30/07/2025: A simple, no-frills place, just like it used to be. Top-notch authentic dishes, made just like they used to be. I had pappa pomodoro with burrata, penne with ragù, and a carrot and zucchini flower tart stuffed with scamorza cheese and vegetables. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and quick.

High quality, kindness too; I find the variety excellent and you can choose at random... you always land on your feet! Few but good drinks and what can we say about the desserts, those are special too, very fresh and also for gluten intolerants, what more could you want!!!

12/07/2025: First and only disappointment about an restaurant in Italy! We had to put ourselves salt and pepper on the bruschetta as it was very bland. I personally was very disappointed about the quality of the food. I would not recommend.

09/07/2025: I did a study abroad semester in Florence and this restaurant was assigned to me and everyone who lived in the same building as me. I've never eaten such AMAZING food. both of my parents are immigrants so I've had my variety of foods from all over the world. Nothing compares to this place. The service was outstanding, if not the best one of the best out of any restaurant I've ever been too. The atmosphere of this place is top tier. The Owner Gianni is so friendly and awesome. Along with the rest of his staff from the waiters all the way down to the cooks. I ate here 120 times thanks to my program and I can easily say that each meal blew me away 120 times again. If you're in Florence, Italy this place is a must try.

16/08/2025: Typical restaurant, excellent food prepared with care. Friendly and efficient staff; they even served a bowl of water for our dog with our drinks, a thoughtful gesture especially given the heat these days. The price is in line with the dishes we sampled. If you're looking for a restaurant where you can sample Tuscan cuisine, this is the ideal place.

Flavorful, inventive dishes, great wine cellar, elegant space, and friendly service, all without Michelin-style pretentiousness. Recommend to anyone looking for a special meal in Arezzo.

30/07/2025: A Memorable Dinner in Piazza San Francesco We had dinner here while staying in Arezzo, following a recommendation from our Airbnb host. Outdoor seating wasn’t available, but we were seated inside right away. The space was elegant—warm lighting, beautiful details, and a calm, refined atmosphere. At first, we weren’t sure if it would be the right fit since we were with our young son and teenagers, and the restaurant is Michelin-rated. But we stayed, and we’re so glad we did. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful in walking us through the menu. It’s divided into three sections, and they suggest two dishes per person. Only my husband followed that, starting with the steak tartare, which was excellent. We all had pasta dishes, and every one was incredible. I had the duck tagliatelle with ragù—delectable and made with rich precision. The flavors were deep and comforting. Our vegetarian guest had the ravioli and savored every bite. Each dish felt intentional and beautifully prepared, without being overdone. It was a quiet, elegant dinner. If you’re looking for more of a lively scene, the patio might be better. But if you want a relaxed, elevated evening with thoughtful food and a great bottle of wine, dining inside is a perfect choice. Highly recommend.

28/07/2025: A beautiful mountain hotel in the Casentinesi Forest Park, nestled in a beautifully restored small village. Managed with great kindness and cordiality, with particular attention to respect for the environment and its guests, it offers a delicious breakfast, some of which is freshly prepared. A swimming pool and parking are also available. A truly enchanting place.

11/06/2025: Even if we only stayed one night we had a great time. The rooms are simple but essential, the service is no exception, in fact we immediately felt welcomed and pampered by Jessica who was kind and polite. The breakfast was super complete and spectacular, not to mention the breathtaking landscape and pool.

25/08/2025: Excellent experience at Mordicchio. Welcoming and refined atmosphere, courteous and friendly service. The Mordicchio appetizer is truly plentiful and high-quality, while the balsamic-spiced fillet steak is flavorful and well-cooked. An excellent and well-priced dinner in a probably underrated restaurant. We'll be back to try the pizza. Highly recommended

15/07/2025: Excellent food! I had onion rings, which were really good. It's a shame the prices are a bit out of line; €15-20 for a sandwich without fries is a lot, even for the center of Lucca. The quality makes up for it, but it's not a place you'll go very often.

03/08/2025: A wonderful place. The restaurant is beautiful, historic, and meticulously maintained, with a large, bright, and welcoming dining room at the back. The staff is attentive and friendly; they're all very friendly and ready to recommend dishes and accommodate the customer's needs. We were served by Elena and Giulia, who enjoyed the prank of our prankster at the table (we were a group of eight, passing through) and even told us the history of the place! :-) The value for money is superb; the dishes are reasonably priced and the portions are generous, without sacrificing the quality and sophistication of the food, all truly delicious Tuscan specialties!! We spent a couple of hours in joy and lightheartedness, eating truly well! The manager was very helpful and kind enough to even give us a €2 discount per person, making us pay €32 instead of €34. I truly appreciated the gesture, because while there were a lot of us, these gestures are rare these days. €2 per person is a lot for a business, so thank you so much. The house wine is highly recommended. As for the food, I absolutely recommend the cold cuts platter we shared, accompanied by olives, onions, artichokes, and bruschetta with lard, cherry tomatoes, or chicken liver pâté (the latter was perfect!). I also recommend the cheese platter. The pecorino "aggrappato" is a real treat, but you should also try the pecorino zafferano e pepe, which is very special, and the pecorino al tartufo, a more classic but always popular. The ragù, which I had as a first course, was delicious, as was the chicken cooked in beer, which I tried with a friend at the table. The chicken was out of this world and very plentiful! Hats off to the desserts, too. I was full, but despite that, I wanted to try the zuppa inglese, and I really enjoyed it! Long live places like these, where the people are friendly, helpful, and do their job with passion and dedication, always giving the customer the best. 26/07/2025: Unfortunately, I have to give the food two stars, even though I think it would have been good if I'd ordered something else. The place is nice, the owner and staff are helpful and welcoming. However, you can't serve a plate of bubblegum-style pasta (personally, I didn't even like the ragù, but that's a matter of taste). Almost all restaurants use pre-cooked pasta, but believe me, this was inedible. A word of advice: if you go there, don't order the pasta with ragù. Try something else.
