Overall, the experience wasn't satisfactory, despite some very positive aspects. Let's start with those. The location is beautiful: the restaurant is located in a farmhouse in the Maremma countryside; you dine overlooking the pool. The service was very courteous, if a bit overbearing (I was told "all our dishes are made to order," which is impossible given that several dishes on the menu require very long cooking times). I really appreciated the lack of a cover charge, a rarity outside of Rome. As for the negative aspects: for my first course, I ordered the fusilloni with rabbit sauce. Since it's a dry pasta, I specified that I prefer them al dente, but the ones I was served were almost overcooked, with the texture of the fusilloni tasting precooked. It's a shame because the rabbit sauce was delicious. For my second course, I ordered the guinea fowl cooked twice: the meat and the two cooking methods were truly excellent, even if the portion was truly microscopic, as you can see in the photo (which doesn't justify the €20 price tag for this dish). The dish was accompanied by pan-fried zucchini, which were completely cold, probably fresh from the refrigerator. Upon pointing this out, they changed my water. The most peculiar aspect, however, was the water. I ordered a Nepi: those familiar with it know that, despite being a naturally sparkling wine, the bubbles are definitely noticeable. Well, they served a completely still Nepi! I can only hazard a guess: either a faulty batch, or an accidentally opened bottle that went flat (I don't even want to consider topping it up). In any case, they changed my water. The water cost €3.50, which seems a bit excessive for a farmhouse, as does €7 for a glass of rosé. The wine list is very varied, but the markups are a bit high, especially for local wines. Perhaps it was just an unlucky evening, so I don't feel like discouraging it, and I'd give it a second chance.

A good agri-restaurant where you can enjoy local dishes from both the sea and the land. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff.

Discovered during a short vacation in Talamone, we decided to give it a try. We arrived and found ourselves in front of an agritourism resort with a spa and restaurant in a fantastic location surrounded by olive groves. We were welcomed and shown to a table. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable, able to recommend both food and, especially, wine. The menu was carefully curated and beautifully prepared. We'll be back and staying there again. Highly recommended. The price was in line with the quality.

First of all, we came back here by the second time because of two main reasons: the level of the customer service and the quality of the food. The third reason is the place, tha ambiance, etc. Definitiva one of our best locations near Rome to have a weekend away 😍
