20/03/2026: Simply the most beautiful place in Porto Ercole

21/05/2026: I stopped for breakfast with a friend. The pastries are more than excellent, with a good selection and excellent macchiato. There are also tables outside, even though it's on the street. Unfortunately, if you're not familiar with the area, the place isn't immediately obvious, but it's worth a visit, especially since there's plenty of parking nearby.

23/12/2025: A cozy little bistro that never fails to impress. The menu offers a great selection of delicious dishes – from classic sandwiches to fresh daily specials, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The service is quick and very pleasant. A great bistro that I love to visit again and again – especially for a quick but delicious snack! It's also very conveniently located right next to the IP gas station on the main road.

28/09/2025: Great service and good food. I've eaten here more than once and have always left satisfied. The menu is original and has a nod to tradition. If you're in Follonica, I highly recommend lunch at the Bottega.

23/09/2025: We relied on the positive reviews but were disappointed. €15 for two (!) tortelli (a few months earlier there were three in the photos). I understand it's the end of the season, but it doesn't seem right to change the portions. The value for money of the tacos was also disappointing. Luckily, the staff were very kind! But unfortunately, I won't eat there again.

14/05/2026: They seated us in the main room, which, unfortunately for us, was occupied by a table of very noisy young people. The food was generally acceptable, but the service was imprecise and could be improved if one of the waiters didn't speak Italian. The food was decent and the prices were reasonable.

10/05/2026: I stayed there for a vacation over the May 1st long weekend. The room price, including breakfast, was reasonable considering the time of year. The breakfast is excellent, but the savory selection is limited; there are many sweet options. It has a lovely pool, and the location is in the countryside, very quiet. It's about 6 km from Capalbio Scalo and the beach. There are rooms reserved for guests with pets, so they are also welcome in the restaurant. We didn't eat at the restaurant. It produces and sells olive oil. I recommend it for a vacation.

07/06/2026: End-of-season dinner, pizza rotation. But for me, a celiac, I found an excellent fish appetizer and risotto, and the Catalan pizza was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful.

01/06/2026: While searching for delicious pasta, we stumbled upon this restaurant – and were so impressed that we ate there 4 out of 6 days during our stay. The gnocchi alla Sorrentina were the best we've ever had. The other pasta dishes and pizzas were also excellent. Add to that fair prices and very friendly staff. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

02/11/2025: One Sunday in early October, we found ourselves in Santa Fiora with our dog, without having booked for lunch! Luckily, we were welcomed at Enoteca Aldobrandesca with extreme kindness, delicious dishes, water, and cuddles for our dog Bella. Recommended!

26/08/2025: Given that the place was half-empty, they seated us in a damp, pungently smelling basement space, which could have been considered "typical," and we were the only table occupied. When it came time to order (taglieri, lampredotto, crostoni, etc.), we asked for two bottles of water: the owner, in an annoyed and rude tone, turned around and, as he walked away, said, "Yeah, okay, but I sell wine." At that point, we preferred to get up and leave. This kind of attitude, especially toward tourists, is the reason why certain places and businesses will die: when it's too late, perhaps they'll understand how they should have treated tourists/customers. P.S.: We ate an excellent sandwich across the street, spending a fifth of what we would have spent inside. Edit in response to the restaurant: Probably "the gentleman" told her the facts his way, and she thought it best to misrepresent the rest of the story: 1- We didn't order "2 small bottles of water," but platters (€25), lampredotto (€9.50), pappa al pomodoro (€9), crostone (€8) + 2 large bottles of water (€5) + 4 place settings (€6) (otherwise, what would have been the order you're referring to?!) 2- "Simply pointed out"?! As soon as we said "two bottles of water, please," he stopped writing the order, literally snatched the menus out of our hands, and, walking away annoyed, said, "Yeah, fine, but I sell wine." 3. Being polite people, he calmly and ironically said, "We didn't understand, you only sell wine," just to make "the gentleman" think about whether he might have been misplaced (obviously a failed attempt). 4. Regarding the calculations you made, reread point 1 and you'll understand that you were referring to the cost we would have paid with you compared to what we paid elsewhere (but then, excuse me, a garlic and oil bruschetta on the menu costs €4, and you come and tell us that the cured meat sandwich (not on the menu) costs €3?) Let me give you a piece of advice: "Even if you're no longer young, mistakes can happen; an apology would have been enough."
