06/11/2025: The Taglierone for 2 was excellent, except for the tagliatelle with wild boar, and the ribollita was practically a minestrone. Overall, it was acceptable.

04/11/2025: very high prices for the disgusting quality of the food, I had a poor first course and saw a customer next to me who had double my portion (same first course) in the end it seems like the staff laughed at us

02/10/2025: ...I stopped here!!...at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...for a short break on my way to Grosseto!!...really small facility!!...and unfortunately with only one bathroom!!...so with a bus that stops here!!...the wait to go to the bathroom is truly endless!!...if I were a man I would have taken advantage of the plants that are found nearby!!...but for a woman that is not the case!!...anyway!!...I made it!!...after the bathroom!!...I had a coffee!!...what can I say, it was really good!!...here at Autogrill Drove Ovest!!...

18/07/2025: We ordered pizzas, which were overall average. My disappointment was the tiramisu, which literally didn't live up to its name, as it lacked biscuits: at this point, call it mascarpone cream, huh? At least the staff was courteous.

18/09/2025: Ordered pizza for a quick bite. I had low expectations, but I was surprised how good it is. I like that they’ll cut your slices based on what you want which helps you to try more kinds. I ate it elsewhere, as this area of the mall is very loud.

30/06/2025: Really good slices of pizza, good to have when taking the escalators from the old town back to the train station. Clean sitting area available and located next to the Pam supermarket to grab supplies

14/07/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (0/5 if I could) I genuinely wish I had something good to say about this place, but unfortunately, the best thing I had here was the water. The ice cream left a strange and unpleasant aftertaste that made me question the ingredients. On top of that, the employee seemed visibly unhappy—maybe the bad quality ice cream is getting to them too. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. Definitely not coming back.

27/07/2025: Apart from its prime location this place is just a tourist trap. No italian person working there. We had three different plates of pasta and they were tasteless. The tartufo in one plate was like eating a chewing gum. Totally disappointed! Will never go there another time.

23/07/2025: You can tell a lot about an establishment by their restroom. Unfortunately, we had already ordered when I saw the filth and stench. Our steak was pure fat, and the Tuscan soup was all bread. I asked for a box to take the food to our hotel because I felt bad wasting it, and the Romanian manager said it’s not possible. She was awful and rude. I’m only giving 2 stars because our Moroccan waiter was wonderful. There are so many wonderful real Italian restaurants in the Piazza, avoid this one!

14/10/2025: Servers are slow and just stand around talking and ignore multiple tables who are wanting to order. Drinks are more expensive and not as good as nearby restaurants. Cant recommend, waste of money and time due to slow servers

10/10/2025: The service at this place is terrible. We went for dinner because we were staying at the hotel and there weren't many options available. They served us horribly; they refused to clean the table we chose. They waited on us in a hurry, and we spent almost 80 euros on two plates of pasta and two plates of baked potatoes for four people, two wines, and some soft drinks. I don't recommend it.

11/12/2025: I went there with a group of friends... The interior is pleasant and has a good atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and the food was really good. Plus, the price didn't seem excessive, especially considering the location! Both inside and outside seating offer a beautiful view of the square... At least from my experience, I'd recommend it. 👍🏻

23/11/2025: The restaurant is strategically located overlooking Piazza del Campo. The staff is friendly and professional. It's a shame the food is so poor.

