05/08/2025: Great pizzas! It's a restaurant frequented mainly by locals; make sure you book well in advance!

04/08/2025: Simple but delicious dishes. Incredibly attractive prices. Authentic Italian cuisine, very friendly staff. The oval (pano) pizzas are highly recommended. The house white wine is second to none. During the season, I recommend making a table reservation. The pizzas are great for takeaway.

05/11/2025: Family-run tavern with less than 10 tables, very traditional, and as much as it may seem, it's not a tourist trap. In fact, you'll also find locals inside. It's very family-friendly, and above all, the two of us spent €20!!!!! In 2025, almost impossible even at McDonald's. With two first courses, two side dishes, bread, water, and 0.50 of house wine, surprisingly not bad!!! Highly recommended.

28/10/2025: The first courses are truly exquisite. The dishes are generous and meticulously prepared. The ingredients are truly excellent. The service is fast and courteous. The atmosphere is welcoming, except... a lot of people, so a lot of noise. I'll definitely be back.

26/10/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant a couple of days ago. The space isn't very large, with a giant fireplace that doesn't draw much air. The air inside is unbreathable, filled with smoke. Not to mention their very cute but very intrusive dog, jumping on customers in search of food! Another negative for me was the waitress, looking annoyed, told us the menu and refused to repeat the dessert menu to a customer, so she brought her to see them! I've never seen such rude behavior! The portions weren't exactly in line with the price we paid. I'll keep it short because the list would be long. I left the restaurant hungry because I didn't eat what I ordered because it was inedible, but I had to pay for it anyway. I will never go back.

16/06/2025: Posti come questo sono quelli che mi fanno amare la Toscana. Nel bel mezzo delle campagne senesi si trova questa oasi di relax, a pieno contatto con la natura e gli animali. Io ci sono stato solo per cena, ma le premesse sono ottime anche per passarci qualche giorno in più. In una calda serata primaverile mi sono goduto una gustosa cena nel loro splendido giardino in un'atmosfera rilassante. Il menù lo comunicano il giorno stesso, io ho comunque optato per la fiorentina che si è rivelata da dieci. Ho provato anche un piccolo antipasto con crostini misti molto saporiti anche questi. Da sottolineare anche la birra e il vino di autoproduzione. Sono stato davvero bene e se dovessi ripassare in zona sicuramente ci farò un pensiero.

06/09/2025: We stayed for two weeks at this enchanting Agriturismo. We were accompanied by our one-month-old granddaughter, her parents, and their beautiful dog. It was a wonderful place, so peaceful, with excellent food and an exceptional cook. Mrs. Monica, Jole, Manuel (I hope I didn't get the name wrong), Pietro, Marco, and all the staff are truly exceptional. And then there's Francesca, who is truly unique. A wonderful person, helpful, and very professional. What can I say? They made us feel at home. I recommend it 100%! Thank you so much, Francesca, and all the staff. 02/09/2025: We ate in the conservatory of a beautiful, small hotel, overlooking the tranquil garden. The food and service were top-notch and reasonably priced. We chose the daily menu, which was delicious.

04/10/2025: We had dinner. To say the service was slow would be a compliment. We arrived at 8:30 PM and waited almost half an hour for two glasses of wine. After that, while waiting for the appetizer, I asked if I could get some bread to pass the time. The appetizer arrived after 45 minutes. After another 45 minutes, my first course arrived. My wife had ordered a second course, and it arrived after I had finished my first course. Afterward, I ordered dessert, asking how long I had to wait. The waitress took my order and then told me they were out of stock. The food quality was average. The price was fair. Not to be repeated.

23/09/2025: Small café and restaurant, but they serve very well prepared Italian food. I paid for a whine and a 2 meal course 18€, so quite affordable Be aware that not all people there speak (good) English, but if you're up to that, give it a try!

02/10/2025: This hotel I already knew for work has changed management, but it's essentially the same as I've been using. One star removed just to warn anyone staying there that there are some issues with getting to Florence due to the ongoing construction.

15/10/2025: I really enjoyed our visit, it is a fully vegan establishment and, although I'm not vegan myself, I was happy to 'give it a go', the food was really interesting and the service very pleasant. This would be to perfect quiet retreat for a young vegan couple. I definitely recommend it, I felt comfortable and relaxed here, it is very laid back and welcoming. That goes for Certaldo Alto and the Tuscany region of Italy in general to, though ☺️

18/09/2025: The location is fantastic, with a spectacular view, the food is delicious and every little detail is taken care of, as is everything else. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about everything. It was a wonderful experience discovering new flavors.
