Trattoria Doria In Isola del giglio

I'm here on vacation, we came the first time and we liked it a lot, we came back a second time, the staff, atmosphere and food were really good, I felt welcomed and at home, recommended restaurant.

I went to this restaurant, in the small town of Giglio Porto, for two nights. I would have continued, but I had other commitments. Stunning setting. Sea view. Excellent service. Cleanliness. And what about dinner? Sabrina is a true hostess, as well as a brilliant chef. I haven't had such a good dinner in years. I highly recommend it to everyone. If you're passing through Giglio, you absolutely must stop at Doria. Kudos to Luca, Sabrina's partner. Very polite and kind, and kudos to the girls in the dining room, especially Vanessa. I will definitely return to Giglio and will definitely dine at Doria. Truly excellent in every way.

I dined at Doria during my stay on Giglio Island and was truly satisfied. The location is one of its strong points: you eat practically overlooking the harbor, with a splendid view that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked with care and displayed without being overdone. I appreciated both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes. The service was also impeccable: the staff were kind, attentive, and always available, without being intrusive. The bill was in line with the quality of the experience and the location. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a seafood dinner in a refined and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely return.

Wonderful experience! There were four of us, and we all ate different dishes; all delicious. The quality was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The welcome was wonderful. The waiters were attentive and super welcoming. I recommend it! The best restaurant on Giglio Island. Thank you all so much.

A lovely little restaurant with a veranda overlooking the harbor. A delightful atmosphere. Courteous, welcoming, and professional staff. Luca is a thoughtful and friendly person. The dishes are beautifully presented. The appetizers are very good, and the shellfish soup is truly excellent. The ingredients are top-quality. The service is fast and accurate. The price/quality ratio is excellent.

The restaurant makes a good impression from the outside, with its green roof. The ambiance is also tasteful and appealing. The staff is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we weren't so impressed with the food. My pasta con granchio was rather too salty, and there was simply too much tomato sauce, so much so that even with the best will in the world, I couldn't taste the crab. My main course, frittura mista, wasn't any better. While it lacked salt, the tempura, which is supposed to be crispy, was so soft that I was very disappointed with this dish as well. My husband had slightly better luck with his dishes, but even he wasn't impressed with the food. The dessert was good. It's a shame that the quality of the food doesn't match the rest of the experience, because thanks to the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere, you could have spent a cozy evening here.