04/08/2025: The restaurant has changed management since December 2024, now it is called Public wine beer & food, significantly improving the service but above all the quality of the products offered...., in fact the reviews of the new management, from December 2024 onwards are excellent, try it you will not be disappointed, Daniela will make me taste her excellent dishes, pici, tagliatelle and artisanal ravioli accompanied by excellent cured meats and exceptional wine

01/06/2025: Siamo stati attratti dalla tipica trappola per turisti. Per fortuna avevamo già cenato in altri posti a Montepulciano molto più seri e rispettosi della clientela. Parto col dire che la signora che cucinava non aveva una grande savoir-faire con gli ospiti. Abbiamo speso uno sproposito per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Pici al ragù di chianina e pici con crema di tartufo. Spoiler: la crema non era una crema ma letteralmente panna (secondo me proprio panna chef) con aggiunta di salsa tartufata che ci ha fatto pagare 15€ . Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni lei ha iniziato ad avere un atteggiamento passivo aggressivo e mi ha parlato dietro come se io non la sentissi, visto che il locale è un buco. Tra l’altro i cosiddetti pici fatti a mano secondo me li aveva presi al Conad. Ci credo poco che l’avesse fatti lei… comunque 44€ due primi e due calici. Un FURTO. Lasciate perdere. Ah tra l’altro cucina sporca. Mi sono pentita subito, può capitare.. spero che possa chiudere presto :) non metteteci piede!

However, this doesn't create a relationship with the customers—I repeat, it's normal for a place that only caters to tourism. The thing that bothered me most was that I always get the same drink and once I pay a price that varies, not over the years, but over the days. That's why it remains my last choice—not that an extra €1 or €2 makes a difference, but out of fairness to the customer. Peace be upon you, and carry on with the tourist.

04/08/2025: assegno "2 pallini" solo perché la terrazza merita.. Il Resto da evitare chiediamo 1 fiorentina, questa arriva e si presenta anche bene come cottura ( cottura al sangue) arriva il momento di tagliarla ed assaggiarla... immangiabile, la carne nonostante che fosse al sangue era stopposa non si riusciva a letteralmente a mangiarla. Avvisiamo la cameriera che ci risponde "non dovete dirlo a me ma dovete dirlo dentro" Non ci siamo proprio... un posto con delle potenzialità sprecato in questo modo rapporto qualità/prezzo : pessimo

21/07/2025: Posto molto turistico, cibo caro e di scarsa qualità, la fiorentina era immangiabile (dura e piena di nervi), è stato fatto presente alla signora che ci ha servito ma al momento del conto abbiamo pagato prezzo pieno, di sicuro non ci torneremo. Sconsigliato.

19/11/2025: coffee was ok, but they charge differently that what they say in the menu. Cappuccino at 1.70 and charged 3 euro. There are better options, dont come!

20/10/2025: The advertised porchetta on the outside turns out to be a mini sandwich from the day before with a bit of porchetta inside that's all fat and pepper. It's all prepared by hand and costs €6.50. A small glass of red wine from the Bag, quite tart, costs €3. To top it off, there's no receipt. It's fine to be a tourist magnet, in fact it wouldn't be, but local customers are guaranteed not to return.

16/09/2025: We arrived in San Casciano dei Bagni around 2:00 PM and, before continuing our visit, we stopped at this place. Some friends of ours had arrived shortly before and had ordered platters of cured meats and cheeses with wine: decent quality, but the bill was already disproportionate (€30 per person for four people, with two small platters and three-quarters of wine). Knowing those prices, we chose the simplest option: a porchetta sandwich. Never was a worse choice. The bread was hard, the porchetta was extremely salty, poorly cut, and with an aftertaste that left serious doubts about its freshness. The wine, however, tasted like water diluted with cardboard: undrinkable. In the end, for 15 sandwiches and 3 liters of wine, we found ourselves spending €20 each. Unacceptable. I've traveled to many villages in Italy and have rarely come across such a mockery. It's not just the high prices (which are reasonable in a tourist town), but the terrible quality of the food and the total lack of respect for the customer. My only regret is that I didn't even have the courage to take photos. An experience to forget. I absolutely do not recommend this place: a real scam for visitors.

22/11/2025: Nice little café – lots of locals but also frequent large tourist groups. Prices are okay, good bread rolls, friendly service.

16/11/2025: Small bar, quite welcoming inside. I had breakfast with a pistachio brioche which was decent. The staff was ok.
