Tipica osteria toscana in zona Novoli, all'inizio scelta per la sua vicinanza al nostro hotel. La cena si è rivelata ottima, specialmente per la qualità davvero speciale della carne, davvero il piatto forte della serata. Buona anche la lista dei vini, a prezzi decisamente onesti. Completa il quadro un servizio cortese e attento.

In trasferta a Firenze l’hotel mi consiglia di cenare all’Antica Osteria, raggiungibile facilmente a piedi. Ho preso di antipasto i carciofi con scaglie di grana, piatto abbondante e prodotto top; di primo la pappa al pomodoro, nella sua semplicità era perfetta, e per finire la millefoglie con crema chantilly e frutti di bosco, da farci il bis. Non ho preso carne alla griglia perché avevo già dato la sera prima, ma ci tornerò apposta perché la scelta tra i vari tipi di carne è eccezionale. Conto in linea con la qualità. Tornerò sicuramente!

29/03/2026: I went on a Friday evening for an aperitivo, but it was actually a full-service buffet dinner, with tables laden with a rich, authentic, and abundant variety of dishes. From cured meats, porchetta, cheeses, fried foods, meats, meatballs, ratatouille, parmigiana, pizza, focaccia, various pasta dishes, and much more, all expertly prepared using quality ingredients. The fixed-price menu includes a welcome cocktail and coffee. The only extra charges are the (delicious) homemade desserts, water, and wine. A pleasant surprise! The staff at the counter and among the tables are helpful and efficient. Highly recommended.
17/12/2025: We met up with friends for a Christmas getaway. We enjoyed the self-service menu, which offers a wide variety of dishes, including desserts for those with a sweet tooth. Excellent food, excellent value. The place is quiet, and if you're in a group, you can reserve a table. There's no cover charge or water. We ordered their homemade panettone, which is highly recommended. At the bar, I had a coffee that tasted like coffee, not burnt like it often does even in Michelin-starred establishments. On Friday evenings, they host an aperitivo, not to be missed.
