02/10/2025: We arrived at the wine shop at 6:10 p.m., 10 minutes after closing time, because Google said it was still open until 7:30 p.m. The lady who welcomed us was super nice, though, and we were able to taste three wines, all of which we bought. You wish you had employees like that! She also gave a great explanation of the wines. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

30/06/2025: Great place for a quick lunch or dinner.. the fact that you can create your own sandwich gives that extra push...good quality ingredients and very kind staff...I recommend it.

16/09/2025: The pizza was delicious. However, the service wasn't great; it seemed disinterested. He did his job, but it didn't seem like he was enjoying it. I'd recommend it for the food, but not for the service.

04/10/2025: Nice place and helpful staff. Suitable for celiacs, the gluten-free pizza is highly recommended. I tried the "gourmet pizza" and really liked it. 😊

21/09/2025: Overall, a positive experience, but I still believe restaurants need to raise the bar, including in terms of decor, tablecloths, and napkins. You can't keep demanding the same level of service when you offer a diner or business lunch bar. Back to the food, we ordered two mussel appetizers and two fried calamari and shrimp dishes. Half a liter of house wine, a bottle of still water, and a dessert. Total €83.00.

26/08/2025: Given that the place was half-empty, they seated us in a damp, pungently smelling basement space, which could have been considered "typical," and we were the only table occupied. When it came time to order (taglieri, lampredotto, crostoni, etc.), we asked for two bottles of water: the owner, in an annoyed and rude tone, turned around and, as he walked away, said, "Yeah, okay, but I sell wine." At that point, we preferred to get up and leave. This kind of attitude, especially toward tourists, is the reason why certain places and businesses will die: when it's too late, perhaps they'll understand how they should have treated tourists/customers. P.S.: We ate an excellent sandwich across the street, spending a fifth of what we would have spent inside. Edit in response to the restaurant: Probably "the gentleman" told her the facts his way, and she thought it best to misrepresent the rest of the story: 1- We didn't order "2 small bottles of water," but platters (€25), lampredotto (€9.50), pappa al pomodoro (€9), crostone (€8) + 2 large bottles of water (€5) + 4 place settings (€6) (otherwise, what would have been the order you're referring to?!) 2- "Simply pointed out"?! As soon as we said "two bottles of water, please," he stopped writing the order, literally snatched the menus out of our hands, and, walking away annoyed, said, "Yeah, fine, but I sell wine." 3. Being polite people, he calmly and ironically said, "We didn't understand, you only sell wine," just to make "the gentleman" think about whether he might have been misplaced (obviously a failed attempt). 4. Regarding the calculations you made, reread point 1 and you'll understand that you were referring to the cost we would have paid with you compared to what we paid elsewhere (but then, excuse me, a garlic and oil bruschetta on the menu costs €4, and you come and tell us that the cured meat sandwich (not on the menu) costs €3?) Let me give you a piece of advice: "Even if you're no longer young, mistakes can happen; an apology would have been enough."

21/08/2025: A modern wine bar with well-appointed interiors. The exterior overlooks the pedestrianized square. The wine list is extensive and well-stocked. We had an aperitivo, so I can vouch for the excellent olives. Friendly staff, prompt service. Fair prices.

15/08/2025: A step back in time, with traditional and simple dishes. Luciana's kindness is fantastic. It feels like eating at an aunt's or grandmother's house!

21/07/2025: Great side of the road restaurant - we walked in for lunch and had a great wild boar ragu and clam pasta (that had so so many clams in it) at extremely reasonable prices!

13/09/2025: I'll just state the facts: 2 adults and 1 child. We ordered 3 fries, a basket of chicken nuggets, two 80cm bruschettas—with two tasty ones, 1 carbonara and 1 capri—two medium beers, and a bottle of water. The bill was €91.50. What we ate was undoubtedly good, but in my opinion, you got a little too big for your boots!!! PS. I was wondering why a place that was always full under the previous management was empty (we and two other tables were there for dinner). Now I understand why.

20/08/2025: Tried for home delivery and was delayed by at least 30 minutes on 2 deliveries. Tried for local pickup and was delayed by at least 15 minutes. Plus, they even made the wrong bruschetta. I won't be returning. I'm replying here since I can't reply to the owner. I didn't come by bike because I don't have one. Evidently, others are complaining too. Mine was the wrong one, since I ordered ham, mushrooms, and cheese, and I received ham, tomato, and cheese. I eat well, but if I pay for a service and I'm not satisfied with it, I'll say so; otherwise, you'll refund me. Best regards

19/08/2025: This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at Be Vedetta and we've been to the restaurant every evening. The view is incredibly beautiful, the service very attentive and polite, the wines are delicious, and the food is excellent. A big thank you to the entire staff and the chef.

09/06/2025: Restaurant with a spectacular view: it dominates all of Follonica and, on clear days, you can even see the island of Elba. The service in the dining room, entrusted to a girl, was attentive, precise and never intrusive. Let's move on to the cuisine... The prices are high compared to the quality offered. My girlfriend ordered a tuna tartare (about 60 g), a really small portion. I had the courtyard ragù, but it simply seemed like drained and washed-out pasta, lacking flavor and structure. For the second course we chose two rare fillets, but they arrived well cooked, with an almost boiled consistency. And the kitchen was not under any pressure, given that there were only two tables for two in the dining room. I struggle to understand such quality in the face of prices that start at 20 euros and up per course. We had already been here two years ago and had a much better experience: we imagine that the chef has changed in the meantime.

28/07/2025: Secondo la nostra esperienza, è il miglior ristorante del Giglio! Terrazzo panoramico meraviglioso, menù ricercato ma fedele alla tradizione con ottima ricerca e cura della materia prima. Prezzi più che onesti in base alla proposta. Complimenti anche per il servizio molto curato, professionale ma allo stesso tempo simpatico e familiare.

28/07/2025: uno dei migliori ristoranti che ho provato all'isola del giglio. Molto bella la location con una terrazza vista golfo e tramonto spettacolare. Personale molto disponibile e discreto. Servizio veloce e soprattutto ottima cucina, sia nei piatti di mare che di terra ed eccellenti dolci.

20/10/2025: My wife and I ordered two pizzas, the Canapone rossa and a Margherita with sausage and red onion. Both were excellent and very easy to digest. The lady and young woman serving us were prompt and very kind in explaining the menu and the pizza preparation method (three-day-old dough and very little added yeast). I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for well-prepared pizzas with high-quality ingredients.

14/10/2025: I'm sorry to leave a negative review because the staff was friendly, but the quality of the food was poor. I ordered the following takeout: a half cheese board, a pizza, and a dessert. The pizza dough was good, but the toppings were unimaginable: it was practically unseasoned. The pie was good, but completely burned on the bottom, as the photos show. The cheese board was very good (it's a half portion in the photo), but it could have been a little more generous. I didn't get it right, but I realized the management was new and therefore inexperienced. I wish you continued growth and improvement. (This review is from 2021.)

14/10/2025: I've been wanting to eat at this wonderful restaurant again for a while (the last time was in March), and today I managed to do so, enthusiastically involving some friends who also love this food. Disappointed by the quality, I still can't believe it. For me, it was one of the best restaurants we've been to—very disappointing.
