19/05/2026: I am sorry to say, but this was the worst Italian food we had (in Italy) for years. My pregnant wife got stomach problems after eating fried fish and my pizza calzone was basically only cheese and prosciutto (no tomato sauce!), which did not taste good.
I hope others will like it more, however the other food unfortunately did also not look that good to us. So I didn't understand why there are sooooo many 5 stars. But maybe it's just us.
Service was very friendly and the ambient is okay.
Edit: response was not very friendly or customer oriented, so I downgraded service. The responses to other comments was basically why we did not say anything while paying.

A wide selection of Ligurian and Tuscan dishes, featuring high-quality ingredients and cuisine, with generous portions and affordable prices.
Friendly staff and impeccable service. We asked for a small plate with samples of three cakes from the menu, and they obliged without any hesitation or surprises on the bill.
A true trattoria! Definitely worth returning.
02/06/2026: You absolutely must try their platters! The food is plentiful, with traditional flavors and very reasonable prices. Not to mention the stunning mountain views!

The staff were very friendly and polite, and the place was clean.
The Tuscan crostini appetizer was delicious, the topini with white rabbit ragù, and the tortelli stiani with Chianina ragù were equally delicious.
The scroccadenti were also good.
Highly recommended.
12/04/2026: A complete restaurant, from breakfast to dinner.
Don't miss the fried food and its potato tortelli.

06/05/2026: A magical and relaxing place. After years of not going to the beach (too sunny, noisy, and crowded), I've started going to the beach again. I happened upon it while looking for a seaside cafe and discovered a unique, very clean and well-kept place. I'd give it 10 stars.

21/05/2026: Great wine bar/ restaurant across the river from the Uffizi. Outdoor terrace with views of the river. Did not eat there but enjoyed the wine and very good value. There is a fantastic shop attached as well with a vast selection of wine. Highly recommended.

07/04/2026: A super beautiful and well-organized place. We received excellent service: everyone was smiling and very friendly. We ordered a 5&5 caramelized onion dish which was wonderful. We loved it! We recommend it and want to go back to try the cod dish.

04/04/2026: My hotel recommended this to me, I had my doubted but delightfully found that I was not disappointed. My server provided excellent service and the steak was cooked rare though not chewy. Had a bottle of the house Chianti and was great to wash down the steak with. Spent 50 Euro on myself and was completely satisfied!

The owners, incredibly kind and helpful, were aware of my dietary needs and went out of their way to select the right dishes from the menu for a dinner that completely satisfied us. Recommended!
