We are only in Siena one night, so it was great to try the fabulous menu at this lovely little Tuscan restaurant. We tried six dishes between two of us, each one was exceptional.
Highlights were secondi, the tuna was amazing, as was the rabbit medallions. Service with a smile from our lovely friendly waitress, assisted by an equally friendly waiter who greeted us upon arrival. Both are a credit to this brilliant place.
We arrived as they opened so luckily no need to reserve on this occasion, but I guess if you can, reserve in advance. As we arrived early we had the option to eat inside or at one of the outside tables.
We thought it was great value too.
Cannot recommend this place enough, simply wonderful!

In a former 11th century parish church, later converted to warehouse and now a restaurant you will find delicious Tuscan fare with refined touches. As in the best Italian cuisine, the ingredients speak for themselves.
On a Saturday evening in April, the place was packed and rightly so.
The antipasti both traditional (bruschetta and salami) and more creative (white beans soufflé, chicken liver with pear) were delicious. The primi were tasteful, whether the lovely tarragon spaghetti, or the risotto with sea fruits. The secondi were nice, we had the rabbit and tuna in a crust of hazelnuts. Well recommended!

It has a higher Google rating than it deserves, at least in my opinion. If you're hungry as you leave the cathedral, you'll want to go in, but the food is just okay, bordering on poor. The prices are average, but after spending a few days in Tuscany, you appreciate the quality you can get for the same price. You don't get that quality here.

We ate divinely! Revisited traditional dishes. The pigeon specialty was truly delicious. We ate: stuffed tortelli, pappardelle, pigeon, pork cheek, and to top it all off, pear cooked in wine, with mascarpone, dark chocolate, and chestnut jam! A real treat! Excellent wine.
Qualified and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Fair prices.

I visited here while on a trip.
Every dish was so elaborately prepared and amazing!
The 1.5kg steak was truly impressive!
It wasn't just big; it was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor!
Everything was so delicious that I ended up going back two days in a row!
