22/08/2024: We stayed in a camper, a huge place if you don't have a bike it's best to rent one, the pitches are spacious and shaded, the bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The only flaw is that there is nothing outside the campsite. We had already stayed there in the tent and will definitely be back.

22/08/2024: Unfortunately, my recent experience at Cieloverde campsite was deeply disappointing, so much so that I will never return and I cannot help but advise against it to others. This campsite, which was once synonymous with relaxation and fun, seems to have completely lost its luster. 1) Mosquito invasion: Compared to previous years, I have noticed a dramatic worsening in mosquito management. Disinfestations, which were once frequent and regular, are now carried out only once a month. This has led to an uncontrolled proliferation of mosquitoes, turning evenings outdoors into a real nightmare. It is impossible to enjoy an evening with friends without being attacked by these annoying insects. A detail that, for many, may seem secondary, but which heavily affects the quality of the holiday. 2) Incompetent and disorganized staff: Another aspect that left me deeply dissatisfied was the behavior of the staff. The management is rough and unprofessional. The staff, in addition to appearing unprepared, often provide conflicting information, creating confusion and inconvenience among guests. The general impression is that there is a lack of real coordination and adequate training of staff. In a structure that presents itself as a place of quality, this type of shortcoming is unforgivable. 3) Exorbitant prices and questionable policies: The costs within the campsite are absolutely disproportionate to the services offered. High prices for everything from groceries to additional services give the feeling of being exploited rather than welcomed. But what is really unacceptable is the management of the car park: if you arrive at 7:30 in the evening and the car park closes at 8, you are forced to pay the full daily rate. This policy is absurd and completely unjustified, leaving a bitter sense of frustration and anger. 4) Low quality entertainment: Once upon a time, entertainment was one of the strong points of the campsite, capable of entertaining both children and adults with quality shows and activities. Today, however, the animation is poor and lacking in originality. The lack of charismatic figures like Maurizio Zamponi, who knew how to involve and entertain everyone, is deeply felt. Without him and without adequate entertainment, the campsite has lost the magic that made it special. In conclusion, I can say with absolute certainty that my experience at Cieloverde campsite was negative from all points of view. What was once an ideal vacation retreat has turned into a place that can no longer provide an enjoyable experience. For these reasons, not only will I never go back again, but I will strongly advise against it to anyone looking for a peaceful, quality holiday.

15/08/2024: Tourist trap; we spent 46 euros each and we left hungry, the cut, asked for rare, a small steak of perhaps 150g, well cooked, arrived. Not recommended

27/07/2024: Very good food, we ate pasta with meat sauce, pizzas and lasagna. From the reviews I already knew that we would have to set the table and clear it ourselves but it was not at all a disappointment or something difficult. The outdoor area does not allow much air passage and on hot and humid evenings like this one the heat is felt. Very friendly and helpful staff.

04/08/2024: My girlfriend had booked for the 12th and 13th of August, they asked me for a deposit transfer to a foreign account by the 5th, I didn't have home banking enabled for abroad, I had my girlfriend contact them again, begging them to keep the reservation for me and I would be back tomorrow the 5th I went to the bank when it opened and made the transfer. today at 7.00pm I received a whatsapp warning me that my reservation must be canceled because it was already booked by booking. I called and spoke to the owner who, with extreme coldness, told me that since she wasn't always in the facility she hadn't blocked the dates and Booking had booked them and Booking had priority, the alternative was either just the 12th or 18th and 19th as if change from one week to another was the same, she did not apologize or offer a discount or similar to make up for what happened. It seems like rude and unprofessional behavior to me but on the other hand, if I'm not there, someone else is there and the profit comes anyway! Truly an absurd experience!

25/07/2024: Des pasta exceptionnelles servies avec le sourire. Coup de cœur pour les spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga (palourdes et pourtargue). Super vin pour accompagner, un vrai coup de cœur à prix très raisonnable ! Et le tout les pied dans l’eau dans le charmant Porto Ercole. ZTL non active dans la journée, nous avons pu nous garer en voiture sur le petit port.

24/07/2024: Siamo arrivati a questo locale onestamente leggendo le recensioni. E credo che la cosa migliore che si possa fare, è dare una mano a chi come noi fa di Tripadvisor una bibbia. Qui, al Red Star non si puó fare altro che confermare che è un locale splendido: - titolare e figlia spettacolari - menù finalmente con pochi piatti, ben curati e super buoni - gentilezza dello staff - prezzi correttissimi. Pasta alle vongolo…squisita!!! Bravi!

07/08/2024: An old wise man said "service is almost worth more than product" It's true, however, three fingers of foam in a Guinness with artichoke foam is a bit like this, however they know how to forgive, they are nice and they know how to compensate with all the rules of etiquette that could be kept in a pub. Rock!

26/06/2024: Quiet and pleasant affluent with some curiosities to discover first hand, excellent service as well as the food.

08/08/2024: After ordering takeaway, we go to pick up and find a long queue (which bodes well), so you decide to enter through the exit as we had ordered and fortunately it was the right thing to do (even if it wasn't signposted). After asking the few waiters who were there even though all the tables were packed, you decide to venture towards the cash register even though there was always a queue and the looks were not appreciative 😂. After asking two other people, fortunately we found a closed bag in a corner which was our order (with a different number than the receipt but oh well, the food listed was correct). We go to eat overlooking the sea but when we open the bags we realize that there were no napkins or cutlery, even though it was a takeaway... After buying them we finally eat: -The ridiculous salads, absurd quantity of vegetables and little fish (tasteless); -sashimi was basically a salad without dressing, and I was hoping at least to find a tasty salmon but unfortunately here too it was bad... -Sandwich and fried squid: the 3 stars are only for these two dishes.

07/08/2024: The 'ice prawns' sandwich was TOO good. Personally, I never get tired of it. Otherwise, I would only give the others a simple tasting bite, with the exception of the gourmet sandwiches of the day offered at the moment and therefore different from those on the menu. They are often very inviting! Raw dish perhaps too expensive compared to the quantity contained in the dish. Very nice location, but too much confusion.

03/05/2024: I nuovi gestori Sara e Cristiano ci hanno accolto con la loro gentilezza e simpatia. Pranzo ottimo tutto buonissimo . Torneremo a trovarvi sicuramente.

27/04/2024: AlPizza da 10 e lode. Impasto leggero cottura perfetta e condimenti si qualità. Prezzi onestissimi. Dolci fatti in casa eccezionali. Da tornare a pranzo per provare ristorante, a cena x il momento solo pizza. Ambiente un po' informale ma tutti estremamente cortesi e disponibili. Consigliatissimo !!!
