01/07/2024: Abbiamo fatto un'ottima sosta per il pranzo. Un panino alla milza, uno con le panelle due birre e un'arancino coi pistacchi. 17.50 euro in totale. Panini buoni, l'arancino non ci è piaciuto, gusto stucchevole ed interno freddo rispetto all'esterno.

Personale qualificato, posto molto all'avanguardia e soprattutto direttore molto competente pronto a soddisfare le esigenze dei clienti. 17/07/2024: We had dinner at Torquemada on the day of our arrival in Palermo, very close to where we live, a large, very pleasant restaurant, you can reserve a table, both inside and outside, we ordered fries with ham and cheese plus four pieces, each one different and each one tastier. , site to recommend and a lot!!! 😊

20/08/2024: Great service and amazing food for all the family. The combination of Italian and German food really works on the menu. Beer choice is excellent and the whole family is catered for. Before even asking they bought the kids food out with starters. Worth a visit, but watch the carpark, it’s very tight if you have a large car!!

17/08/2024: Partiamo dal prezzo: cornetto 3.80; bomboniera algida 4,50; presunta granita di anguria (ghiaccio tritato aromatizzzato Con succo di anguria) 4,00; non continuo per brevità. Accoglienza iniziale: non è possibile sedersi per consumare solo granite e gelati. Dopo insistenza, ci viene accordato il permesso, ma non è possibile ordinare panini o altro perché c’è un turno e per un panino passa almeno un’ora. Se passate da Campofelice vi consiglio di fermarvi al lido Sciuscià: qualità prezzo ottima: 5’cornetti, due bomboniere, tre bottigliette d’acqua, due pacchetti di patatine, due bicchieri di ghiaccia tritato (piccoli) aromatizzatinall’anguria:€47.10. 19/07/2024: Karaoke and dancing evening. I had dinner with a good calzone but with too much tomato 🍅. Excellent service. Good value for money. Very suggestive location, close to the sea.

08/08/2024: This is a real gem, what a find! Right in the centre of Villagrazia Di Carini, on a corner of the main square, there is this amazing pizzeria that does pizza, burritos, panini, all sort of appetizers and much more. Everything here is carefully made with love and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and vibrant. We tried a vegan version of their vegetable sandwich, and one with bufala and cured ham - soooo tasty! Also, quick service, staff is lovely and great prices too 😉 We surely be back to try more specialities 😋

10/07/2024: This restaurant overall was good not excellent not bad but good. I wouldn’t return but I enjoyed the food. We started the meal off with the “pano e coperto”. This complementary but paid for bread which was ok. Nothing special, quite hard and difficult to eat. Oil was offered however could not save what tasted like very stale bread. Did not finish. For starter we had the caponata which was very flavourful, rich and delicious. 10/10 one of the best things we ordered that day. The aubergine, olives and everything were incredibly cooked. A bit oily but it made the dish more delicious. Highly recommend. For main we had the zucchine fritte (zucchini pasta) which was incredibly underwhelming and the Sarde (sardine tomato pasta) which was so flavourful and tomatoey. I would say the Sarde was a 7/10 but if it came with cheese it easily would have been a 10/10. We were not given cheese, as we have not visited Italy before we were unsure if cheese would have been included with the pasta. If I came back I would ONLY get the pasta with cheese. The flavour of the sardines tastes very similar to tuna. A very delicious tomato fish pasta… missing the cheese. The Zucchine Fritte was a bit bland. We had to add left over caponata to it, to add some flavour. Bland. Cheese did not also come with this pasta… I wish it did to bring some sort of flavour to the meal. The portion sizes were very good, we could not finish it all and we were able to take the rest for dinner. I very much appreciated the takeaway tubs provided! The waiters were lovely and happy to recommend specials. Very friendly and they spoke enough English where we ordered knowing what it was. The food arrived quickly but it took FOREVER to get the bill. We had to wave down a server after an hour. If we did not do this I think we would still be at the restaurant to this day. We sat outside which was lovely, great vibes and good location of the restaurant. I wouldn’t come back just because I wasn’t wowed overall by the restaurant. If you do go I recommend the caponata and the Sarde but with cheese. Do not get the zucchine fritte. Also be prepared for a long wait for the bill (fast enough for food service).

05/07/2024: The squid fritto was rubbery. The owner is an idiot who is hospitable every now and then. The little waiter took 20 euros and tried to persuade me to leave 5 euros for tea... Oily lettuce leaf for rotten squid...

15/08/2024: It was a great welcome to the city of Palermo! We took many things, one better than the other. The boy who served us was very kind and nice. The only negligible flaw was the cleanliness of the room and the absence of air conditioning. Finally, very cheap prices (€1.5-2 per piece) and abundant quantities.

29/07/2024: I won't focus on the food because (rightly for the price) it is without infamy or praise. But rather the rudeness and discourtesy of those who work there are perplexing. You work in the center of a beautiful city full of tourists who give you a living, despite this you are as angry as few people, but get over it!

03/01/2024: Clean and tidy place. Lots of confectionery assortment. Coffee made a little "mechanically". Yesterday the spoon was dirty (the fault of the dishwasher). As the coffee splashes fell, they had dirtied the cup (the fault of the machine). Making coffee is an art and....you've never gotten there.

22/10/2023: Sconsiglio vivamente chi non è del posto a frequentare questo bar. I prezzi cambiano se non sei locale e soprattutto se vieni dal Nord. Noi abbiamo pagato un singolo caffè 2€ mentre i clienti dopo di noi che parlavano il dialetto locale lo hanno pagato 1€.
