Frankly, the Florentine steak I ate, though cooked to perfection, was the worst I've ever eaten, and the bill was definitely not right. Next time I'm in Siena, I'll definitely know where not to eat.

We have chosen this place driven by intuition and a very cute look of the place. Atmosphere is really nice and welcoming - a true small Italian trattoria, with warm family vibe. Pici cacio e Pepe's cream was a bit too liquid for the taste of my Italian husband, meanwhile the grilled calamari were the worst Ive ever tried, burnt and overcooked. Also, the plate was very small for the price we paid. Overall, ok experience but careful with what you order. Ps: I understand that ordering seafood in Siena was in general a risky choice, since the local cuisine is mostly about meat. However, if you are not able to cook it well, better don't serve it.

Delicious lasagna and house wine! A very generous portion of calamari and an exquisite tiramisu. Excellent service from the owners and a reasonable price. We would definitely return!

We were a group of 11 and had agreed on a menu in advance. We had a delicious meal and drank tasty house wine. Very beautiful location in the city center. Definitely worth a visit when visiting Siena.

A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, very quiet. Excellent food at a fair price for a centrally located trattoria. Very friendly staff. Homemade dishes full of flavor.

RISTORANTE LA CAMPANELLA

26/11/2025: I ordered spaghetti with clams (delicious). For my main course, the mixed fried calamari and shrimp (superb). The owner is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very refined. Prices are reasonable. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food. I'll gladly return.
04/11/2025: We stopped yesterday while passing through, searching online for a place to eat off the highway, and it appealed to us given the reviews. Very convenient right off the highway. The place is clean and welcoming, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. We had three types of pici with different toppings, each better than the last... the fried fish was dry and crispy... the fish was very fresh... and the homemade desserts were TOP (we had the caprese and tiramisu). Compliments to the very welcoming owner and the waiter, a young and very polite man. We will definitely be back when we pass by there. CONGRATULATIONS!!
