We went here to eat because of the many very good reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Anyone who has ever eaten a proper vegan meal (e.g., in a big city) knows that this restaurant can't compete. I had an appetizer that was completely tasteless. The main course was okay, but nothing special. And for that, it was simply too expensive. Yes, they probably use high-quality ingredients, but then they need to season them better. The service was inconsistent. One waiter was overly friendly, while the other had to be reminded that we wanted the menu. If I weren't vegan, I wouldn't eat here.

We really struggled to find real veggie restaurant in this area and was happy to find out this place. BUT, unfortunately the food was not meeting our expectations. It was blend, the portions were small and pricey.
However, the service was lovely. The woman who welcomed us to the restaurant was very warm and smiling. Maybe the issue was with the dishes we ordered, which were the pesto pasta and the risotto.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a (purely plant-based) restaurant in Volterra. The food was excellent, the menu very creative yet traditional. The staff is very friendly and attentive; you feel very welcome! 🤗 The best thing was the strawberry cheesecake—simply divine!

This place is a DREAM.
During our short visit to Volterra, my partner and I had lunch and dinner at this restaurant.
We're vegan, and the experience was spectacular.
The waiter and the cook were incredibly kind, true hospitality professionals.
The food is high quality, and there's a wide variety to choose from. The prices are very reasonable.
A very positive gastronomic and personal experience.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for such excellent service. When we return to Volterra, we'll definitely be back.

It's incredible to find such a spectacular place in a town as beautiful as Volterra. Enrico is incredibly kind, and so are his colleagues (special mention to the cook who spoke Spanish, whose name I haven't mentioned).
