11/11/2024: Pessima accoglienza . Maleducazione da parte del barista che si e' rifiutato di darmi 2 dita di Aperitivo ( questa era la quantita' che ci era stata data precedentemente) in quanto sbadatamente il mio bicchiere si era rovesciato sul tavolo.Premetto che era un raduno di vespisti provenienti da tutta Italia che sono rimasti basiti dalcomportamento strafottente del barista Non ci.mettero' mai più piede! Che cambi mestiere non adatto a stare al pubblico!!

17/01/2025: Con un'ubicazione perfetta (vista sul porto) da Pizz&Core portano la pizza a dei livelli di eccellenza utilizzando solo i migliori ingredienti disponibili: pomodori freschi, mozzarella appena arrivata da Napoli, impasti diversi, tre cotture (forno a legna, forno elettrico a più alta temperatura o a vapore) creano un'esperienza tri-dimensionale squisita di aspetto, gusto e olfatto eccezionale. Poi una scelta ottima di vini e birre. Posto perfetto per noi. Che classe!

04/01/2025: Il panorama è a dir poco stupendo, per non parlare poi del cibo, tutto buonissimo ed impeccabile! Servizio top e vasta scelta di dolci. Lo consiglio vivamente. Sicuramente ci ritornerò!!!!

10/03/2025: On Saturday evening I decide to try Pirata2's home delivery pizza. I booked for 8.30pm and at 8.45pm I called to find out how far along the delivery was, I was told that it was about to go out in 2 minutes and it was at my place. Ok, I'll wait, it arrives at 8.52pm, plus it gets the wrong address and goes further on, I almost didn't want to take it again. I pay, I go up and the pizza was cold, rubbery and burnt.. an experience to be erased.

15/04/2025: Piccolo ristorante VERA CHICCA , assolutamente gestito alla perfezione con attenzione, gentilezza, competenza . Semplice , senza fronzoli, ma assolutamente VERO. Il tutto che corona un menu e una qualità davvero sorprendente con pietanze tipiche buonissime e soprattutto guarnite con dettagli che fanno la differenza .. che dire, bravissimi continuate così!

28/03/2025: Portate buone con prodotti locali, personale alla mano e preparato, prezzi nella media, forse piccole le portate, specialmente il tagliere che non è assolutamente da consigliare per due persone. un pó furbetti nel conto 💴

Worthy of note are the pici with bottarga, cooked to perfection, my wife's sea bream was equally good. Average quality/price ratio. Maybe we should dedicate a little more time to cleaning...in-depth. I feel like recommending it.

16/03/2025: From the outside it looks like an old village restaurant. It turned out to be an elegant place with attentive and fast service, excellent pork fillet and fried artichokes, pappardelle with wild boar and fabulous ravioli, highly recommended

15/02/2025: Als Makler, der ital. Immobilien im Angebot hat, reise ich viel in Italien, vor allem in der Toskana. italicahomes.com. So war es auch in Scansano, Februar, so ziemlich alles zu, auf der Piazza fragten wir nach - und gingen hin. Einfach, leer zu der Zeit, Bar und Speisesal mit Blick auf das Panorama. Ich habe so ziemlich nichts erwartet. Tische, Bedienung ect -einfach. Aber das Essen. Wirklich eine Wucht. Frisch, Fleisch auf den Punkt, tolle Pomes ( das will schon was heißen!!) und Spinat dazu. Ich versuchte dann noch Tiramisu - oh ja, hier möchte ich gerne noch mal hin, wirklich!! Erwarten Sie kein Schnickschnack - aber um so bessere Hausmannskost.

06/03/2025: Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was very negative. The pappardelle with wild boar was good, but the mixed grill was a disaster: the chicken smelled distinctly rotten, the sausage was almost of the same standard and the lamb seemed old. Impossible to eat. To make matters worse, while we got up to smoke and have coffee, they completely cleared the table, even though we had left our phone and personal items there, without even asking us if we were finished. When we ordered another quarter of wine out on the terrace, we received two really dirty glasses. When we reported it, the waitress dismissed it by saying it was "the fault of the limescale in the water". Finally, the bill was €60, decidedly excessive for a first course, an inedible grill, half a liter of wine, water and coffee. A disappointing experience in every respect. We don't recommend it at all!
