Excellent experience. I've dined here twice, once for a meat-based dish and once for a special ricotta and chicory pasta dish. The ingredients are local and truly appreciable, and the service is by the very kind and helpful waiters. The terrace with outdoor seating is lovely, offering a beautiful view of Isnello, the surrounding countryside, and the mountains. The food here is home-cooked, just like eating at home. Despite the simplicity of a modestly extensive menu, the dishes available are truly a highlight.

We had a really great time. The place was cool, with a view of Isnello. Tasty food, exceptional steak with mushrooms! Guinness on tap, served as it should be! Friendly service, and considering it was packed, quite quick too!

Al Matteotti Lounge Bar

31/12/2025: Delicious homemade food, real taste, heartwarming owners. The best!
30/11/2025: Today I visited Monreale with my family. It was beautiful. I called a local friend and asked where I could go for a traditional meal, and he suggested Al Matteotti Bistrot. I must say that Enzo and Domenico, the owners, welcomed me right away, making me feel right at home. Reading the menu, I was spoiled for choice, so I left it to myself. They served me some truly excellent appetizers and main courses, typical of the area and truly interesting in flavor. But beyond that, there's so much more to choose from, from sandwiches to salads, etc. When I return to Monreale, it will be my regular stop. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent cuisine at a very affordable price. You'll find it just a few meters from the Piazza del Duomo.

05/04/2026: It's my turn, literally. This is because I have to say this place inspires serenity, the waiters and chefs are exceptional, and I ate wonderfully (and wonderfully is an understatement) on a special day like Easter. I highly recommend this exceptional place, where your taste buds will literally "enjoy" it, because the pleasure is truly extraordinary.
21/03/2026: A very unique and welcoming place, recently renovated and with so much potential. The food arrives quickly and hot, with very short wait times. The staff is super fun and professional; a great place to spend an evening with friends!
