02/02/2025: Low quality cuisine, the waiters smell of sweat and stink up the whole room, furthermore nothing ever arrives, say slow and pay a compliment. I had been there years before, to avoid in my opinion

04/01/2026: I strongly advise against it. I ordered a pizza and a fettuccine, and was served a poor-quality frozen pizza and terrible fettuccine. The place was cold.

02/10/2025: ...I stopped here!!...at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...for a short break on my way to Grosseto!!...really small facility!!...and unfortunately with only one bathroom!!...so with a bus that stops here!!...the wait to go to the bathroom is truly endless!!...if I were a man I would have taken advantage of the plants that are found nearby!!...but for a woman that is not the case!!...anyway!!...I made it!!...after the bathroom!!...I had a coffee!!...what can I say, it was really good!!...here at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...

17/12/2025: A truly awful hotel; sleeping in a military barracks is probably better. The rooms are like Pandora's boxes. You walk in and they seem clean, then you look under the bed and there are four inches of dust, just as much dust behind the TV and on the bedside tables. In the bathroom, there were hairs on the sink, mold was everywhere in the bathroom and on the shower door, and you had to climb to get to the shower head, which was almost 3 meters high. Housekeeping is terrible; the towels left on the floor to be changed were simply picked up, folded, and put back in their place—horrific. Breakfast was stale, with the same cakes that had been there for days. The only positive note was the kindness and politeness of the young man at reception. This hotel should be closed.

27/07/2025: I used to go there more often. They change staff every season, but that's normal for a place that only caters to tourism. However, this doesn't create a relationship with the customers—I repeat, it's normal for a place that only caters to tourism. The thing that bothered me most was that I always get the same drink and once I pay a price that varies, not over the years, but over the days. That's why it remains my last choice—not that an extra €1 or €2 makes a difference, but out of fairness to the customer. Peace be upon you, and carry on with the tourist.

14/10/2025: Servers are slow and just stand around talking and ignore multiple tables who are wanting to order. Drinks are more expensive and not as good as nearby restaurants. Cant recommend, waste of money and time due to slow servers

10/10/2025: The service at this place is terrible. We went for dinner because we were staying at the hotel and there weren't many options available. They served us horribly; they refused to clean the table we chose. They waited on us in a hurry, and we spent almost 80 euros on two plates of pasta and two plates of baked potatoes for four people, two wines, and some soft drinks. I don't recommend it.

04/08/2025: The restaurant has changed management since December 2024, now it is called Public wine beer & food, significantly improving the service but above all the quality of the products offered...., in fact the reviews of the new management, from December 2024 onwards are excellent, try it you will not be disappointed, Daniela will make me taste her excellent dishes, pici, tagliatelle and artisanal ravioli accompanied by excellent cured meats and exceptional wine

01/06/2025: Siamo stati attratti dalla tipica trappola per turisti. Per fortuna avevamo già cenato in altri posti a Montepulciano molto più seri e rispettosi della clientela. Parto col dire che la signora che cucinava non aveva una grande savoir-faire con gli ospiti. Abbiamo speso uno sproposito per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Pici al ragù di chianina e pici con crema di tartufo. Spoiler: la crema non era una crema ma letteralmente panna (secondo me proprio panna chef) con aggiunta di salsa tartufata che ci ha fatto pagare 15€ . Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni lei ha iniziato ad avere un atteggiamento passivo aggressivo e mi ha parlato dietro come se io non la sentissi, visto che il locale è un buco. Tra l’altro i cosiddetti pici fatti a mano secondo me li aveva presi al Conad. Ci credo poco che l’avesse fatti lei… comunque 44€ due primi e due calici. Un FURTO. Lasciate perdere. Ah tra l’altro cucina sporca. Mi sono pentita subito, può capitare.. spero che possa chiudere presto :) non metteteci piede!

22/02/2026: We came here to get a coffee and cornetto and we paid but then they didn’t get 2 euro coin because it was dirty ??? ı got it from a store too and what is the problem they created a problem and they didn’t accept and when we were choosing the cornetto she behaved all overwhelmed and didn’t behave nice ! Either do your job good or not what kind of a behavior you have !!!

17/02/2026: Great place to eat. The staff was very attentive and understanding. Since I wasn't familiar with coffee, I ordered one with milk, and they give you a lot of milk with hardly any coffee, but they changed it without any problem. The food was very good. We ordered spaghetti carbonara, ravioli al pomodoro, and a caprese salad. Water and two coffees were also included, and the total came to €36. I highly recommend it. The waitress even showed me how to order subsequent coffees. Bravo!

31/12/2025: Good service at the bar but they don't accept cards and this is not recommended

19/11/2025: coffee was ok, but they charge differently that what they say in the menu. Cappuccino at 1.70 and charged 3 euro. There are better options, dont come!

05/01/2026: For a nice 15 euros, 2 slices of bread, a piece of cheese and a piece of ham.

20/10/2025: The advertised porchetta on the outside turns out to be a mini sandwich from the day before with a bit of porchetta inside that's all fat and pepper. It's all prepared by hand and costs €6.50. A small glass of red wine from the Bag, quite tart, costs €3. To top it off, there's no receipt. It's fine to be a tourist magnet, in fact it wouldn't be, but local customers are guaranteed not to return.

02/01/2026: Avoid this place! For two weeks, we’ve visited many places and we’ve eaten from ristorante, gelaterias, tiny hole-in-a-wall bars, etc. I have to rate this place as the worst food we’ve had in Italy. Plus, the staff especially the cashier do not grasp the idea of customer service and that customers sustain their business. Anyway, I got ‘il conto’ and all the line items say BAR because their system is ancient. I’m actually upset having spent a penny and feeling punished for it.

22/12/2025: Unfortunately, the bakery where we wanted to go for lunch had just closed, so we stumbled upon this place (in a hurry, without reading the reviews). For two tiny, half-burned schiacciatas, we spent almost €20. Something like this had never happened to me in Tuscany! When asked for an explanation at the counter, they just shrugged.
