01/05/2025: Commessa triste e sgorbutica... Ho capito che lavori il 1 di Maggio, ma non è colpa nostra. Fra un po' pagava lei i clienti per mandarli via. Atteggiamento poco adeguato per stare al pubblico... E ancora la stagione deve iniziare... Figuriamoci!!!! Ore 19:00 volevo fare cena col gelato, mi è andato di traverso... Migliorate le brioches 💪💪💪

25/08/2025: We discovered this restaurant by chance a few years ago, and since then, whenever we can in Tuscany, we try to make the most of the opportunity to stop by. Excellent food, with attention to detail and top-quality ingredients. Mrs. Francoise is always friendly and prepares unmissable desserts.

05/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene: si poteva apprezzare la qualità dei prodotti e la cura nel prepararli; le porzioni giuste e calibrate. Consigliati i pici! Purtroppo non possiamo dare cinque stelle a causa della freddezza (o maleducazione) con cui siamo stati accolti e che ha contraddistinto il servizio di tutta la serata. Se il cibo ci avrebbe spinto a ritornare e consigliare, il servizio non ce lo farà fare. Peccato

04/08/2025: Ondanks de drukte en een vol restaurant, hadden wij heel snel ons drinken eten, ... Heel lekker eten, vriendelijke bediening, ... Een aanrader en ook nog in een heel mooi, charmant dorpje.

28/07/2025: Esperienza davvero piacevole! Ho mangiato benissimo in questo ristorante: piatti curati, ingredienti freschi e sapori autentici. Il personale è stato cordiale e attento, l’ambiente accogliente e pulito. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a chi cerca qualità e ospitalità. Il ragazzo napoletano e stato davvero cordiale e attento! Complimenti!

26/07/2025: Servicio súper bueno, amable y relajado. Menú degustación de 5 platos con tamaño perfectamente equilibrado de los platos (a muy buen precio) y maridajes de vinos que eran realmente spot - on. (¡Y somos exigentes!) Hermoso entorno - no se pierda!

04/11/2025: Beautiful setting in an old castle convent. The plates were all excellent and creative especially the deserts. The environment was a bit too formal / tense / not relaxing for me though. Maybe language barrier. Great food but would not go back.

16/08/2025: Incredible fine dining experience. Impeccable attention to detail with the food and service. I wish I could have had 4x the fagiolini spaghetti with rosemary and bay leaf “fairy” dust. Ambiance dining amongst the 4 walls of a castle is unparalleled. Service ten stars. Wonderful final dinner to finish our time in Tuscany. Enjoy every moment created amongst the Tuscan stars.

18/07/2025: Comida increíble a precios razonables. Me encantó el Carpaccio Ganso! El personal era muy amable. Sin duda volveremos a la próxima en la Toscana.

20/05/2025: Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en Fattoria San Donato! Puede ser difícil saber dónde alojarse mientras viaja con niños pequeños, pero todos aquí eran muy acogedores y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Tienen una piscina, un desayuno maravilloso, y nuestra familia se inscribió en su clase de cocina que absolutamente nos dejó boquiabiertos! Ellos eran tan grandes con nuestros hijos y fue de lejos la mejor comida que tuvimos durante nuestras tres semanas en Italia. Si alguna vez tiene la oportunidad de alojarse en Toscana, reserve en San Donato sin dudarlo!

16/05/2025: Esta ubicación de la bodega es maravillosa, nos detuvimos a través de un grupo turístico para disfrutar de una cata de vinos y almuerzo. La experiencia fue muy agradable. La familia era muy acogedor. También ofrecen habitaciones para estancias en caso de que le parezca bien. La tienda de vinos ofrece envío de vuelta al estado, que es muy apreciado.

26/08/2025: We stayed three nights at the Relais Della Rovere and had dinner one evening at this restaurant. The setting within the hotel is very pleasant, especially on the terrace in the summer evenings, but the quality of the dishes isn't always up to scratch, leading to disappointment given the price. The beef tartare was very good, but it lacked a bit of seasoning. The truffle pasta was good, but you could tell it wasn't homemade and was in a bath with a bit too much butter. The gnocchi were quite good, but the pesto was definitely not homemade and lacked a bit of flavor. The wine list is extensive, but almost no bottles were under €45. We finished with a pecorino platter to share for fear of being disappointed with the desserts. The platter was quite generous with cheeses, but we're still looking for the accompaniments mentioned on the menu. In short, for a meal costing over €60 per person, we were generally disappointed. I recommend the hotel, but unless you really don't want to leave the hotel, skip the restaurant! I'll end on a positive note: the service was friendly and welcoming.

06/03/2025: It may be odd to post about a closed restaurant however this one is special. Our family came to Tuscany several times, last being 2010 and we have fond memories of “ La Signora” at cittino restaurant. For us, it was the most authentic food in Tuscany. Our children were little but even they remember the wonderful meals we enjoyed. Not it’s 2025 and my wife and I flew 5000 miles in hopes of enjoying one last meal at this special place. We hope the owner had a good life and knows how happy she made people. Grazie Signora!

01/06/2025: Da wir am Nachmittag essen wollten, fanden wir endlich dieses Lokal. Insgesamt war es gut, die Selbstanpreisung der Familie erfüllte die Ankündigung nicht. Nach einer Woche Toskana ist der Bogen des Angebotes erschöpft. Freundlich und schön im Garten zu sitzen. Da ist es egal, wie lange es dauert…

29/07/2025: Simone and Alessio are amazing hosts and they have created a truly special place. The whole house is beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail, the rooms are great and there is also a wonderful garden to relax. If you have the chance, stay on a Saturday and join them for dinner, it's absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is great. I can't recommend this place enough and I will definitely come back.

03/06/2025: Everything is very intimate and clean, with furnishings that perfectly reflect the splendid personalities of those who run it.
