Pizzeria Grimmy In Massa

In addition to making excellent pizzas, all the staff members are very kind.

A simple restaurant, but managed with care and courtesy. The menu is simple but tasty, and there's plenty of variety to choose from.

At Grimmy's they serve delicious pizzas and focaccias. They have an indoor dining area for a quiet evening. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. They also offer "calda calda" (farinata, cecina, chickpea cake, etc.), which, like the pizza and focaccia dough, isn't salty enough to leave you feeling parched or staying up all night drinking. The dough doesn't bloat and is easy to digest. It passed my wife's test, so it's a guaranteed A+.

I've known this pizzeria since 1999, and it's always been top-notch. They've moved to different locations, but the essence hasn't changed. Silvio is a great pizza chef, innovator in making long, not round, pizzas and focaccias. He's a master of the "calda calda," or cecina, or farinata, as you might call it. Sonia and Nicolò are friendly, courteous, and efficient. You should try it and come back!
