10/10/2025: I was initially disappointed because the inn is located on a major road, but everything else was a pleasant surprise. The very original entrance, the charming breakfast room with modern vintage furnishings, the clean and well-maintained rooms, and, last but not least, the friendliness and courtesy of the owner and the "handyman" lady... completed the experience. If I were to pass through that area, I'd definitely want to return. Also to try the restaurant, which I think is superb!

04/10/2025: I've only had dinner here, and I have to say the food is good, the service is attentive, and the staff is very friendly. The pici all'aglione were really well made, and the fillet steak was also cooked to perfection.

23/07/2025: Ingredienti di qualità ,preparati con passione e maestria . La pizza pistacchiosa è assolutamente da prendere ,così come i pici all' aglione,di una bontà infinita. Consigliamo il babamisu' per chiudere in bellezza. Il servizio onesto , familiare e ineccepibile. Prezzi onesti, torneremo sicuramente!

23/06/2025: Non sono solita lasciare recensioni, ma questo locale merita. Il personale è davvero cordiale e disponibile: Mattia, il nostro cameriere, è stato attentissimo per tutta la sera, è bello vedere tanta passione e gentilezza in ragazzi così giovani. I prezzi sono più che onesti e la qualità del cibo è ottima. Bravi tutti!

22/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance after asking around for recommendations for fresh fish and recognized the place where we had been to 4 restaurants in Borghese...what can I say? It's a lovely, well-maintained, and clean place. We had lunch there, and unfortunately, we would have liked to meet the owner to compliment us. The fish was fresh, we tried the tartare, and nothing to complain about, it was delicious. The only thing about the bill was a little high, but I was happy to pay it for the freshness of the fish. If I may say so, they were harsh with their reviews. I ate very well and will definitely be back!

15/07/2025: Posto bellissimo Cinque stelle, del cibo molto buono e anche il bere. Siamo andati via in fretta, non perché ci fosse qualcosa che non andava, ma soltanto perché i nostri cani piangevano. Bravissimi 🤩😊

19/06/2025: Restaurant atypique à découvrir avec une très bonne qualité de plats typiques toscans mais aussi d’autres régions italiennes . La patronne très accueillante et jonglant aussi bien avec l’italien que l allemand ou le français , il n’y avait pas d’anglais ce soir là … Le service est impeccable . Je recommande avec une mention particulière pour une belle découverte vinicole au travers d’un rosé d’un producteur local ( Scarlino) Le Carpiana .

09/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and were treated wonderfully and had a delicious platter. We even saw the procession and the butteri—what more could you ask for?

09/07/2025: Sale Grosso At Piazza del Mercato 12, Grosseto Good food, central location, unfortunately charged twice for a portion of pasta (accidentally or intentionally?). Unfortunately, I checked the bill too late! The meat came rare, but it was no problem to have it cooked medium again – the service was very polite. (Takliata) Picci very, very tasty. Pasta is homemade. Average price/performance ratio Tortelli excellent with ragu Vedura grigliate a bit bland

12/09/2025: We are staying at a Booking. Com nearby. This place was great food, service was attentive and personal. Love the fact it’s the Italian diner experience so no need to rush us or their service although we need wanted for anything! Love this place!!

30/09/2025: On Saturday, September 27, 2025, I visited the "Canapone" restaurant for the first time, dining practically in the heart of Grosseto's historic center. The service was truly remarkable, with a generously sized table for two and very comfortable chairs. I took the order in perfect time, and tried the "selection of cured meats" and the "paccheri alla pescatora," as well as the tagliatelle with rabbit ragù (I hadn't had hand-chopped ragù in ages, at least not because of the texture and cut of the meat). The welcome reception with homemade appetizers, simple yet delicious, was much appreciated. The price was not bad, considering I only ordered wine by the glass, not the bottle, and no main course or dessert. I will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

04/10/2025: Well, what can I say? It's definitely not a place for classic tourists who want to eat refined dishes like Nouveau Cousin, served with white gloves. Here, they focus on the essentials. If you want to try simple but good food at truly affordable prices, in complete tranquility and with excellent service... Well, this is your ideal place. Enjoy your pizza, everyone. Gli Asini Volano ancora, if you can find them...

23/08/2025: After my experience at this hotel last year, I've reluctantly decided not to vacation in Italy again. I won't even spend a weekend there. I don't question the friendliness of the staff, but the prices for a location like this are insane.

10/11/2024: Le ragazze del Fatt'ammano hanno "bissato" la piacevolissima impressione avuta qualche anno fa, una scelta di qualità ed un menù che forse potrebbe disorientare chi va in caccia dei piatti tradizionali amiatini, ma che non tradisce, anzi supera le aspettative di chi, come noi, dall'Amiata viene, ne conosce i sapori e, nella propria cucina, cerca di "trasmetterli" ad amici e ospiti. Assolutamente consigliata la prenotazione soprattutto nel periodo autunnale ed invernale, il locale, per quanto accogliente, non è grandissimo e, tutto sommato, alla fine questo diventa un vantaggio in termini di comfort acustico: anche a sala piena si riesce a conversare agevolmente a bassa voce. BRAVE !

21/09/2025: Terrible food, we paid for a set menu that included dry, tasteless, and tough baked pasta that I was afraid would break a tooth. Then they served two slices of roast beef, also dry, which I honestly don't know if they turned out that way from reheating them. A small piece of chicken and a small piece of pork chop, both raw inside. Oh, and yes, the menu listed non-existent potatoes. The waiters were kind, but I think the chef is also the owner, who was very rude. We paid a fixed price and forgot about the potatoes. He wanted to offer me coffee, but so I don't have coffee. I asked for a small piece of dessert and was told that I'll give you a €7 dessert? And he threw €10 at me on the table, which I threw back at him. Then, to top it all off, when we left, I assume the cashier had a questionable attitude, even calling us rude. I won't set foot in there again and I don't recommend it.

18/09/2025: We booked at 8:00 PM, and at 8:30 PM they took our orders. The place was busy, so we asked if they could bring food for the kids, at least. We could wait. At 9:20 PM, still nothing. We urged the waitress several times, but to no avail. The owner replied, somewhat annoyed, that the kids should be fed first. We paid for our drinks and left.
