26/04/2025: We ordered two coffees at the bar and when we wanted to sit down they told us that the coffee on the table has a different price. We paid 6 euros for two coffees, which I honestly think is a rip-off. On top of that, they served me cold coffee. The girl made it again for me, but since you pay so much for a coffee, they should have served it to you right away.

04/11/2024: The place was once top, now it's gotten worse and it's not even the bad copy. Drink + Buffet €12. The Buffett with cold and very limited stuff. We took a plate of coccoli, stracchino, and raw meat because there was nothing in the buffet. Moral of the story €20 each. I would like to point out that he took the cuddles from the buffet and heated them in the microwave. It was really embarrassing. Too bad I didn't read the reviews before

01/05/2025: Tourist trap, here the charge is €16 for two ice cream cones. Never in my life have I paid so much for two scoops of ice cream. We wanted a small cup, which should cost €3.5! After consultation, it was claimed that this had been explained to us

19/04/2025: Oh my god. Such rude service. We were trying to figure out the pricing and flavours for our 6yo and the staff member slammed the cups and sternly yelled the prices saying what do you want! I think she didn’t like Chinese customers very much, but she should still be polite especially when we have kids. Suggest you avoid. Plenty of great gelato shops around the corner.

16/12/2024: Ore 10:11 Ci siamo fermati per fare una semplice colazione, 2 caffè lisci e 2 bomboloni al cioccolato (la scelta era solo su 4 tipi di pezzi dolci). Al momento di pagare la signora alla cassa mi chiede 8,60 euro e incredulo pago. I prezzi esposti in vetrina erano solo per la pasticceria (porzioni di torte e tortini vari direi spropositati da 5,00 a 7,00). Sinceramente 1 semplice bombolone €3.00 (a mio parere nemmeno buono) mi sembra più che ridicolo tantomeno se il prezzo non è nemmeno bene segnalato in vetrina.

In questo bar non abbiamo trovato niente di tutto cio', al contrario siamo stati trattati come nullita'. Sono venuto qui con la mia compagna e non credo di ritornarci piu', onestamente. Un caffe' , un cappuccino e un dessert: 15 euro 90 centesimi. Fate vobis...

22/03/2025: 3 pizzas arrived 40 minutes late, totally cold. Two daisies, cooked so much that they become dry and burnt. The last one, a hoax, was raw, and the dough was completely without salt, tasteless. Having tried many pizzas in my life, as an Italian, I can confidently say that this is the worst. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD GIVE THEM.

22/03/2025: 3 pizze arrivate con 40 minuti di ritardo, totalmente fredde. Due margherite, cotte tanto da farle diventare secche e bruciate. L'ultima, una bufala, era cruda, e l'impasto era completamente senza sale, insipido. Avendone provate tante, da italiano, di pizze nella mia vita, posso dire con sicurezza che questa è la peggiore. Potessi dare ZERO STELLE LE DAREI.

29/04/2025: 30 minutes d.attente pour des lasagnes froides ou rechaufffees à la hâte, viande hachée à l.état de traces noyée dans une abondante béchamel totalement insipide, et une assiette de poulet très médiocre, servie avec des pommes de terre sautées….. à plusieurs reprises ! Carbonisées à l.exterieur et froides. Nous sommes partis en ayant faim. La patronne ayant vu mon assiette de lasagne à peine entamée …. n.a pas semblé étonnée.

08/12/2024: The worst ice cream you can eat within a radius of at least five km. Also because at that distance, on Viale dei Mille, there is the sublime Badiani. Elderly, grim, rude owners. They rudely asked us if we wanted to eat at the table and when we said no, they even snorted. It's called a Sicilian ice cream shop. I took two reference flavors: Sicilian cassata and pistachio. Three euro glass that barely fit two flavors. To say terrible is to pay a compliment: the "cassata" was a sort of watery and clearly old fiordilatte, with particles of ice inside, totally tasteless, except for the sugar and ONE candied fruit. The Pistachio was the same Apparent Fiordilatte, colored dull green and with a vague, but VERY vague pistachio flavour, perceivable only if you have a particularly sensitive palate. Finally: no receipt. They are elderly, they have been running this old ice cream shop for many years with this terrible approach. Help them retire: don't go there for any reason. Whoever comes will do better. I add after the manager's threat in his response: go ahead, it will be a pleasure to reciprocate, given the public threat. Even saying that they defame you when the truth is expressed (just look at the other reviews for confirmation) is defamation, especially in this tone, which is clearly intimidating. Obviously, in this case, I will ask Google to bring to bear witness the other people who have reviewed it, with similar complaints about service and taxation. She only had one thing to do: keep quiet and improve the service, which dishonors her in the first place. Let everyone judge for themselves.

16/11/2024: Total inability to be in the public eye. They sell you the ice cream they want in the quantity they want, then insist on making us sit down and then charge us the extra for table service. And the ice cream isn't even good, poor quality. We're not quite there. --- I add after the answer: we stayed with you this summer, obviously not now which is November. The comment is not stupid, the stupidity belongs to those who do not know how to reflect and question themselves in order to make an improvement despite the dozens of negative comments they receive. The only luck you have is to be in the square in Fiesole, otherwise you would have closed a long time ago. But a service carried out in this way does not enhance the country, it debases it. Go ahead and sell to foreign tourists, everything is fine with them.

29/04/2025: The WORST PLACE I’ve ever been. I’m lucky to be able to travel and eat in different places, but I’ve never seen anything like this. I was with my mother, a 68-year-old lady, and my 4-year-old daughter. Just for calling the waiter — who wasn’t coming — he got irritated, and when we said we only wanted to eat, not drink, HE LITERALLY KICKED US OUT of the restaurant, SHOUTING, in front of everyone. This man is really impolite, to the point of being aggressive and completely out of line, treating women with zero respect. Luckily, I didn’t spend a cent in that place, and judging by other reviews, the FOOD IS TERRIBLE anyway. I’m not surprised people end up there only because Antico Vinaio is full — not because this is a place worth going to.

27/04/2025: A place that clearly takes advantage of its location to do business without worrying about the customer. I understand that rush hour must not be pleasant, but we have the feeling of disturbing the staff (a server who huffs and puffs every time he goes back and forth to his terrace, a cashier who doesn't crack a smile and who invites me to quickly take the products from the counter while my partner pays to quickly move on to the next customer). And on top of that, the sandwiches are really not great. Bread covered in fleur de sel (but too salty), filling okay but nothing more. We were disappointed.

17/02/2025: Dopo varie esperienze non convincenti, ritorniamo per constatare se questo locale avesse migliorato il loro servizio di ristorazione. Ma la serata è stata molto deludente. Abbiamo optato per l'open sushi con tempi di attesa molto lunghi e con un organizzazione del servizio inappropriato, confusionario e per nulla attento verso i clienti. Non abbiamo ricevuto tutte le portate richieste e quelle consumate avevano una qualità molto discutibile.

14/02/2025: Ordine effettuato online, ritardo di 90 minuti e purtroppo nessuna risposta al telefono. Molto scadente, alla fine abbiamo dovuto annullare. NO!

19/04/2025: As Australians first time traveling in Europe the female waitress is the rudest person we have come across. We ordered two coffees to eat it and wait for our train. They brought us take away cups, didn’t think anything about it. Next thing this waitress comes over and screams at us to get out it’s for eat in only this is the rules she screams. After the fourth time she yells this I tell her I heard you the first time and my husband tried to explain we ordered to eat in. She said get out ! Never been so humiliated or thrown out of a cafe in our lives. So rude so disrespectful behaviour.
