25/10/2025: I didn't give it a 5 only for the usual reason... the coffee... when we arrived on Friday, a guy served us a good coffee, the next day at breakfast the coffee, made by someone else, was really bad. Yes, perhaps for many it may seem like a trifle, but for those who choose breakfast as the optimal point to start the day, drinking such a coffee is a little problem... for the rest, nothing to say, beautiful location and polite and professional staff.

15/10/2025: A spacious and charming place with a breathtaking view of the city of Florence.
Knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful staff.
Very good and unique food.
We opted for a plate of Lucanian fusilli with tomato sauce and beef meatballs, and a cream of mushroom soup with fried potato gnocchi and crispy bacon.
To round out our lunch, we enjoyed cantucci biscuits with Vin Santo.
Everything was delicious!
12/10/2025: Group of 5 women, walked the long way round from gardin Bardini along the ridge to the Michalangelo terrace. The view was worth the long walk and the terrace bar was beautiful and drinks were very well needed. We had mixtures of beers ,wine and coffee. Some Frittes too! However the toilet was pretty horrendous, that was not ok being a nice up market venue! Otherwise would have been 5 stars

20/07/2025: Some pros and cons, all in all, three out of five.
The showers are a disaster. They take forever to heat up, and when they do, they're only hot. If you want to turn it down, it's cold again, and the water just trickles. The hairdryer only works partially; it turns off every 30 seconds because it gets too hot. The rooms facing the street are very noisy, and you can hear people walking above you, even at night.
But the location is great, very close to the train station and very close to the cathedral and other sights. The agent is very nice, even if you have to communicate in Italian or with Google Translate. The rooms themselves are really nice and clean, decorated in an older style.
16/07/2025: There is no parking, no breakfast, we had to pay 30 euros for parking per day, we stayed for 2 days, 25 euros was charged as tourist tax, 260 euros for the room, for that price you can rent a really luxurious place, not this one... I do not recommend it

Two covers
Two glasses of prosecco
Two sautéed mussels for a total of €50.
The place was cold and empty.
When asked why the €6 cover charge was the answer was "these are the prices."
We're in the Capalle industrial area, not in the center of Florence.
We ran away and went somewhere else to eat!!!
HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!
I wonder how it's possible that this place is recommended by TripAdvisor (or at least they have this sticker at the entrance).

10/10/2025: The two Italian waiters had a very bad attitude, as if they owed money. They spoke in a stammering manner when taking the order. Less than ten minutes after the meal was served, they came over and slammed the receipt on the table to collect the money. It was inexplicable.
07/10/2025: So needed breakfast of eggs after days of pastries.

22/05/2025: 1 maggio di questo anno sono stata qui come qualche altra volta a comprare pasticceria da asporto e prendere un caffè. La signora giovane che mi ha servito il caffè ha usato frasi offensive verso dei clienti appena usciti dalla pasticceria a voce alta da dietro il bancone: vista e sentita con le mie orecchie, magari la prossima volta usa lo stesso atteggiamento con me e non mi piace proprio l'idea!!! Tra l'altro le bignè comprate in questa occasione non avevano un sapore diverso tra i vari gusti, i gusti erano abbastanza piatti non proprio identificabili, diciamo dolci e vanigliati ma non con un gusto ben preciso .

31/10/2025: The staff is rude, and when she went to the chef to complain, she said, "This thirty-year-old doesn't even know how to behave. I'm 18, and there's no way we can have a basic conversation."
I ordered a carbonara, and I got a plate of pasta with cream and cooked ham, with some meaningless parsley sprinkled on top.

08/11/2025: A truly good sushi restaurant. Since it's always crowded, you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is more than worth it as the quality of the food makes up for it. I really like the ordering system (so you don't overdo it), and the vast menu offers a wide variety of choices. A final compliment goes to the waiters for their dedication in managing so many customers.
08/11/2025: There is no conveyor belt with small plates to take yourself, you can order a maximum of 5 dishes per person at a time, overcooked rice, lots of rice and little of the rest
