05/11/2025: The food is truly awful, even though the buffet selection is plentiful. Perhaps it would be helpful to put a plastic bag over the food to prevent anyone from coughing on it. The waiters are a bit indifferent. The grills arrive after the burners; we waited thirty minutes for two peppers, which weren't good. The price is good, in line with the meal. In short...many aspects could be improved.

22/09/2025: I went with my family at 12pm. Initially we were happy to go but in reality it turned out to be the opposite. There were some employees who, if I fired them almost immediately, I would fire them. The food was one of the worst and in the soy spaghetti there was everything but spaghetti. However, the worst thing was the cold food and some hairs. I would not recommend it even to my worst enemy. Furthermore, we asked how they cooked the spaghetti and they cooked spaghetti right there while they put the water to boil. Furthermore, the staff is very rude.

20/07/2025: Some pros and cons, all in all, three out of five. The showers are a disaster. They take forever to heat up, and when they do, they're only hot. If you want to turn it down, it's cold again, and the water just trickles. The hairdryer only works partially; it turns off every 30 seconds because it gets too hot. The rooms facing the street are very noisy, and you can hear people walking above you, even at night. But the location is great, very close to the train station and very close to the cathedral and other sights. The agent is very nice, even if you have to communicate in Italian or with Google Translate. The rooms themselves are really nice and clean, decorated in an older style.

16/07/2025: There is no parking, no breakfast, we had to pay 30 euros for parking per day, we stayed for 2 days, 25 euros was charged as tourist tax, 260 euros for the room, for that price you can rent a really luxurious place, not this one... I do not recommend it

26/10/2025: We should have known when we were the only 8 people in the restaurant, but alas, we did not head this warning sign. The chef came out to verbally offer several courses of food for our evening. No menus were given (our second red flag) but we also didn’t know how things were done, so we said yes. I did ask for options that were no meat, and no dairy, as we had people in our group with dietary restrictions. I spoke this in Italian even though his English was very good, and he acted as though he perfectly understood . But several courses of cheesy dishes and meat followed. Eventually at the end of the courses, some charred tasting vegetables came, and some mediocre potatoes. People in the group who ate all the food said none of it was very good. The lone wait staff was not friendly nor approachable. All this to say that at the end of it all, our bill was some 430 Euro, which the chef asked to be paid in cash. Like, what? We’re not just carrying that many Euro on our person. He did of course pull out the card reader and the bill was paid. Over paid rather. If you’re still here at the end after the rambling novel of this review, my strong advice is to steer very clear of this establishment. Unless you love eating bad food, feeling like and inconvenience, and being monetarily taken advantage of. Side note, the shop next door was a dream. We had gotten coffee there earlier in the day, and it was a most pleasant experience.

22/08/2025: I visited this restaurant with my husband and found the atmosphere very homey, simple yet welcoming. The appetizer of pappa al pomodoro fritters was truly delicious, a true delight. The main course, a fillet of beef served with potatoes, was very good: the meat was tender and well-cooked. We enjoyed the pici, although we would have preferred them with less pepper, as the flavor was a bit too intense. As for the desserts, however, our experience was less satisfying: they were a bit heavy, and we weren't convinced by the choice of serving them in a cup, which was awkward both for eating and for the waiter to carry. The service was courteous, with a friendly waiter, and the wait times were reasonable, neither too long nor too fast. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for those who appreciate authentic flavors in a rustic atmosphere. The desserts could be improved, but we'll definitely be back!

24/10/2025: We're regulars at this restaurant, and it's always a confirmation! The food is always excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and with attention to detail. The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. A special thanks to the owner, Fabrizio, a truly kind, helpful, and always smiling person. It's rare to find such a warm and genuine welcome! We leave completely satisfied every time. Highly recommended to anyone looking for good food and a family-friendly yet refined atmosphere.

27/08/2025: Good food, friendly service, but honestly, seeing people from out of town coming in and out of the kitchen (maybe because they're relatives or friends, who knows) isn't at all hygienic. The worst was when I even saw a man who, during one of his visits to the kitchen, cleaned his teeth with his finger... I was truly disgusted. What a shame!

20/10/2025: Halal food in Florence. I had heard a lot about this place. Specially their viral sandwiches. I got a donner sandwich in pita bread. Recommended by the staff. I must say one of the best sandwiches I have had in Florence. It’s a small place atmosphere is as good as it can get for this kind of spot.

08/10/2025: Craving kebab at night? The kebab was good, and the staff were very friendly. I visited late at night—it was light enough for a late-night meal and perfectly seasoned. I stopped by on my way to the tram. The ingredients were generous enough to make it a decent late-night meal. (I'm looking for something filling, so get the set.) The staff here were especially friendly and thoughtful. I stopped by without any expectations, but it was fine. 🙂 The sauce was a bit salty if you ask for more sauce. I just took what they gave me, and it was fine.

01/11/2025: Small place very close to the Mandela Forum (great for those who stop for a quick bite) like us before a concert, the pizzas are delicious, the place is minimal but quiet, the staff a bit "nice" but that's fine, you can eat pizzas but also meat

25/11/2025: I organized a birthday party for six children, purchasing a pre-arranged package: €30 per child, including pizza, Nutella, a drink, and two Laser Tag games, plus a €36 cake, with a €50 deposit paid via bank transfer. Everything was clearly defined. At the time of payment, I was told a total of €349, including human foosball, an activity I had neither requested nor authorized. I pointed out that this addition wasn't included in the initial agreement, but the management insisted on payment. In the end, they asked me for €299 + a €50 deposit. Total: €349... I believe the agreement wasn't respected, but I paid the amount they asked for because I didn't want to argue further. The subsequent confrontation, in my personal experience, was rude and disrespectful in tone. This made the experience overall unpleasant, both in terms of the way the additional costs were handled and the interaction with the staff. I think it's helpful to share my experience so that other customers are aware of the terms and conditions and communications related to the services offered.
