We were here in August, and I often think back to how wonderful it was! We received so many compliments and would definitely recommend it. We'd love to come back again.

Food was excellent and the staff went above and beyond. I contacted them beforehand and they helped me decorate the table with flowers to celebrate my engagement.

Absolutely worth the drive from San Gimignano. The food is stunning and delicious, the wine is solid, and the people are kind! One of our (collective) best dinners in Italy.

unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the food, we arrived after a day of traveling and ate everything like hungry dogs. but the food was really delicious and the desserts were completely out of this world. the restaurant is expensive, but sometimes you have to pay extra for quality if you get adequate service. I highly recommend visiting for a romantic dinner.

Our first dinner in San Gimignano was a real hit: the flavors were outstanding, with so much attention to detail. A huge compliment to the chef and the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. We've already made another reservation.

Fine dining at its best. It was an absolute highlight of our holiday – fantastic food. Good wine with a very good selection. Incredibly friendly staff. For us, a highlight in the San Gimignano area.

Friendly staff but the food was overpriced and a little bit underwhelming (considering the reviews). Wine was great though and desserts also not bad. All in all not a bad experience but we would not come back here for a second time.

05/05/2026: Our hotel reserved a spot for us here. It was in one word fabulous! I really enjoyed the local food and homestyle presentation. 10/10 would eat here again.
18/03/2026: I advise you, even if you have to go a few more kilometers, you will be pleasantly happy inside.

Hotel Ristorante Apogeo

11/04/2026: Very close to the Val di Chiana toll booth, its location is convenient. The slightly retro rooms are spacious and bright. Built on an old convent, it has a spa and pool. Breakfast is decent. It has a Tuscan restaurant, which, unfortunately, I haven't tried. But from the words of those who have, it's truly top-notch. I recommend it to everyone.
11/04/2026: The hotel is a bit dated. Clean rooms. Food is okay. Service is okay. Breakfast isn't very extensive, but it's okay.
