23/08/2025: Simple and functional pizzeria, we go there every now and then, fair prices and very welcoming staff.... they also work a lot with takeout, with tables both inside and outside.

08/06/2025: Appuntamento fisso di tutte le volte che visitiamo la città di Lucca . Locale accogliente e bellissimo per chi ama la cultura Otaku, portate abbondanti e pizze buonissime. Da aggiungere poi anche un personale molto gentile e cortese e un prezzo molto onesto (soprattutto considerato le zone turistiche e i giorni che viviamo) Assolutamente consigliato!

24/04/2025: Thanks to the friendly staff, I put in 50 euros in cash and had about 10 euros left after putting the gas in the pool. After seeing the receipt, they immediately refunded the remaining amount! The gas station is spacious and comfortable, so I like it!

The homemade desserts also live up to expectations, and there's a decent selection of excellent craft beers. Service is fast, even when the place is full. Overall, I highly recommend this place; go and enjoy!

22/04/2025: Cibi pessimo, birra allungata, servizio ancora peggio, cameriera molto maleducata. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio del primo piatto perché faceva un cattivo odore (pici con la nana) la cameriera ha inventato delle scuse improponibili per non farlo. Credo proprio che non ci ritorno

02/03/2025: Tuffo nel passato con sapori autentici e genuini come le persone che ci lavorano. Ottimi sia i pici al ragù bianco che le scaloppine ai porcini e la tagliata al rosmarino. Prezzi onesti , sicuramente da fermarsi se si è in zona .

17/07/2025: Nach wie vor zauberhafte Kulisse. Kellnerinnen und Kellner sehr unprofessionell. Immer standen 2-3 Servicekräfte laut redend und lachend hinter uns. Als Gäste fühlten wir uns unwohl und in unserer Privatsphäre gestört. Wir fühlten uns ständig beobachtet, aber nicht gut betreut. Das Essen war diesmal leider nur durchschnittlich. Da Carpaccio um 19.00 Uhr vergriffen war, wurde allen Gästen Tatar angepriesen. Es war genießbar, aber nicht sehr schmackhaft. Alle weiteren Mahlzeiten waren ebenfalls enttäuschend, der Nachtisch eine Zumutung. Wieder fragten wir vergeblich nach unserem Wunschtisch, der angeblich reserviert war, aber den ganzen Abend unbesetzt blieb. Der Abend Im Badia Coltibuono war für uns eine große Enttäuschung . Unsere weite Anreise hat sich keinesfalls rentiert … im Gegenteil!! Nie wieder!

27/07/2025: Unfortunately, although we've been there before, I'm sorry to note that the quality of the food has deteriorated. The price is disproportionate for the setting and the type of service. A 30 euro steak among the many different dishes ordered is even more excessive if the steak isn't shown to the customer (who in this case was a young girl) first to weigh the quality and price... The appetizers in oil from the supermarket are unbearable. I'll pay 15 euro for the butter and sage ravioli if they're homemade, not if they're supermarket-bought ones with questionable taste, except for the butter. Cheese to be put on a plate of spaghetti, in a cold bowl from the fridge with a spoon in it... In short, if it's a trattoria, it must maintain its charm and characteristics... 150 euros for a family of four, one of whom is a child, who only tried a first course and a half-liter of house wine... seems excessive to me... a lot; If only there had been some air conditioning instead of fans... The pizzo truffle saved us...for the modest sum of 5 euros each...but it was good.

20/07/2025: We've been there twice in the space of a year, and unfortunately the second time was a disappointment... A paltry appetizer with 1 slice of ham per person, one of salami, one of lard, one of mortadella, a small bowl of panzanella for 4-5 people, a small plate of mixed aubergines and courgettes for 5; then a small piece of rostinciana, a sausage, a small piece of chicken per person... And not even cooked well, 5 baked potatoes per person... Slow service... 25 euros seems excessive to me... Oh well... This time it went like this

08/09/2025: The staff is friendly and helpful, making you feel immediately at ease. The dishes are plentiful and truly tasty; you can sense the care and tradition behind what they serve; the quality of the fish is truly spectacular. Excellent value for money. The only thing that perhaps stands out is the ambiance; the style is a bit retro, but personally, given the quality of the food and the friendly service, that's only a minor complaint. A more than positive experience.

22/08/2025: A discreet restaurant that seems uncrowded at first, but inside, it's a quiet spot, perfect for a romantic meal! The cuisine is local and excellent! The value for money is truly impressive. The service is equally appreciable, from the waiters and cooks to even taking orders—everything is done with a smile and a passion for doing a good job! 04/05/2025: Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e piatti della tradizione locale. Sapori forti e decisi. Crostini e pappardelle eccezionali. Pici all’anatra della casa e stufato dal gusto medioevale. Pietanze ben fatte e porzioni molto abbondanti.

19/08/2025: A very nice pub, all in weathered wood, with outdoor tables in a small square surrounded by old buildings. Relaxing. I had a good burger and chatted with the very friendly owner and assistant. The beer?!?!...in a place like this, it can only be good beer. Recommended

10/09/2025: Excellent pastry shop and café with delicious classic, traditional, and local brioches! Clean atmosphere, street-facing tables (but no table service), and extremely friendly, welcoming, and cheerful staff! Highly recommended for a great breakfast to start your day off right!

16/09/2025: FORGET IT! I'm so sorry, but after the change of management, it really could close... I had returned with great desire after 3 years and the disappointment came immediately (as I read in other comments too). If I had read them before, I certainly wouldn't have returned... What a shame!

15/09/2025: Well, I'll just say we've been back and back again. My wife and I, late August, early September 2025. Every night was a surprise (including the bill). A special mention for the Florentine steak, cooked to perfection, tender and succulent. I'm giving it an average price because obviously the night I devoured a nearly 1,700g Florentine steak, I spent a little more, but if you eat "normal" (I weigh almost 150kg), you can get by for 35 euros each (with good wine). But the best are the owner and the waiter (I don't know if they're also related), but the friendliness of both deserves a special mention. The place is nice inside and rather spartan on the veranda, but still decent. Try it! I'll spare you those canned answers... There's nearby parking, we didn't reserve on our last night, and I never saw any overcrowding, and children are welcome. On our last night, there was a man in a wheelchair at the table next to ours, so it's accessible.
