01/11/2025: About 20 minutes late, and as soon as he got to my house, the delivery driver honked his horn repeatedly, then called me on my cell phone, and then handed me the pizzas from the back seat of a dirty car. Once I got home, I ate the Margherita, and everything was fine, but as soon as I opened the box of the schiacciata with Nutella, I noticed that it was completely burned and had holes in the bottom, truly inedible. The worst part was that they tried to disguise it with lots of powdered sugar, but the result was only more squalid. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NOT RECOMMENDED.

27/09/2025: Only 5 stars... None... At least triple... Light and delicious fried fish... The damselfish with cheese and ham... A fairytale... The corner location between Via Roma and the adjacent perpendicular street is beautiful... Christian is friendly and sociable... Very kind staff... And what can I say about the slices of pizza I got with Too Good to Go... A ton... Excellent and delicious the next day... Highly recommended... Thanks for everything, Walter and Sabrina

17/10/2025: A Quality Surprise, One Step Away From Perfection I must admit, the somewhat secluded location had made me skeptical. Instead, you're welcomed into a refined and surprisingly peaceful setting, with a beautiful outdoor pergola that promises pleasant moments, far from the chaos. But the cuisine is the true heart of the place. When the spaghetti with clams arrived, the aroma of the sea immediately silenced any doubts. The pasta was cooked impeccably, a perfect contrast between its firmness and the tenderness of the ultra-fresh clams. I looked at my companions and we agreed that they know how to treat fish here. The service proved to be up to par: genuine friendliness, never intrusive but always present, completing a high-quality experience. A trattoria that knows how to win you over.

11/09/2025: An authentic estate, where love for the land and care for creation are paramount. There are rooms for sleeping, a restaurant, a shop selling truly zero-mile local products, and an educational farm. There's plenty of space both inside and out.

07/09/2025: Slow food cuisine at its finest – a huge estate with its own cattle and pigs – all with plenty of space to roam and organically cultivated. Both the ham and bacon variations from the Cinta Senese pork as an appetizer and the Maremma marinara grilled on a wood grill were so indescribably good and tasty that even the longer journey was worthwhile. An attached shop with wine, olive oil, and sausages and meat products invites you to shop. The completely uncomplicated, friendly atmosphere on the spacious grounds is also very pleasant.

Molto prevenuti, siamo andati carichi e pronti a risponderle con un bel vaffa alla prima scortesia, invece abbiamo trovato degli ottimi panini, personale gentilissimo, accogliente e Generoso; abbiamo ricevuto uno sconto non richiesto e in omaggio un assaggio di una cosa tipica. è proprio un posto da non ritornarci Se invece vuoi essere trattato male e mandato a quel paese dalla cassiera🤣

23/10/2025: Fabulous location when you can eat outside overlooking the square. The interior is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A typical Tuscan menu with generous, quality portions, plus pizza and appetizers. Reservations are recommended from April to September. Good value for money.

10/10/2025: Very tasty. It's worth checking out the dishes on the blackboard; they're much more interesting than the regular menu. The place overlooks the cathedral and piazza, but doesn't feel like a tourist spot. Fair prices. Negroni for €5!

25/09/2025: The location and panoramic view are stunning, but the decor isn't the most refined—you could even find it at a local festival. The fish is very good, both the first courses, appetizers, and main courses... the desserts aren't up to par with the rest of the menu. Prices are slightly on the high side. The staff is young and very friendly.

25/09/2025: Exquisite dishes, a traditional menu, and excellent service. The restaurant is very beautiful and quaint, located in an old convent in the upper part of Scarlino. Recommended.

28/09/2025: A truly beautiful campsite with a great pool. The bungalows have two air conditioning units, but are somewhat sparsely equipped. A proper frying pan and a coffee machine were missing. Everything is very basic. But it doesn't really matter, since you're rarely in the bungalow anyway. But, of course, the operators can't do anything about that; there are plenty of mosquitoes and horseflies, which are quite aggressive. In August, spray yourself in the morning and afternoon. The beach is 5 km away, either sandy or natural with large stones, but there are fish. Shopping is also quite close, and a stand with fresh fruit is even closer 😀

21/09/2025: Even though it's "only" rated 3 stars, the apartment is really nice. It offers everything you need. Everything is very clean and comfortably furnished. The master bedroom and the living area have air conditioning. Dishes and cutlery are provided for normal use. Okay, there are only 6 regular glasses, but a few simple wine glasses would be great. The apartment has a terrace with olive trees and oleander. The entire complex looks well-maintained and also has a pool with loungers.

21/10/2025: Located in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia, we dined inside (late October) in a very quaint basement room that was definitely once a granary. We ordered grilled sea bass and baked sea bream, along with half a liter of wine. The food and service were good, though the prices are a bit high, but the location justifies that.

19/09/2025: On Giannella, a little inland from the main road, closer to Santa Liberata. Don't be fooled by the name: the main fish here is sea bass, and I know their supplier well. The trio of appetizers, paired with a first or second course for a fixed price, is an old-fashioned but still valid option, if done well. The wine is more than reasonable, the service is efficient and friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they accept all menus. So why "only" 4 stars? Because the menu selection is truly limited, and the wine is a shame. It's fine to limit yourself to a few dishes, but even if you really want to come more often (I live nearby), you can't eat the same thing too often. A little more variety, even if limited to a few dishes at a time, wouldn't hurt.

01/11/2025: When we arrived, we couldn't even tell where the entrance was—there was no sign. But whatever, we went ahead and opened the door, and there wasn't even a single member of staff to greet us, much less say hello. They just walked right past us. The food has really gotten worse; the dishes are bland, and even in that respect, they've gotten worse. We came once this summer, and it wasn't like that. The woman serving us (in the pink jersey) in particular was truly rude and surly. Just to give you an example of something that happened to us: she'd come in with a plate in her hand and literally slam it on the table. I was truly shocked by this. Just looking at her while she was serving the others made me want to get up from my chair and leave. Honestly, I absolutely don't recommend this place; it's not worth it.

31/10/2025: Updated October 30, 2025 The seven olive harvesters of '25, on a stormy, rainy, and windy day, indulged in a great-value seafood lunch: 4 appetizers...the 5 courses were always good. 5 first courses: clam and porcini mushroom gnocchi; seafood carbonara; spaghetti with monkfish; tagliatelle with octopus and tagliatelle with cucchi and calamari. 3 second courses: grilled fish; grilled calamari and mixed fried fish. ...everything was cooked to perfection, generous dishes that were a delight to the palate. March 31, 2022: On the SS322 Scansanense highway, in the homeland of the wild boar, at the Montorgiali junction, a wonderfully prepared FISH-based cuisine is offered: ° House appetizers, 5 courses ° Spaghetti with clams, paccheri with shrimp and burrata, tortelli with ricotta and sea bass ° Mixed fried fish ° Vermentino ... quality/price ratio "unmatched" AGLM terrenere

12/12/2025: A tasty stop at the end of the Ombrone bike path. Whenever I walk around here, I stop for a pizza or schiacciata.
