"Fantastic family dinner. There were four of us and we were all thrilled: the food was truly exquisite, way above average. You could tell they took great care in selecting the ingredients. Even the kids enjoyed their meal, which is not a given! Compliments to the chef and all the staff for the quality and courtesy. Highly recommended!"

If you want to experience the authentic Livorno atmosphere, Pallaio is definitely the place to be. Traditional Livorno cuisine, friendly and helpful staff, and a simple, family-friendly location. Very good dishes; I personally loved the grilled squid. I have a word of caution about the hot squid salad, which was perhaps a little too salty. I've seen some very inviting and generous first courses; I think they're their signature dish. I'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it!

The atmosphere, service, and food are what you'd expect from a traditional trattoria. The fish dishes are excellent, with generous portions, and... well, at Pallaio, it's a great place to be!

Surprise, excellent food, warm welcome. Fish soup like my grandmother used to make, excellent grilled squid, perfectly tender and flavorful, panna cotta with punch cream. I'll definitely be back.

22/05/2026: Beautiful and unique experience. We met by chance at a wine event in Livorno..... 5 minutes and it all started. The location and the welcome are unique, the dishes are high quality, typical Livorno specialties and not... truly good cuisine. The gem is Fabio... aka the INNEVEREND, where a word with him is worth a lot and not only cheers up your evening.... but he introduces you to real people..., for his simplicity, elegance and cordiality. Fabio number one always and ANYWAY

11/06/2026: FABULOUS!!!! It's hard to find better adjectives!! Stunning location, we ate by the sea, on the sand, absolutely excellent dishes!!!! Absolutely perfect fish, delicious, excellent service!! To be repeated without hesitation! Generous portions, knowledgeable and very friendly owner, very friendly waiters (thanks Pascal!! 🤟) EXCELLENT!!!
