The pici were delicious, but the gnocchi dish wasn't so good today. Also, the waiter wasn't very friendly. He felt rushed; even turning away and leaving while I was speaking was rude. The location itself, however, is very charming.

Excellent personal experience. A timeless atmosphere, where you're happy to enter, look up, and dive into a past that reminds you a little of your grandparents' house. A warm, welcoming atmosphere... where you feel at home. The friendly staff; being greeted with a smile makes you feel good. The food was excellent, praiseworthy. The quality of the expertly prepared ingredients, the wine excellent. I'm unfortunately from Turin, but I'll be coming to Siena often, and I'll definitely be back with my partner to try other dishes. Highly recommended. See you soon, Matilde.

Great choice if you are in Siena good quality and the staff are very helpful ! You must try to find it and not go to the touristic traps in piazza del campo

In Siena, you eat well pretty much everywhere, but I really enjoy this trattoria on Via di Camollia. When I go there, I regularly order Pici Cacio e Pepe, and sometimes I even get a second helping of Pici all'Aglione or Pici al Ragù di Chianina. Obviously, I don't eat anything else, and in the evenings, I only have an apple for dinner!

26/03/2026: La Taverna di Bibbiano is one of those places that seems to have been lifted straight from a postcard in the Sienese countryside, yet it has a touch of authenticity that's often missing from overly touristy establishments. Located between Colle di Val d'Elsa and San Gimignano, with a view of the vineyards that's worth the trip alone, the Taverna's cuisine embraces a revisited take on rural tradition. As you can see from the photos, I ordered a plate of ricotta and spinach-filled ravioli wrapped in a delicate pumpkin cream, a perfect pairing that creates an incredibly balanced contrast between sweet and savory. For my second course, a perfectly golden and crispy chicken roulade, sliced ​​to reveal the rich filling inside. The juicy chicken, flavorful sausage, and strips of candied orange peel, which add a touch of color and a citrusy aroma, are clearly visible. The dish is served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes and garnished with crunchy pistachio crumbs, creating a truly fabulous combination for the palate. In summary, Location: Enchanting, with a breathtaking view of the hills and San Gimignano. Quality: Excellent ingredients. Atmosphere: Rustic yet refined, perfect for a romantic or family dinner. Quality/Price Ratio: Fair, in line with the high quality offered. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
04/01/2026: A very beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view. Despite the weather, the staff made my birthday party wonderful!! A very well-kept venue, with a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. The waiters were professional, attentive, and helpful. The food was delicious and the kitchen was punctual. Highly recommended!

26/12/2025: We stayed in Rapolano on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, treating ourselves to a spa experience. We then discovered, surprisingly, that the real gift was booking two consecutive evenings at this Trattoria! We were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink (a rare, precious gesture) and then immediately experienced the spontaneous kindness of the dining room staff, their smiles, their attentive service, and the delicious dishes that tasted of things made with love and pleasure. We thank the owner and chef for this wellness experience on such special days of the year. After meeting her, we learned that you can be anywhere and receive any service, but the unforgettable ingredient, which changes and transforms everything, remains the human heart.
