08/09/2025: We were in Italy for a week prior to heading to Tuscany. Cortefreda was one of the best meals we had. Every single dish was incredible. While they’re all so incredible I’d say go for the Saffron Risotto with the Osso Bucco, The Wild Boar Stew and the Truffle Gnocchi! Also don’t sleep on the Tiramisu. Just incredible! Also the thousand layer potatoes. Oh and Kitty is the sweetest too!

30/04/2025: 5 Stars – Trust Paolo, Even Without the Wine My dad always told me, “You can always trust the bartender.” Tonight at Ristorante Cortefreda, that truth came to life through Paolo — even though we didn’t order a single drop of alcohol. Paolo, who happens to have a background in chemical engineering, was both our server and the restaurant’s bartender — and yet, he welcomed our choice to stick with black Americanos without even a hint of judgment. His grace, warmth, and professionalism were a masterclass in hospitality. What stood out most was his passion for the food. Every culinary recommendation he made was exceptional — thoughtful, balanced, and clearly rooted in deep knowledge and love for the cuisine. Paolo made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely cared for. If you’re visiting Ristorante Cortefreda, trust Paolo. He’s proof that great service transcends the glass — and that sometimes, the best pairing for an unforgettable meal is simply kindness and good coffee.

19/08/2025: Terrible- stay away. This place should be named hostel. Staying there is as equal as putting mattress on a Florence walkway and sleep like this for the whole time. The worst ever place I stayed in so far. The towels hangers are right above the toilet so you can wipe the face. Mattress were so old that they have brown color .

13/08/2025: Exceptional ambiance, great staff who provided us with great tips for highlights and restaurants. Thank you so much for that! Located in the central transit zone, everyone should be aware that parking isn't available there all the time. Thanks for the tip about the parking garage for €15 per day! The hotspots are within easy walking distance of the hotel.

08/07/2025: I happened to be passing by here around lunchtime, and ordered two slices of pizza and a drink. The pizza was neither excellent nor infamous, but I must say the counter was well stocked with pizzas of all flavors, including arancini and stuffed panzerotti. The prices were fair, so I'd recommend trying it for lunch or a quick snack.

27/05/2025: I haven't tried the tavola calda flavor yet.....but from the photos the arancini seem half the size of those sold in Sicily for €2.20 🤷

25/06/2025: È un ristorante bluff e scortesi da quando poi ha cambiato il cuoco dicendo che proviene dal ristorante l'elefante Marino che è un noto ristorante Famoso! E adesso il ristorante Fahrenheit credono di essere un ristorante stellato quando invece..... Ma non sanno che quel cuoco è stato mandato via dall'elefante Marino perché non era un bravo cuoco. Poi pubblicizzano un menù fisso di €16 Ma guarda caso i contorni non sono considerati chiaramente oltre le bevande. Questa è una vergogna e lo sconsiglio!!!!!!! Alcuni piatti erano pochi e anche salati.

25/06/2025: Mi reco per pura fretta nella scelta con la mia famiglia per cena. Eravamo in 4 ordinati 4 menù ( 4 primi e 4 secondi ) dopo qualche tempo arrivano i primi. I miei spaghetti alle vongole immangiabili ( a meno che uno non gradisca la sensazione di schiuma allo shampoo ). Il polipo di mia moglie poteva masticarlo solo Superman…..e niente. Dopo 40 minuti mi alzo innervosito per andare a sollecitare i secondi. Arrivano dopo 20 minuti……..naturalmente, tutti a distanza unì dall’altro…. E a chi mancava? A me che avevo sollecitato!!!!! Elementare wattson. Allora assaggio un poco da mia figlia. Arriva la titolare chiedendo : “ tutto bene “ ? In maniera sarcastica…. Ed io :” no, visto che non è ancora arrivato il secondo. Beh morale della favola….arrivo al bancone per pagare, lei scappa in cucina ed arriva il marito. Gli spiego la situazione: sguardo assente, distaccato, nemmeno un accenno di scuse, un amaro offerto per salvare la faccia….. niente di niente di niente. 80€ piene ( come se avessi mangiato completo ) e via. Sorvolo sulle condizioni dei servizi igienici perché sono un signore. Lo sconsiglio vivamente!!!!! Mai più nella vita.

02/07/2025: Since I was a child I used to go there for a snack. Now despite the change of generations, they are good especially the pastry chef who is bringing a bit of innovation to the products. But the typical puff pastry pizzas are still there! The place however has remained the same, maybe a refresh wouldn't hurt Anyway ceccherini Top!

24/08/2025: During our trip to Tuscany, we had spaghetti with tomato and zucchini, and meat in sauce with fries. The food was all very good.

14/09/2025: We were there on a Wednesday and it was almost full, a good sign, we thought. The pizza, while not Neapolitan-style, was actually really good, with plenty of toppings and quality ingredients. It was served very quickly, but we had to wait a bit longer for dessert. The dessert was standard fare, straight from the fridge (a profiteroles and meringue pie), a little hard, but good. The prices were more than fair; in short, we'll be back as soon as we can.

28/08/2025: By far the best pizzeria in the area. You get a real homily feel when entering the restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is unbelievable.

02/08/2025: A very nice and well-maintained restaurant in a AgriResort. Authentic and refined food. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the presence of dogs in the restaurant.
