08/12/2025: "Il Fornetto Squalo Charlie" is the epicenter of pizza al taglio on the Argentine peninsula. More than a cliché, it's an institution... 😂 Try it and believe it.

05/10/2025: I went with a friend, there was no one there, just a girl at the bar, maybe an acquaintance. We waited an hour and got a cold hamburger sandwich, definitely disappointing, nothing special, just the name. I don't recommend it.

17/10/2025: The terrace is very pretty and quiet, the aperitif was good, however we ordered the beef tagliata and it really had a pheasant smell, never tasted meat like that, the dish was left aside and the staff informed. No feedback was given to me and barely €12 discount on the bill.

20/02/2026: I didn't like it because I ordered a plate of rigatoni with tomato sauce 🍅 that cost €6 and instead I was charged for a plate of abundant spaghetti with tomato sauce 🍅 for an amount of €10 that I didn't ask for and didn't eat, because they brought me the rigatoni, wine 🍷, Morellino, but I would have settled for the house wine that wasn't offered to me, however I was given a discount of €1.50 which feels like a real joke. Moral of the story, €30 (but it was €31.50) for a pasta with tomato sauce, a grilled chicken breast with chips, no coffee, frankly it seems a bit "too much". I didn't protest because I didn't feel like arguing, but taking advantage of a worker looking for refreshment after a hard day's work is truly sad 💔. I don't normally post negative reviews unless I'm satisfied, but I felt really cheated, and it's a shame because I would have gladly returned to try a pizza 🍕.

25/08/2025: We always return to this delightful restaurant in August; it's a regular stop during our stay in Massa. We absolutely agree with the quality of the food, the courtesy of the owner, and the very fair prices. Highly recommended 👍

18/12/2025: A restaurant from another era, located in an apartment on the first floor of a building in the village of Pari, a village well worth a visit. The dishes are excellent, but patience is required: the grill is in the (small) fireplace in one of the dining rooms, and preparation takes a while. The inability to pay by POS and/or credit card is unforgivable, unforgivable, and probably even illegal... The one star for service is due to this serious shortcoming.

08/12/2025: Time passes for everyone, and even the legendary Siro, a few years ago, handed the reins over to his son. While under the old management you could accept the lack of a menu and prices, as well as cash-only payments without a receipt, that's no longer acceptable. And even more so with the prices being much higher than in the past. And the quality of the food isn't what it used to be (except for the cold cuts and steak). I'm not saying the food is bad, especially for those who didn't come here when Siro was there. With him, it was a whole different story, a shame.

31/01/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us, and we really enjoyed it. It started with the friendly welcome, the clean and comfortable place, and finally, the truly delicious Sunday lunch. I've attached a photo. We'll gladly return.

26/11/2025: Wide selection of cakes, all delicious—try them. Wide selection of pastries, including delicious savory treats. Very welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space, including outdoor seating.

01/02/2026: Yesterday, three of us went to this restaurant for lunch because we'd heard good things about it. We ordered two tagliolini cacio e pepe with shrimp tartare, one tagliolini allo scoglio, and a fried dish. You know when you drain the pasta and leave a little water in because you're supposed to stir it in? It was like this, with a little oil, maybe a teaspoon of pecorino, and pepper? Well, basically, pasta drained badly, with oil, and overcooked to boot! The worst pasta we've ever eaten! Oh yeah, but there was a teaspoon of shrimp tartare! The fried dish wasn't bad, but nothing special. There were two shrimp, I swear two, and the rest were just calamari. The service wasn't even a smile—fast, yes, but zero courtesy! As far as we're concerned, NEVER AGAIN!

09/09/2025: A place in the center of Isola Castello, we had an aperitif and a crostone, nothing exceptional, good wine, friendly service, good music, normal prices

02/09/2025: A trendy bar on the main square of Giglio Castello. A charming location both inside and out. It's definitely not a cheap bar: Coca-Cola is €4; if you sit down for a coffee, they charge an extra 0.50 cents for table service. The decision to leave sanitary pads in the bathrooms for customers' use is noteworthy.

24/07/2025: Rispetto agli anni passati i prezzi sono purtroppo aumentati, coperto 3 euro a persona e abbiamo dovuto chiedere il pane..3 euro per una bottiglia d'acqua da un litro ci è apparso eccessivo.. poca scelta tra antipasti primi e secondi, prezzi alti e pietanze nella media.. buona la frittura di calamari (porzione risicata per 15 euro) .. lo spazio esterno è carino ma i prezzi a nostro avviso sono troppo elevati
