tough!! For Italy being the birthplace of gastronomy, I am very disappointed. I expected much better. If I ever return to the Tuscany region, I will never go to this restaurant. I could have had a Porchetta Panino!! For the same price or less.

29/04/2025: Péssimo lugar. Entrei apenas para comprar uma água e os atendentes estavam de mal humor. Por isso que está sempre vazio. Ainda bem que tomei café na Torrefazzione em frente, que é muito melhor.

15/10/2024: Un sitio con buen servicio, en plena plaza, comida rapida (no chatarra) a un costo razonable, 16 euros con agua o cafe. Mariglen y Elisa muy amables y dispuestos

02/09/2024: Het grote pluspunt is de ligging, centraler wordt het niet. Daarbij is er wel voldoende ruimte op het terras. Een typisch toeristenrestaurant maar dat is deze hele plaats. Eten gemiddeld, maar zeker niet zo matig als sommige reviews doen vermoeden. Bediening behulpzaam en prijzen vielen ons mee.

23/06/2025: Classic tourist trap. Its on good position, but Tagliatelle is not tasty at all and pizza seemed like classic frozen pizza. Avoid

18/06/2025: Avoid, move on, it's not very expensive but the quality is poor. Endless waits for mediocre pizzas!

16/06/2025: AVOID!! If I could give 0 stars I would. This is genuinely the WORST place I have visited in all of Italy. The staff are extremely rude and condescending. Especially the man at the checkout, he started shouting at us and asking if we understood English when we tried to go upstairs. We were treated as criminals, not as paying customers! The disrespect and lack of service is something I have never experienced before. This place should be SHUT DOWN. Everything is overpriced and low quality. This is the ultimate TOURIST TRAP! Ruined our entire experience of Siena. Shame that visiting a new city is ruined by rude staff who don’t know how to act. They’re lives must be completely miserable. If you don’t like tourists, work somewhere else!!

30/04/2025: Terrible coffee but nothing compared to the unpleasantness of the owner. Rude and arrogant. Terrible service and exorbitant prices. FLEE!

23/05/2025: I don't understand all the bad reviews. Delicious food, lovely ambiance, and we thought the prices were very fair. The host was very cool, chatted with us about everything under the sun, and had a good sense of humor.

20/05/2025: Very friendly host, takes great care of his guests. The food and wine were very, very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

06/06/2025: Located along the road a few steps from the free parking. The gentleman is helpful and professional. Very high prices, like a restaurant. For a takeaway cheese and cold cuts platter and a coffee I paid €27. Maybe a little too much. But apparently around here you pay a lot for local products.

12/05/2025: Don't go! Cutting board with 9 skimpy slices of cheese (excellent) 17 euros. Platter with no more than a dozen slices of various cured meats (very good) another 17 euros. 3 wedges of text cake 7 euros. A steal, even considering that you are not in a particular or interesting place. You eat at a rickety table on the sidewalk on a rather uncomfortable chair. I repeat. Turn away

25/05/2025: Da evitare assolutamente, proprietario maleducato che brontolava con un dipendente, 4 mini fettine di pane, 1 etto di affettato, 2 spritz, 2 crodini , 4 tovaglioli di carta 48,00 euro😡 andate altrove, difficilmente troverete di peggio

21/05/2025: In qualità di professionista con anni di esperienza nel settore dell’accoglienza e della ristorazione, sono rimasto profondamente deluso da questo locale. Fin dal nostro arrivo, il personale si è mostrato scortese, con un atteggiamento infastidito e totalmente privo di professionalità. Il servizio è stato lento e disorganizzato. I bagni, in uno stato igienico a dir poco imbarazzante, riflettono una totale mancanza di cura verso il cliente e verso le più basilari norme igieniche. La situazione più inaccettabile, però, riguarda la gestione del caffè: ci è stato detto che non era disponibile, nonostante fosse regolarmente presente nel menù. Poco dopo, ad altri clienti è stato servito senza problemi. Questo comportamento, oltre a essere incoerente, ci ha fatti sentire discriminati e volutamente ignorati. Un locale che tratta così i propri clienti non merita la fiducia del pubblico. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

30/10/2024: I’m very surprised at the negative comments. We stopped for a snack and had a pleasant experience. We ordered a couple of sandwiches that were very good. The wine was good too. I even had a short and pleasant conversation with the employee. Prices were fair for the location.

01/06/2025: Siamo stati attratti dalla tipica trappola per turisti. Per fortuna avevamo già cenato in altri posti a Montepulciano molto più seri e rispettosi della clientela. Parto col dire che la signora che cucinava non aveva una grande savoir-faire con gli ospiti. Abbiamo speso uno sproposito per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Pici al ragù di chianina e pici con crema di tartufo. Spoiler: la crema non era una crema ma letteralmente panna (secondo me proprio panna chef) con aggiunta di salsa tartufata che ci ha fatto pagare 15€ . Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni lei ha iniziato ad avere un atteggiamento passivo aggressivo e mi ha parlato dietro come se io non la sentissi, visto che il locale è un buco. Tra l’altro i cosiddetti pici fatti a mano secondo me li aveva presi al Conad. Ci credo poco che l’avesse fatti lei… comunque 44€ due primi e due calici. Un FURTO. Lasciate perdere. Ah tra l’altro cucina sporca. Mi sono pentita subito, può capitare.. spero che possa chiudere presto :) non metteteci piede!

16/01/2025: I'm passing through on my way home. And this is an Italian classic: There is a house-sized price displayed for a product, 2.50 for a chocolate and they charge me 3.50 for adding cream when the image of the product displayed above the bar is also with cream. "Sorry we didn't tell you before" are the excuses from the shop assistants. But it is FRAUD because the product of the displayed image is very clear. Passing people are taken advantage of with dishonest dishonesty. Bad, actually very bad!

06/06/2025: Muy mal servicio después de ser animado a entrar. Pasta era del restaurante de al lado 🤣 y la señora (propietaria) pasó todo el tiempo en su teléfono. También nos cobraron por un entrante que no pedimos. Con tantos lugares encantadores, evitaría a toda costa

29/04/2025: Pizza e fritti lontani anniluce dalle bontà napoletane. A parte questo, personale scortese (anche verso i bambini!). Ma soprattutto veri truffaldini: già in strada ti attirano con offerte allettanti (del tutto disattese), sul menù mettono un prezzo che poi non corrisponde al conto (scemi noi a non esser tornati indietro a protestare ma avevamo fretta). In più il classico “non funziona il pos” quindi pagamento solo contanti… insomma, una fregatura da evitare!
